1st scene
Episode starts at Gauri's house
Gauri's father gives some clothes to Soham and asks him to change, but her mother serves him food and tells him to eat first and change later as food will get cold.
Soham says, No Kaki, Im not hungry.
Gauri and her mother look sadly at him. Soham goes to change his clothes. Gauri's family observe him worriedly.
Gauri's dad says, Poor guy has been hurt very badly, thats why hes running away from all relationships. It will take a long time for him to recover, we should inform his family.
Gauri tells him, No Baba, we cannot inform them or else he will leave this house too. We cannot tell anyone hes here until Archana Ji returns. Today, I saw glimpses of Visnu Lala in him. Until Archana Ji returns, we have to keep him here and look after him, we have to stop him from becoming Visnu Lala again.
Her dad tells her with an approving smile: Its really a noble act to stop someone from going on the wrong path, and you have done that for him. Im proud of you! And regarding Soham, a guy who helps others, saves people's lives, hes so good at heart that he can never be a gunda!
2nd Scene: Arjun's Office
Arjun is telling his client Mr. Kelkar at a meeting, The tagline for our project shd be very interesting. It would be Small prices, Big houses. Our intention would be to provide luxury homes for lower middle class families within considerable cost and I think our company is going to achieve it. So what do u say, shall we consider this a deal?
Purvi speaks up, Excuse me Sir, sorry to interrupt you but I would like to point out something to Mr Kelkar. Sir, the amenities and quality of the homes that we are providing them, our cost of production is going higher than what is being quoted. I think we should think again abt our costs of production, I think we are under-quoting, Sir!
Arjun tells her, Well Ms. Purvi, our researchers have kept a report in front of you, have u read that report? Because according to them, its not a bad deal, and we pay our researchers to do their job well. And this is not our first project of this type, we have invested in this kind of project in Canada and its an established project. All I want to say is, if we bring this project to India it will be a success.
Purvi disagrees: Sorry to point out Sir, I think ur missing out the small details. Youre talking abt Canada, but if u look at it, costs of production, material prices in Canada and India are very different.
Arjun asks her if her advice is based on facts?
Purvi tells him No Sir, its based on my own work experience.
Arjun suggests she shd read the research report again, because according to that they are going to import the raw materials this time and these imported raw material is low cost so cost of production will be under control.
Arjun continues, So Mr. Kelkar, all I wanna say if we could make a successful project with that in Canada, then we can import those same raw materials to India and make it a successful project. Take my word for it!
Mr. Kelkar agrees, Mr. Kirloskar, we enjoyed working with you. And whatever queries we had, Ms Purvi helped us by raising those questions, so we are ready to finance ur company on this project.
Arjun thanks him and escorts him outside.
Purvi looks distressed and thinks: What have I done? If I had objections, I should have talked to Arjun personally instead of saying it in front of the client. Now Arjun will be even more angry with me..
Arjun is in his office instructing his secretary Mehek to ask Daljeet prepare the contract and to call Mr, Kelkar and tell him we will get the contracts signed
Purvi comes in and apologizes to him, Arjun Im sorry, I shd not have argued with you in front of the client.
Arjun waves it off, Its okay, not a big deal, I didnt mind it! You were doing ur job, I was doing mine...actually u were doing ur job very well, so u started arguing with me in front of the client. He laughs...Purvi looks distressed.
Arjun says, I was coming to u just now, You have cracked such a big deal, the weather is so good, dont u think we shd celebrate, how abt a cup of coffee?
Purvi still looks upset, No Arjun.
Arjun assures her, Purvi, I said its okay, dont feel sorry, its a minor thing, not a big deal, let it be..
Purvi says, No Arjun, its not a small matter, its my fault, I shd not given my opinion without checking the reports.Today the company might have suffered a big loss because of me. You know what, I feel that now Im not capable for this job anymore.
Arjun is shocked: What! Youve gone mad! For such a small incident, ur saying ur not capable? What is wrong with u? Forget abt it, Come on lets go!
Purvi insists, No Arjun, its not a small incident! Its not just abt this, our working styles and opinions are so different and I dont want our different opinions to create a big issue. Like today...
