Chapter 23:
At 8:00 the next morning, Arjun woke up. His flight with Purvi was at 10:00, but he had some other plans. He quickly called her as soon as he woke up.
"Hello." She answered, sounding wide awake.
"Hi princess!"
"Good morning!" She said laughing and blushing at the same time. "Ready for our flight?"
"Ummm, yeah of course!" Arjun said reluctantly.
Purvi noticed the hesitance in Arjun's voice. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah, yeah, I'm absolutely fine!" Arjun said trying to sound as reassuring as possible.
"Okay then. So I'll see you in one hour at the airport!"
"See you then!" Arjun said.
"Bye." said Purvi.
Just as Purvi was about to hang up the phone, Arjun stopped her.
"Wait----I love you."
Purvi smiled. "Love you too."
They both hung up the phone and got ready for the airport.

"Purvi!" Arjun shouted Purvi's name as soon as he saw her.
Purvi immediately turned around and ran to him to give him a hug.
The hug lasted for a couple of minutes and Purvi broke it.
"Tumko late kyun ho gaya? (Why are you late?) Purvi asked angrily.
"Mein sirf dus minute late hu!" (I'm only ten minutes late!) Arjun said.
"Par tum kaha the?" (Where were you?!) Purvi said.
"Mein gas bharne ke liye gaya tha." (I went to go fill the gas.) Arjun said trying to make up an excuse.
"Gas bharne ke liye, acha, toh ab tum yeh batau ke agar hum plane se ja rahe hai, toh gas ki kya zaroorat hai? Aur tumhari apni gadi bhi nahi hai yahan, toh gas kyu?" (To get gas, okay, so now tell me, if we're going by plane, what's the need for gas? And you don't even have your car here, so why gas?) Purvi said, not believing Arjun's excuse for a second.
Arjun put his hands up and sighed in defeat, he really couldn't hide anything from Purvi. "Okay, okay, mein yeh kehne ke liye gaya tha." (Okay, okay, I went to go get this.)
Arjun took out a box and gave it to Purvi. She opened the box and gasped when she saw it.
"Oh my god! Wow!"
Inside of the box, was a necklace, and engraved in the necklace was a "P" and an "A"
"Yeh tumko yeh baad mein dene vala tha flight mein, par tumse toh kuch chupa hi nahi rehta. Vijay ne mujhe kaha tha ki yaha pe bahut acche necklaces milte hai toh isliye maine yeh tumhare liye banaya tha. Par dekho agar tumko pasand nahi hai toh m----" (I was going to give you this later on the flight but I can't hide anything from you. Vijay told me that you can get very good necklaces here so that's what I got this made for you. But look if you don't like it then I c---) Arjun said very fastly and nervously.
Arjun was interrupted Purvi giving him a kiss on the cheek.
"Stop rambling Arjun! Mujhe bahut bahut pasand aaya. Thank you so much." (Stop rambling Arjun! I really really loved it. Thank you so much."
Arjun immediately gave Purvi a hug.
"Ab pehnungi mujhe?" (Now can you put it on for me?)
"Of course."
Purvi turned around and Arjun put the necklace on her.
"It's so beautiful! I love it!" Purvi said.
Just then an announcement came on. "All passengers boarding flight 47 to Dubai please exit towards gate number 3."
"Oh my gosh Arjun! Chalo jaldi karo! Hamari flight miss ho jayengi!" (Hurry up! We'll miss our flight!) Purvi said.
Before Purvi could go, Arjun stopped her by grabbing her arm.
"Purvi! Ek aur bhi surprise hai." (There's still one more surprise.)
"Arjun tum please mujhe flight par batana, humara plane miss ho jayega!" (Arjun please tell me on the flight, we'll miss our plane!)
"Hum Dubai nahi ja rahe." (We're not going to Dubai.)
"Kya?! Dubai nahi ja rahe matlab?!" (What?! What do you mean we're not going to Dubai?!)
Arjun reached into his backpack and pulled out two tickets. He then handed them to Purvi.
"Hum yaha ja rahe hai."
Purvi quickly read the tickets and immediately gasped.
"HOLY CRAP WE'RE GOING TO FLORIDA!!" Purvi screamed and everyone in the airport stared at her.
"Shh Purvi, awaaz neeche karo! and I believe that's what's on the ticket!" (Shh Purvi lower your voice.)
"I love you I love you I love you!" Purvi said as she hugged Arjun.
"I love you too I love you too I love you too!" Arjun said laughing.
The two then ran to catch their flight, they might have left the City of Dreams, but they were onto make memories that would last a lifetime.
