I watch any drama for its strong storyline and not just for a particular couple. If the couple I like fits in with the developing story, then all the better for me and it would make me enjoy the drama even more. I don't agree with ruining the story by showing immoral things in order to reunite a certain couple when the show wants to focus on pavitra rishtas and touts about sanskaari upbringing. The majority of the forum doesn't represent what the majority of the public would want. I know many friends and relatives in India and even in Canada that are against ArVi reunion. Anyways, more than making fangroups happy EK should be aiming at a gripping, believable story line viewers can identify with. It will automatically attract the audience without having to show a wife leaving a husband who has sacrificed so much for her to return to her ex, and a man who is always running behind his ex instead of giving his marriage a chance.

Two people who loved each other were supposed to marry the next day, then a third person, a vamp came between them and split them up by emotional blackmail. Most normal people dont like to watch a happy couple getting separated because of plotting by vamps or villains.
So viewers wait and wait for that couple to unite, then lose patience and interest in the show. Thats what has happened...people in India (where trps are counted) lost interest because of the bakwaas tracks of Arjun Ovi marriage, double pregnancy of Purvi and Ovi, baby swap, Onir's secret...drag drag dragging tracks for weeks and months. Many viewers quit watching PR and started on other shows.
Most normal, moral, ethical viewers be it in India or NRI do not like a man engaged to one sister falls in love with the other foster sister w/o breaking his comittment off with the first one. Two timing is not condoned behavior by anyone. So jeeju dumped his fiance for his future saali.
Oh absolutely VArsha, not to mention, Indian believes in arrange marriages, always has. Marriage as an instution is far above love. Love here in this forum is highly over-rated...that reminds me of an interview about RSSI. In one of the Rishta interviews, an Indian audience (so a home audience, not a NRI) said that the heroine chemistry was great with the Anti-hero, but the Heroine was married to Daljeet (I guess a parallel lead). So, hearing that, of course the Cvs thought, well, Daljeet need to be the deprived hero, and they turned the Anti-hero (whose character name I can't remember) turn positive, get married to the Heroine. of course - that could impact TRPs. The anti-hero became a hard working labourer. Put in plenty of 'shirt ka button' moments...but...eh...chemistry or not, TRP dipped and dipped, and now I hear, it is probably going of air. So, much for Chemistry and true love. Btw, did I mention, the Heroine and the anti-hero were in love too...so, you get it😃Originally posted by: Dabulls23

Than the forster sister forces him night b4 to marry his orig fiance her step sister. Not satisfied with that the same woman hovers around her sister's marriage to her ex, forces him to consummate their marriage, Knowing the fact that she had sex with him the night b4, .runs away to other state to hide her pregnancy, finds a good doc for a husband, hides everything, than makes that good husband treat her same step sister by running to mumbai, making him follow her too, swapps sister's stillborn with her and her ex jeeju's love child for what her step sister Ovi's bhalai...Janta cant digest this...People can seee clearly who the good one is and who the vamp is...Sometimes vamps are hiding behind the facad of being goody goody...As Ovi is out and the Amar premis can't still get together they turned Onir silly and stupid too...Showing him -Ve. But the guy who accepted this trick as a wife although she was pregnant, never forced himself on her, treated her step sister, swapp babies, lost medical license and now shown to be having a "First wife" What does that mean?Just to make the Amar Premis reunite so much kaands...People with sound minds and morals will see what is right and wrong..Viewers also eath dhaan and not garbage as EK and CVs assume...We all know what is up..My POV Ofcourse..
Right on Kalapi...I know the serial you are talking abt...I dropped watching it as soon as I sa Sahibaji - Daljeete and Ranveer...So gun turned good husband and Good husband turned bad boy...Sahiba flip flopping between the two with her confusion...Good if it goes off air...Deserves it...In the name of Love they show so much garbage which is not going to go down with audiance...Most have morals and dont get hot over chemistry and romance...There is a time and a place for R & C but there is a place for reality too..Oh absolutely VArsha, not to mention, Indian believes in arrange marriages, always has.
