Ovi committed a huge mistake by OFFERING the deal to Purvi. Since then, she has learned from her mistake, paid a huge price for it, the death of her baby and her right to mourn for him/ her.
Thank god that Ovi is not a mahaan person. She accepted her mistake and APOLOGISED for it. Despite all the pampering she got from Manav and Savita, at least they thought her manners.
She at least has tried to rectify her mistake by sending the divorce papers.
She has not gone around lying to everyone nor covering her actions. I would say for someone who was cheated of their baby, who was offered no sympathy or comforting words from baby's father, TWIN sister, parents and other relatives, she has done great for herself.
Sure she went off to Canada and some drinks. But that is how she was dealing with her situation. That does not make her an alcoholic.
Just the fact that her family does not see fit to accompany her to Canada even for a short time, shows that they know she is a strong indidvidual. Had they really believed that she was emotionally unstable, they would not have allowed her to go there alone.
At the end of the day, Ovi was in love with Arjun, she fought for him. Things did not work out, she realised she wasting her time, she apologised for it and moved on. There was never a need to resort to lies.
Ovi has never pretended to be something she isn't.
Ovi is the ONLY character that has grown and matured in this show.
