New Soham Track

I am a bit disappointed in the way the new Soham-Gauri track is going. I understand that there are the comments that state, Gauri is better off with Sachin because they are both well educated. But, this is a fictional TV show, where matches like Soham and Gauri are possible. A lot of people wanted to see them together, by both of them being in love with each other.

Soham's love story should be like this.

Arjun's cousin or long lost sister (played by Krystle D'souza) comes home from London. Soham is still heartbroken after Sachin and Gauri's wedding. The girl will be very modern but bubbly, she will have a friendly relationship with everyone especially Purvi, Manav and Archana. Then eventually be best friends with Gauri. Soham's and the girl's way of life will collide. They will have the same relationship like karan and nandini did in Kyunki. Then she will help Soham to be modern and educated, and he will help her be traditional. Soham will fall for her with the help of Gauri making him realize. But she will fall for him last...Then Ekta can bring in her drama.

If there is drama...I wanna see Arjun be the over protective brother and be against Soham's relationship with his sister/cousin. Purvi be the helpful sister-in-law, who will unite them.

But no RAPE!!!!! If Ekta uses rape in any of her serials one more time...I swear..

fictional or non fictional , it is even stupid and illogical, that any girl as educated as Gauri would want to be with a person like soham, irespective of how wealthy his parents are. if that is the case then gauri is better of with that ministers son right.

what has soham ever done to better his status, did he even try to get an education, or even a useful skil like become a mechanic or electrician. any job that would give him the skills to progress and learn. nobody is faulting that he has not changed for the good, but is he not able to do better in life then think of marriage and a family.

speaking a few english words and wearing expensive suits at family functions does not make him husband material for a girl like gauri. why should she settle for anything less then the best suitable man for her in everyway, in terms of education, status, intelligence, and profession.

how dare a nobody like soham even think the a girl like gauri should love him. by himself he is nothing, if Archana did not support him in every way, he would just be a gunda who is better off behinds bars, or short dead. it does not take him a second to go back to being balans vishu lala. to get gauri. why should gauir even accept such a man as her life partner.

if soham had any consideration for his mother and sisters and for gauri he should have gone to skills school and made something of himself.

i hope that even if he manages to marry gauri she never accepts him. i hope she hates him more then ever and leave him as soon as possible. rather then live with him

our TV serials and movies should stop giving the message that a man can go and take what he wants for an unwilling woman. these are the things the make men think that they can do anything to a girl and get away with it because she should just accept it as her faith

However, in response to your statement saying that Soham was not trying to better himself, or learn a trade... Ekta had Soham actually doing that. She had started a track of Soham bettering himself, and learning English, which was eventually going to teach him to work in his father's office. If you remember correctly, Archana had stated that she herself had started learning English at home, and she is where she is now... And us watchers were to understand that was the road Soham was taking.

The show is fictional, and in a fictional show, it can appease us viewers with an educated and uneducated individual falling in love. It has happened before. So ALL those movies and shows we watch where it has happened, and become hits, would be considered stupid as well. But we make them hits. (Let's give a FEW examples from the 70s - Don, Coolie, 80s - Amar Akbar Anthony (Anthony was not educated), Love 86, 90s - Ek Ladka Ek Ladki, Andaaz Apna Apna, Raja Babu, etc...) Therefore, proving, that in fictional shows, love can happen regarless of race, religion, or education. Love is blind.

So I guess you can say... he is able to dare.
