When will Purvi learn?

After looking today's episode, I am just thinking that Purvi may never learn. She just continues to treat Arjun like crap and continues to trust Onir although she is having some doubt in her mind about his behaviour as of late.

Arjun is trying to tell her something is not looking right and that the woman in her house is very suspicious and she just throw what he is telling her on deaf ears. Why would arjun come to tell you these things if there was not some truth or something fishy about it. Purvi when will you start thinking straight. You need to start looking at your own life and Pari's future. You just cannot sit around and takes things for granted.

I am at least happy that Arjun is thinking right for once. He has to protect his daughter and her mother (the woman he loves). I only hope that Onir's truth comes out soon. It is becoming redundant as the days go by. From the precap, I hope Purvi now start thinking straight and lend her support to arjun for finding out what is it that Onir has in his closet.

I doubt that will happen. Purvi trusts Onir blindly.

What I cant stand is, Purvi treating Arjun like crap. She keeps repeating what Onir has done for her but forgets all that Arjun has done and is doing for her. Arjun is not jealous of Onir, he is concerned for Pari and her well being. Arjun even gave away Pari to Purvi which was so hard for him. Sadly, people only feel a mothers pain not the fathers.

Purvi needs to trust arjun, as he is not just a very good person but also the father of their child. Arjun needs to expose onir fast for pari's safety

Rayadallie,

I have not seen today's episode as yet. I have only read the WU. But I would like to think that's enough for me to comment on your thread.

First of all - I completely agree with you and your usual valid and eloquent perspective.

Its indeed time, actually, the time has long gone for Purvi to start listening... not only to Arjun but to her own instincts and gut feelings. She needs to grow up and think of her own future and to realise that every single decision she makes today will affect and impact Pari in some way, if not today then in the future.

Her priority is to ensure that Pari is always safe and protected and the only other person who would feel as strongly about protecting Pari other than her mother is her father, that is Arjun.

Even if Purvi doesnt agree with Arjun and believes only in Onir, then as a woman who knows Arjun well enough to know he wont lie to her, should at least give him the chance. If Arjun is wrong, then her fears will be put to rest and she can say 100% that Pari is safe. But living in uncertainty is not good for her and certainly not good for Pari.

BUT - as the old people like to say "If you can't hear, then you will feel"

I too cannot stand the way in which purvi treats arjun and he continues to go after her and care for her. She is taking him for granted. Yes, Onir did so much for you but what about arjun? has he not done anything for you? He married Ovi for your sake? he messed up his life for your sake and in the name of love. He returned pari to you and trust you with pari. Cant you at least return some courtesy and kindness to arjun for that?

He respects you and your decision purvi. He does not want to take Onir away from you but just wants yours and pari's happiness. It is not easy for him but he is trying and is not forcing himself upon you.

@Bold - thats the thing that I cannot stand either.

@Red - thats so true... we all felt Purvi's pain... but Arjun's pain is just as much and just as significant. Being a man does not mean less than being a woman where parental rights are concerned. Each play a diff role, but both roles are important - VITAL! Arjun suffered too and is still suffering. He too made great sacrifices. I (my own personal opinion of course) feel that his sacrifices are sometimes forgotten and undervalued, simply because he is just a man, a father and not a mother.

Thank you Ash, Your posts are always good to read. I enjoyed reading them.

You could not have said it better. I am really thinking that Purvi need someone to knock some sense in her head. When all the damage is done who will be there for her? the D and K family? I doubt it. It will be only Arjun and if he turns his back then, who will she run to? She needs to start thinking properly, she an educated and intelligent girl, yet she behaves as though she has neither. Soham who is not as educated thinks better than her.

I feel Arjun should stop showing his care for Purvi for once. Itz then she would understand wot his worth is. Purvi is one messed up female. She blindly trusts Onir but cant even speak respectfully with Arjun who is supposed to be the love of her life! Arjun should really stop taking her nonsense. She takes him and his love way too much for granted! High time Purvi learns to respect Arjun.

I agree, she is taking him for granted. Her behaviour is beginning to annoy me. She has doubts in her mind, why not take the support of arjun or lend him your support so that you can find out what is it that Onir is hiding. Sitting and thinking that she should not judge Onir wont help. What you are seeing in bright daylight you need not take torchlight to go look for it in the dark.

Purvi has taken Arjun and his love for granted. She feels everyone's pain except Arjun's. I only expect Purvi to give a small amount of respect to Arjun, is that too much?
