purvi makes the wrong decisions but her decisions are not selfish, though in the longrun they are boud to cause pain. she does not think of the consiquences of her deed. but simply does thinks that she believes would bring others happiness.

like giving up arjun would have made Ovi happy, and Archana would have got her family back thus making her happy. what she didnt take into account that unhappiness it caused Arjun. and ovi in the long run.

Purvi is like Archana she thinks of others more than she needs to. and this is her worst drawback a fault in her character. its not about Sanskars its about intentions.

Sanskars only find voice in intentions. but even good intentions can have bad effects and have nothing to do with sanskars.

and besides i feel that Sanskars are subjactive. like younger people should respect their elders no matter what the elders do even if it is bad. if a person were to voice objection against the elder then society would lable that person as having no sanskars. just an example.

WHat? When did I equate sanskaari with sanyasi? I very well know the difference between the both.

A person can have good intentions but the way in which he/she works to fulfill those intentions is what shows their sanskaars. And Purvi's way of doing good deeds is just not right!
Being SANSKAARI doesn't mean you have to sacrifice yourself at every step for other's happiness. And what happiness? Whatever she has done till date has not got anybody any happiness! Rather their lives have become miserable. Doesn't her SANSKAARS include apologising for the mistakes she has done? Doesn't her SANSKAARS include minding her own business and not trying to meddle into anybody else's life for what may seem wrong to her might be right for them?

She just wants to control everybody's lives to improve them. Arrey who asked her for her bhalaai? She is just shoving down her goodness into everybody's throats! Why? What kind of Sanskaari person does so? Yes. Self-proclaimed mahaan people do so.

For instance, she disposed off a baby without it's mother's knowledge. What kind of SANSKAARS are these? Who is she to give happiness to Ovi? Who is she to decide Ovi's dead baby's fate?
Didn't her equally sanskaari mom Archu told her its bad manners to poke your nose in somebody's business, especially when the person doesn't like you?
And why give up her own baby? Doesn't she have any responsibility towards it? This mother daughter duo loves bartering babies. What sanskaars!!
It's not sanskaars dear but her overdose of mahaanta which made her do so.

Who was she to expose Punni? Not that Punni was right but it was her life and she was happy in it. Who was Purvi to interfere? And the way she did it was very Sanskaari!

And she is mannerless.
I think going into a married man's bedroom without knocking is 1 of her many sanskaars. Has she ever heard of the word 'knocking'?

Being good at heart isn't equal to being sanskaari.
If your goodness is turning everybody's happiness to misery, it's of no use. And a sanskaari person surely understands that. But she keeps on doing her mahaan kaands and when everybody is sad as expected, she sings her 'bhalaai' song.

She surely is just like Archana.

If Purvi is sanskaari she would never have eyelocks with a married man
Neither would she interfere in someone else's married life regardless of the situation
If she knows her interaction with her ex fiance is causing problems in her so called family why would she communicate with him ?
The excuse of Pari is very lame 😆
The other example of her not being sanskaari is her manipulating : lying habits
Lying does come within sanskaar
My parents always taught me not to lie
Of course they told me to do good
But not at the expense of several lies
They just taught me to help others whenever possible
Neither did my parents teach me to go have an affair with my boss
There should be respect , a code of conduct when interacting with workplace seniors

Totally agree with you.

Purvi is the furthest thing from sanskaari. She does not even know the meaning of the word... she is a hypocrite, a liar and a cheat. she always interferes in the affairs of others. She is like the queen of lies...

I agree for these r EXACTLY my thoughts .👏

Forget sanskaars , that is a far off thing , the girl needs lessons in BASIC manners coz she is living a bohemian hippy life not acceptable in any middle class indian mould .

The topic is whether she is fit to be called sanskaari . Laughing at Ovi or proving she is NOT sanskaari does NOT prove Purvi deserves the tag . I m curious to see how she is defended for this tag , WITHOUT blackening Ovi of course . By which angle is Purvi sanskaari .

TM Agree with your post and responses to others...👏
Purvi is far from Sanskari...She is Manipulating, overbearing, liar, cheat, interfering, annoying, hypocrite, narcissist and righteous 😡
No one can deny that Purvi has interfering traits, she lies, she hides and she plays manaanta, tyaag and bhalaai card each time..
To defend her people blacken Ovi because they have no other way of defending Purvi..
Good topic and posts TM👏
BTW how is it concluded that Arjun never loved Ovi when he fell for Purvi?
What he felt for Purvi was it love? Or Lust? Infatuation?
he thought that he nvr loved Ovi but his actions speak otherwise and loud and clear...Ovi does have a place in his heart and life which he is not able to get away from..
Purvi is a mirage-mrigjal which he keeps running towards which in reality does not exist IMHO 😃

All I want is peace for Ovi and Onir. I don't care what the mahaam premis do. I am fed up.

Thankyou!😊

I am just a silent reader and prefer to read and laugh than to write and argue. But some topics are just so insensitive and illogically anti-Ovi that I decided to pen down my thoughts.

I have made 1 more topic regarding Purvi and Ovi dissecting their flaws..would love to see your views on the same😊

Even Purvi suggested consummation to Onir despite loving Arjun. So she is bad too, right?

M not at all saying ArVi consummation was wrong! They had every right to do so! But Purvi should have told this to Ovi when she put the deal, that's my point. If even then Ovi had accepted Arjun, then I would have said Ovi is dumb and her misery is the result of her own deal.

And yes.. Archu! Just because she is a mother, Ovi should accept her, that's what you want to say, right?
What had Archana ever done for Ovi? They never showed Archana even missing her kids, forget doing anything for them! Ovi hated her mother and her life was going very well without a mother. She loved Arjun more than Archu. That's why she put such a condition. She could have survived without Archu but not without Arjun. Arjun was her priority not Archu. She was not wrong in her thought process. And she is suffering bcoz of that deal till today!

Coming to Purvi, yes she sacrificed her love for Archu's happiness. And yes, it is practical! I never raised this point at all. My point is she should have atleast told Ovi about the extent of her and Arjun's relationship. That's all I'm saying.

Both girls were practical from their POVs. I just don't understand why Ovi is the only 1 getting criticised.

And I do respect your opinion!

@ Bold Arjun had no choice as he was already married to her for the sake of purvi.

@red really???? purvi should have blurt out to Ovi that she had sex with arjun? Why? Any woman in their right senses would never have done that especially when it comes the 'other' woman. Anyway, I doubt whether it would have made a difference to Ovi then.

@Blue Archu nutured Ovi in her womb for nine months before handing them over to their father and with a promise and she did nothing for Ovi? Manav should be the one to be blamed for Ovi not having her mother as he believed his mother over his wife. But what, Ovi love him and Savita unconditionally for separating her from her mother.

Your last point is that I understand purvi's position although I think that she should have said no to Ovi, sleep or not with arjun or her mother's happiness or not. Like wise, arjun should have said downright no to purvi's request and remain single if he could not get purvi. But the fact of the matter is she would have been called selfish if she did not give in to ovi. Ovi in my mind was more at fault because she knew from inception that arjun loved purvi and was getting married to purvi, yet she was determined to get him no matter what and now the end result is purvi, arjun, pari and her life are all in ruins.

My point of view and I do respect yours.

Arjun had no choice? Okay, i agree
what happened after the truth about Archana and Manav's seperation came out? He didn't have to continue his marriage .
He loved Purvi, maybe they weren't together, and maybe they wouldn't be together
but did he have to continue the so called marriage with another woman?
🤣
