In fact DK told Manav they are going to Canada so Ashna gets good treatment/ilaaj for her illness. Ashna came to say goodbye to Archu before leaving and she died in Canada later. Archu was shocked to know from Arjun later on that Ashna had died.

Shes such a selfish, self centered psychotic girl, she cannot even behave like a bahu let alone take care of patidev and sasurjee. In fact all she did was insult her patidev and sasurjee by not listening to their advice and drinking like a bewda and destroying her unborn child!
All Ovi wil do after return is scream some more and do more cheap drama, shes the vamp of the show and thats all she does! 😆

babes i am wtching the show from day1 specially whn the story was abt armaan.

hw much i have seen ashna-dk had gne to canada with a toddler arjun,they havent shown hw big arjun was whn ashna died.

dk was very happy wid ovi as a bahu,wat arovi shared no1 knew abt it,evn ovi drinking habits were unknown to dk,so hw will he adviced her nt to drink.i tink u dont watch the show.

i just found ur statement saying that the house misses the malkin of the house ashna,legally its ovi the malkin now until the divorce happnes.

anywys u guys enjoy ur topic,i honestly dint wnted to post here anyting,but cldnt resist aftr reading ur statement.

As alyz pallavi di completly agree with u..Purvi is d best..D amount of sacrifice she did 4 her ADOPTED MOM is jst incredeable..i alyz want 2 becme purvi(office going,confident and bold) whnever i see her i really luv her cant see her crying..ashu rocks

Couldn't agree with you more.She is the perfect image of an independent woman whom takes care of her family and child and is not selfish!

Not sure who is or is not good. It is all a story written by the CVs.

The character of Purvi, as developed by the CVs, does have the trait of caring for others even when it hurts her. And yes, she has shown kindness and concern for her family members (even though not for Onir, perhaps she never saw him as family).

Having said that, in developing her character, the CVs have forgotten to add rational thinking. She gets overly emotional when things concern her family, wants to fix them immediately all by herself by making sacrifices and forces others to accept her decisions. Her heart is in the right place, but that cannot be said about her hasty decisions. Why would she keep staying in Mumbai after giving Pari to Ovi? Ovi was perfectly fine then. She could not detach herself from her daughter, even though her decision required precisely that. Purvi cannot think of the implications of her decisions, no matter how well meaning they are. This makes her a weak character.

As for Ovi (played superbly by Shruti), her character is developed as a spoiled brat, perhaps the result of having grown up without a mother with a dominating grandmother. Teju and Ovi developed completely different traits. Her screaming and tantrums were irritating to see. But her pain is understandable. A girl growing up without mother's love would naturally long for love from her fiance (she was engaged to Arjun before he came to India). The shocks she received would be unbearable for any young woman in her position. Whether she would take care of DK is a separate matter, but she has not shown any malicious traits like Punni and Manju. She does not belong to that category.

I don't wish to get in an argument about Purvi vs. Ovi (although i do have my opinion 😆) but I just wanted to clarify that according the to dialogues in the show, Arjun must have been a teenager when Aashna died.

The time she appeared to him and he was talking to her picture, and other times as well when he talked to her, he spoke as if his memory was that of an older child / parent relationship. It seems to be the nature of DK's conversation with her as well.

Awesome post Pallavi Di. What U say your post is really superb. Also back to answer is really awesome. Hope that Purvi will again independent, self respect type girl. No more sacrifice, no more rona dhona. Hope that Purvi realize her past mistake. Also realize that her actual in-law house is Kirloskar house, Arjun-Purvi-Pari-DK is awesome Kirloskar family.Eagerly waiting ARVI united.

Very good post pallavi. I too am enjoying purvi and arjun interactions in the show. They are too good. I hope they reunite soon. Ovi seem disappointed that arjun signed the divorce papers. What s it she really wants? I dont know.

Happy for purvi and I am for once enjoying PR to some extent.

I am a bit busy at office these days and when I get home, I am so tired that I rarely get the time to interact here as I used to. But keep posting, I do enjoy reading your post

Yes Purvi is THE BEST, indeed a superwoman, Miss know it and do it all, what is the need of other characters, I mean there is a butler in the house who doesn't know how to make a damn vegetable soup, it has to be done by THE BEST PURVI, what's the need of other employees working in DK's office if the work has to be managed by the person who haven't worked for atleast one year and still came back to manage the multi-million dollar company single-handedly, but I forgot that person is THE BEST PURVI. Yes she is sacrifice ki murti, it doesn't matter if it ruins life of those people for whom she supposedly sacrificed, she sacrificed Arjun which resulted in a loveless marriage, but that loveless marriage needed to be consummated TWICE, she herself made the decision that Ovi will not be able bear the loss of her child so she sacrificed Pari, (who the hell gave her that right by the way), that resulted in broken home of ArOvi and top of that she had the gall to taunt Ovi of being a bad mother. and grab Arjun's collar of being a bad father and then crave about 'Pari meri jaan hai', afterall she is THE BEST PURVI. Onir a successful and respected doctor who lived in a haveli, is now reduced to a filthy chawl, got his license cancelled, have no job, ridiculed by one and all, and all this happen after he came in contact with THE BEST PURVI. If these are attributes of being THE BEST, sorry I prefer THE WORSE anyday
