I have been a silent member in this forum.I have read this argument over and over again.I know me posting here will not stop any instigating posts.First of all I would say that PR is till maintaining its TRP because of such conflicts that were created to confuse the audience.
If all these characters would be alive in real life than probably there would be no obsessive characters like Ovi. Arjun,raised in Canada would not have come and settled in India , or fall in love with Purvi later and so this problem would not have existed.
PR is a fiction but if we still are trying to analyse it with a practical mind then, I would say this.
Purvi ,the only prodigy who mastered Archana's principle has been a very obedient follower.Though she was trying to do good by asking Arjun marry Ovi she is still wrong as it was not practically right.
Ovi is a brat and she gets it from her upbringing , Savita! Though she tried to correct herself after a while , she did it with half mind and never meant it, which was obvious in today's episode when Soham broke the news of Arjun signing the divorce paper.
Arjun is too nice to be just good.He did not want to make Purvi unhappy, then he did not want to make Ovi unhappy and so he never stood up for himself, kind of a spineless puppet.I am also surprised that he always stood and the receiving end not fighting for himself ever.
Overall Ovi when she bombed herself into Arjun's and Purvi's love frame should have been ready and foreseen that more things would be coming. When Ovi saw an intense love in Arjun's eyes, she should have known that true love can never be erased.
When Purvi was trying to stay out in Calcutta, she should have stuck to it seriously.
So neither Ovi is a saint not Purvi and Arjun could be think practically.So I guess there is no need for demeaning posts with title words like " desperate"
