Pavitra Rishta all set to take 18-20 years leap!

Post Ankita Lokhande's return on the popular soap, the makers have decided to take the story line ahead to suit her come back. The makers are planning to take the story ahead by around 18-20 years, once again.

The show had already taken an 18 years leap sometime a few months ago, to pave new way for Archana and Manav's grown up kids and their love interests. The story garnered good ratings as the story picked up pace and the audience like the new 'Manav' aka Hiten Tejwani in the place of 'Kai Po Che' actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

Although, Ankita Lokhande, the original Archana quit the show sometime back, to take break with her beau, Sushant Singh Rajput, she's back with a bang. Her return has helped in generating TRP's for the show once again.

The show currently shows Archana and Manav trying to talk to Arjun and their daughterOvi, from divorcing. However, Archana knows that Arjun had always loved her orphaned daughter Purvi more than Ovi, her biological daughter and so she tries to talk him out of the relationship and sign the divorce papers for the good of both Ovi and Purvi.

Earlier, Purvi was shown to have married Dr. Onir, in a fit of impulse, while Arjun went ahead and married Ovi. Things fell apart and now the story shows the promise of gettingPurvi and Arjun once again pitted against one another. Archana, without the knowledge ofManav, is all keen to help the relationship work and so got the papers signed by Arjun, so that she could set both, Arjun and Ovi free.

With the plot going strong and in a favored direction, makers have thought of utilizing this time by taking it by another 18-20 years ahead. However, the other star cast, primarilyRithvik, Shakti and Asha, who portray the roles of Arjun, Onir and Purvi respectively are not keen to be seen as older versions of the character.

While the makers are negotiating with the lead characters to stay, the audience still remains in a doubt about the future of the show. As for now, let's stay glued to the show, which shows the story getting more and more better with Arjun and Purvi's sorted lives.
