Fabulous post as always, Sharadrocks!
CVs have definitely been reading our justification posts!
What we have been saying all along that Arjun loved Ovi only as a friend and yet he tried his best to make the marriage work. But he could never give her the love she demanded from him, which drove her to alcohol and depression. It was a hopeless situation. Arjun felt guilty for Ovi's unhappiness and everyone blamed him but nobody saw what a lonely and hopeless situation he was in!
And yes, Purvi always felt she had a Haq (entitlement) on Arjun to ask for him to sacrifice his love, his happiness for her. Love gave her that Haq and shes used/misused it so far. Now I hope she realizes that her haq also entails giving him the happiness he deserves.
@Vasu: I agree, Purvi shd never have gone to D chawl so soon! She could have stayed at Sulo Aaji's house or even in Gauri's house if needed. Her presence there would be a constant reminder to the Deshmukhs of Ovi's divorce and the reasons behind it.
Purvi did look like she would be Sita and the ground would open up to swallow her, drowning in her guilt. When will she stop being so self-denying, almost to the point of self-loathing? Shes really a contradiction of sorts, on one hand shes trying to run everybody's life, micromanage Arjun-Ovi's love life, on the other hand, shes suffering from low self esteem, thinking she doesnt deserve any happiness and she is guilty for everything that happened!!
