Well another boring episode today. I really thought that Onir's truth would have been revealed today but we have to wait yet again. At least part of the truth should have been released to viewers.

If everyone think about kidnapping etc, then they would not even allow anyone to hold their child. I understand your point but sometimes people would come into your house, be nice to you and win your trust but they are really evil (look at Onir). They can still kidnap your child if you know them long or just a few days. It all depends on the individual and off course you have to put your trust in God. You can never really trust someone completely, everyone is human.

In archu's case, she trusted her sister, there was no way in her dreams that she would have seen or imagine that varsha, her own sister would have done such a deed.

I deliberately stayed away from the cradle thread but I would say that if Purvi does not see the need for a cradle, then its up to her. Everybody has their own priorities. She never said anyway in the Show that she cannot afford a cradle for pari. Its is what we the viewers assume. Since Onir has a steady job, I have not seen purvi having milk problems for the baby. It was only shown once that she could not afford milk and that was when Onir was out of a job and they were facing difficult times but they have both gone past that now. There situation is different. It is not fair to use the past to judge what is happening now. Life has changed for purvi and Onir and pari.

raydallie , baby trafficking goes on in EVERY part of the world and rules r the SAME everywhere , DON' GIVE YOUR BABY TO STRANGERS .

Whichever Mumbai they are showing in PR , It is a Mumbai very much of the current world , not a Mumbai in fairy land . It is a Mumbai full of bigamy , pre marital sex , unwed pregnancies, forgeries , kicking out old people so they land in old age homes ...its very much a Mumbai that shows reality . These things r shown in this very serial , i am not making them up , we have all seen them in this serial only .

In Archu's case , it was NOT just trusting her sister , it was trusting her kid with a person undergoing treatment for OBSESSION . She can trust her sister all she wants , what she cannot do is use her kid as a guinea pig to show the world for this trusting experiment . How did she know Varsha was cured , any knowledge in the medical field to be so sure ? Varsha herself was protesting , unsure about her progress , how did Archana know , she got enlightment inside ?

And suddenly how does it become unfair to use the past to judge the present 😉? Do you mean to say dear that one must see each episode as a fresh start and block the earlier connecting episodes from the mind ? So sorry , thats not possible for then the serial has no meaning . It is a soap opera running for 3 years on connectivity of events , currently Varsha is being shown punished by family ostracization based on past events of 18 years ago ...this very Soham kidnapping , and why must we viewers forget that , makes no sense to me .

I agree with u about Purvi's priorities . The cradle is NOT her priority . Costly sari , trips to Bhopal , housing strangers [ now how much money does an adult human being cost ] seem to be on her priority list . That doesn't make it right however just coz its NOT her priority . Forget the cradle , even Pari is not her priority . Thats why she leaves her with strangers often . Her priority like her mother is proving some godforsaken point . Right now she is playing the pativrata who implicitly trusts her husband Onir . So to prove this she doesn't even listen to what Arjun has to say and check the proof on the basis of what he is saying this and believes Shalini the stranger she met a day ago so much that she leaves her baby with her with shut eyes , so much is her vishwas ! Both Archana and Purvi need medals for being fantastic moms .

@red I dont mean that there is no connectivity as there is. What I mean is that when it was shown that purvi could not afford milk for the baby, it was at a time when they were going through a rough path in life. They had no home, Onir could not find a job and I dont know why purvi herself was not looking for a job. However, they now have a place to live and Onir has a steady job. Life would have changed for them from then to now. It is on that basis, I said it is unfair to judge them based on circumstances then. A steady income could see them having a better standard of living.

He feels this strong need to protect her and pari because he loves both of them. I think he wants for her to wake up and see things for what they are but she is just stuck in that one place, trusting everyone over him and even her own instincts. She need to re start using her brains to think.

Exactly, I really want someone to tell Purvi, I told you so. Purvi thinks she is always doing right but she isn't.
Arjun wants Purvi to see reality as it is, and hopefully he succeeds in his attempt. Want Purvi to see all the crap she has put Arjun through yet he loves her.

Exactly.

I still can't believe Purvi left Pari with Shalini to go meet Arjun... She met her less that 24 hours ago (I think dont know about pr time)

I seriously do not understand whats the hue and cry about the cradle made out of a sarree. I have seen families still use the sarree as a cradle in India. When I delivered my first child, my gynaec told me the best thing to do was to get the newborn in the same bed as mine as the mother's warmth is good for the newborn. But otherwise the cloth cradle is the next best thing as it makes the baby feel cosy and comfortable just like how it was in mother's womb. It is also quite safe as generally the babies cannot trip over either sides as the cloth is long enough to hold them.

Even recently I have found few of my professional friends use the cloth cradle even in Singapore where it is always not possible to have that hook-ring made available in the ceiling.

Yes, it is not used very often these days but once again, a sad reminder of what people forget about the benefits of some of our old practices.

Thanks for this. Its very good observation and incite. I too does not see anything wrong with the baby not using a cradle. Some babies dont even want to stay in a cradle they prefer the saree or what we use here (hammock). You get a baby to sleep faster in it and longer. I used it more often than I would have used the cradle.