Arjun tells her, Ms. Purvi Deshmukh! Difference of opinion is necessary, if these differences werent there, then the company would sink. Its good for the company, for its growth! For you and me! And I promise you if such a thing happens in a conference in the future, I will give u a tough competition. And if I still lose to u, then I will quit my job!
Purvi falters...What, u will quit ur job?
Arjun laughs, Yes, I will become a mechanic again!
Both laugh and Arjun says, lets go and get coffee, shall we?
And they leave together.
3rd scene: Gauri's house
Gauri's brother Atul comes to her and asks her to tell the story of Rishi Valmiki as he has to write a school essay abt him.
Gauri tells him that shes a bit busy, so please ask Baba..
Her father says, Come here, I will tell you. So son, the story goes like this. Once there was a Robber, whenever some travellers passed by the forest near his village, he used to rob them and feed his family. One time it so happened, for 3-4 days nobody passed by that village. The robber's family was hungry for 4 days! On the 5th day, he went to the forest again and saw a group of travellers coming that way. He thought, Today he will take a lot of food for his family. So he looted those travellers and went on his way home with all his loot. On the way he met Rishi Naarad, who told him that looting people is a sin, its a crime! Naarad asked him, The family for whom you are committing these sins, will they own a share of your sins too?
The Robber went home and asked his family right away. They said, all these days we had been ignorant of ur crimes but we are not going to be part of your sins. To feed ur family, u could have chosen some other path, why did u choose this path?
The robber was very sad and thought, Strange! I committed all those crimes to feed my family and now they dont to share my burden of sins?
He was very depressed and left home and went into the forest. And there he started meditating. And after all that meditation and soul searching, he wrote a Great Epic and that great epic is called The Ramayan! And that robber was none other than Rishi Valmiki!
While the dad is telling the story, Soham was standing at the window and listening to him intently. Gauri also was looking at Soham as she saw he was connecting his life to the story...
Soham turns around to look at Gauri's dad, who continues, The Moral of this story is that any human being can be a little bad and a little good. Circumstances make us good or bad. If we have committed some crimes, it doesnt mean we can never be good again. By doing daily penance, we can get back our original goodness. Little things, like controlling our anger, avoiding jealousy, greed, just observing these rules, we can regain our goodness and defeat our faults. So u understand?
Atul smiles and nods.
Gauri's dad tells him to go and write the essay..and also to think abt the story deeply (he looks at Soham as he says that)
Atul agrees and leaves, Gauri and her dad look at Soham to see his reactions but hes standing at the window with his back turned, lost in deep thoughts.
Next scene: Arjun's office
Purvi is making a presentation. She tells them, Our deal is finalized with Mr. Kelkar.
Shes drawing something on the white board and explaining everything to the other employees.
Arjun is watching her as shes getting confused and stumbling at times.
Meeting ends, everyone else leaves, Arjun gets up and tells Purvi: I got a call from Sheetal, she said our shipment costs are going up so u have to make some changes to the port of delivery.
Purvi tells him she will sit with the client and review it..
Arjun asks her whats her favorite cuisine.
Purvi says, its Indian cuisine.
Arjun says, Okay, u review this and tell me when its finalized.
He tells Purvi they have a meeting with Mr. Gaekwad, so they will have to go to his office
Purvi says, But the meeting was tomorrow, when did they change the date?
Arjun replies, Just today ...his phone call came a little earlier..
Purvi says Okay and leaves.
Arjun seems to be planning something as he calls some place with a satisfied expression.
Next scene: A restaurant, Arjun and Purvi walk in.
Musicians are playing piano and guitar.
Purvi looks confused and asks Arjun: Meeting was supposed to be at his office, did the venue change?
Arjun said, Yes, venue changed, this is Gaekwad's restaurant, we will work while eating..
Purvi is surprised: While eating?
Arjun says nonchalantly, Yeah, work while eating...
Purvi sits and looks around, waiting for Mr. Gaekwad's arrival, when suddenly a focus light falls on her and someone starts playing a mouth-organ on the stage.
She looks surprised, then the guy on stage turns and its none other than Arjun, playing a mouth organ and serenading her!
Purvi smiles with wonder (I couldnt recognize the tune he was playing)..Arjun walks around her, circling her, serenading her and playing the instrument. She smiles at him, with stars in her eyes.
