Just because they are concentrating on Purvi and Arjun, does not mean they are not concerned about Ovi.

Really now blaming Armaan, just because you like Ovi.

They should have done this long time back when they learned what the 3 did.

Ovi needs space from her situation, not her family. I know because I've been in problems but being with my family seems to make it all better (even if temporarily). Sometimes that temporary escape with your family gives you the mental strenght to fight it out. Ovi can't do that since her situation is living right with her family.

Please don't stoop so low as to make me out to be a fangirl of a character. I've never ever been a fangirl nor do I plan to in my years of watching indian serials. I can relate to what the character of Ovi is going through, but that is different from being a fan. I have defended Vaishali, Varsha, Archana, Manav, Vinod, Manju, etc when I feel it was justified. I also blamed characters for their misdeeds. In the future, please keep personal remarks to yourself. It is a request 😊 You were indirectly stating that I'm biased based on my likings. The topic maker (me) isn't up for discussion. The topic itself is. I like sk11's response, even if she disagreed because it excluded personal remarks.

I would like to add that Ovi has a past with not being able to handle things well. What makes Archana Manav think she won't relapse? Sometimes people are more vulnerable than others. We can safely say that Ovi is weaker emotionally than Purvi at the moment. Good parents know their children's strenght and weaknesses and give attention based on that. In reality, most parent's in Archana-Manav's shoes would be at Ovi's side.

Completely agree with your post. But then again, ArMan have always been horrible parents. Nothing new here.

Archana worried about Purvi day in and day out...she did not even tell her where she's going. Here Archana knows exactly where Ovi is but chooses not to bother.

Manav and Savita raised Ovi up...Teju and Sachin had a beautiful sibbling relationship. Archana did raise her for the first couple of months. With all due respect, other than Archana, Purvi is very much a stranger to D clan. It is highly unrealistic to expect Purvi to be held in the same regards as Ovi. The desmukhs have only known Purvi for a couple of months in her adult life (not counting the time she was away in Kolkotta). You can;t expect them to feel the same way for Purvi (except Archana and Sulo)

Very well said. Agree with each & every word. Purvi is definitely new to The D clan. In fact, Savita also blamed that Purvi for the misery of Ovi. Thank you so much for this post. 😊

I am sorry if you felt that I was personal.

The fact is I have also had severe depression, my family could do little. I had to pull myself out of the depression.

Armaan can not go and baby sit Ovi, Ovi is the one who needs to pull herself together. Her parents wont be able to do that.

when a kid insists that she/he wants to stay away from all the problems for few days , frnds might give them space ...but parents are parents who never leave their children in their worse situations ..they vl forcefully be with them to make them better ..those r the real parents ...

and just bcoz u like arvi u r expecting ppl to ignore wat they feel/see 😛 ..everyone has entitled to their opinions ...😛

I'm sorry to hear that. We all go through a bad patch in our lives, some more severely than others. Some people get through it by themselves, others need family + friends.

With Ovi's history of suicide, drinking, and self-harm it is a no brainer that she will need to be "babysat"...any parents would leave what they are doing or divide their resources to ensure their daughter is safe. Let's face it, Desmukhs are filthy rich and can afford to send at least one member of the family. The gesture itself would speak volume. I can say in all honestly that if ever I was in a bad patch of my life and living away from my family, my mother would accompany me for weeks, months, or even years. When one of my relatives had a miscarriage, her mother came to be at her side for months. This is just a miscarriage, not her whole marriage that crumbled.

Manav and Archana doesn't have to talk to Ovi directly about her problems. Archana can go there and distract her by bonding. It would make up for years of missing out on Ovi's growing up. I can't believe their solution is to dump the problem on to her next suitor 🤢 Marriage does not fix that kind of emotional scar. Everyday interaction and seeing how loved one is can do wonders.
