In fact nowadays I see Indian actors and actresses hugging each other, high society people hugging each other at parties, male and female friends hugging each other in colleges etc.

The other day, I was watching SSLK and Gunjan's Mumbai friends arrived in Benaras to attend her wedding and her male friends were hugging her. Theres this old Mausi who has come to attend the wedding, her eyes were like saucers to see Gunjan's male friends hugging her, she was so shocked, saying Shiv Shiv...😆Now this woman is illiterate, old timer, a nasty old scheming shrew, so she was getting shocked abt a simple hug.😆

Im sure when Arjun hugs Purvi hes not thinking abt sex. 😆Especially in this case, Purvi is crying inconsolably, shes lost her mother's love too, shes alone in the world, so hes trying to comfort her, reassure her with his hug that shes not alone. Sex is not on everyone's minds all the time especially when someone is upset and crying.

BTW Arjun is not married in the real sense anymore, Ovi left him, they are separated...so how can a hug matter to Ovi? She doesnt want Arjun anymore...

Ive seen some parents like that in real life who are actually afraid of their out of control kids, afraid to tackle them, discipline them or punish them.

A mother feels she has a right to slap her kids when they make mistakes, or blunders. But Archu never felt that kind of closeness or Haq on Ovi to slap her for her misdeeds.

With purvi, the cvs destroyed her character...she was a strong, independent, and vocal...she WAS a real human person...no just a cry baby.

With Ovi, she is a spoilt selfish and entitled brat. Why the cvs have favored her character as a positive character is beyond me. She is totally like manav and then some...I don't know how she can expect Arjun to love her when he married her when this was a "deal" that he got blackmailed into by purvi and ovi. No one can turn on/off their heart. And the D family even expected that...manav does not understand true love then either.

Arjun should have left both purvi and ovi when the deal was presented.

Teju is the only real character from the next generation of pr...unfortunately not much screen time on her after she accepted archu...but I do enjoy when she swoops in to set things right!

The only savior for the stupid tracks of late is that this was all a bad dream that purvi or archu and we go back to purvi and Arjun the day of their wedding !