Arjun completes his performance, other diners applaud him. He bows before her and thanks everybody. Then he sits down again.
Purvi asks him, Arjun, all this...
He says This was a Surprise! Didnt u like it?
Purvi smiles and nods...
Dance music starts playing "Mera yaar yaar mujh mein, mera pyar pyar tujh mein"
Other couples start dancing. An older lady comes and urges Purvi to dance and an middle-aged gentleman comes to Arjun and urges him to dance with Purvi. The older couple take them to the dance floor despite their protests and finally Arjun Purvi start dancing.
Mera yaar yaar mujhmein, mera pyaar pyaar tujhmein
Mujhsey kho gaye, mujhsey kho gaye ho tum
Teri yaadon mein teri yaadon mein main gum
Arjun and Purvi are dancing to the song, smiling, talking at times,looking happy together, hes spinning her around, shes laughing. All other couples are dancing too.
The older lady whos dancing with her husband, looks at them with a smile and comments, What a nice couple!
Her husband agrees, it seems like they love each other a lot!
Purvi hears them and stops smiling, becoming conscious again, aware of the situation. She stops dancing and Arjun also stops. He says Thank you, Auntie! Then tells Purvi, Lets go..
They return to their table and sit down, Arjun says, They were a cute couple (the older one), right?
Purvi agrees. He asks her if shes feeling better?
She says shes rather tense.
Arjun asks her what?
She tells him, I dont understand how to tell Varsha Maushi that Soham dada has returned to Patna. She was already so disturbed and worried abt Dada, now when she learns abt this she will be even more angry with us. And theres tension abt Aayi too, but theres time for that, when she returns we will think abt what to tell her but I dont know what shd I tell Maushi now?...
Arjun tells her, Its very simple, just tell Varsha Maushi everything with honesty. And as it is, Soham dada didnt leave because of you, so just be honest...and if needed, I will go with you..
Purvi tells him, No, she wants to go alone, but could he drop her at Aaji's house?
Arjun agrees, and she tells him she will reach the evening meeting on time
He says she can skip the meeting...she protests she will be there, but Arjun tells her its Boss's orders, no need to come. She smiles.
Next scene: Sulochana Aaji's house
Varsha is looking at an album, at Soham's childhood pictures and crying.
Sulochana comes with food and asks her to eat, reminding her she had not eaten properly for 2 days.
Varsha says, No Aayi, until Soham returns, I wont eat anything.
She asks his photo: Where did u go, why did u go? Dont u ever think of me? Please come back to me, I wont tell u anything, Ill never say anything to u...please return to me..
Shes crying copiously when Purvi enters the house.
Varsha gets up and runs to her: Purvi, did u find anything abt Soham? Tell me, where is he?
Purvi looks sad and hesitatingly says: Yes, Maushi, I have found out where he is...he went to Patna!
Varsha and Sulo are shocked!
Varsha says, What! Patna? No Soham cannot go back to Patna! You're LYING!
Purvi says shes not lying!
Varsha says, No Soham cannot go there, he had promised me he wont go back! He cannot break his promise to me!
Varsha is crying hysterically, Purvi and Sulo try to calm her down.
Varsha cries, if Soham goes back to Patna, then he will become Visnu again...he will become a gunda again and that Balan will take advantage of him, will make him commit crimes! Aayi, I have removed him from that environment with great difficulty, I dont want him to become a gunda again!
She angrily asks Purvi, when Soham left that house, why didnt u all try to stop him?
Purvi tells her she and Teju had tried their best to stop him but he didnt listen! I also went looking for him, searched for him all over! But I couldnt find him anywhere!
Varsha shakes her head grimly: No Aayi, Soham cant go back to Patna by himself, someone must have influenced him! and I know who did...
PRECAP:
Varsha goes to Balan's den and starts pulling his scarf: You took advantage of my son's innocent nature! Arent u ashamed of yourself! How could u do this?
Balan is confused: Arey, What did I do?
Varsha is screaming at him: I transformed from Visnu to Soham with so much difficulty! If u try to turn him back to Visnu then u will see the worst of me!
Balan protests: I dont know what ur saying, I didnt do any of that! I havent even met him for a long time now!
Varsha yells, You are lying!
