I really don't know Kalapi how Archana waking up will give ANY different perspective on her crime ridden kaands .

Unless Manav's hitherto reined in hormones will go out of control and he will start sipping water from her palms and see everything with HER eyes and by not using His brain which has been the story of PR .

The 18 yr leap , though for few episodes was refreshing so was the ostracization of Purvi who is clearly a destructive tornado and criminal . Beyond that we cannot expect anything and since we do not lap up Archana's foolishness as something great , we r in minority .

Kool, you know how the Cvs can with one stroke change the landscape. I still cannot accept how Manav could forgive Archana for the court case and go gagagogo haha of "meri Archana'jaap. The Cvs are only going to make Purvi, the height of Mahantaamness and have all kiss her feet soon. They will use any BS reason. I have a feeling that CVs will show that Onir is still married to Shalini (and Shalini may not be a good wifey/ or Onir not happy or something) and make Purvi's marriage invalid. So, this will get Onir a slap from Archana and clear for Arvi union. Don't really look for any logic – there aren't going to be any. I don't think Cvs have any plans to show Ovi. So, we are going towards gisha pita Ram kahani, unimaginative and boring repeats of storyline – for I don't really see anything interesting story wise after Arvi unites. Frankly, Soham storyline seems very unimaginative so far. I am so bored already – Ovi's track was really most interesting and the actress was really good – now, I just watch to enjoy KC – otherwise PR is pretty dull yaar…

Just out of curiosity - umm what exactly is uncivilized in the above post? The actor in question does have a speech problem, the CVs have indeed created her on the lines of a "Nosey Parker" (not name-calling, this is a euphemism) - and she is extremely irritating. So why single out just one member and expect them to follow a PG8 language, while the rest of the participants of the thread can say whatever they like, about any character whatsoever.

Purvi's ideas of putting things right r fickle , impulsive and juvenile ...like the baby swap . Why Manav was hesitating was if the experiment goes wrong Archana could lose her life and that burden would be on HIS head .

Why he would listen to an ostracised person who is famous today for wrong decision making baffles me

Why Purvi did not once think what would happen if her foster mother died baffles me ...she of all the people should be MOST attached to Archana and shown constantly debating from all angles in her mind

why none of the other children speak baffles me

why Sulochana and Savita r not shown brainstorming this baffles me

it is so dangerous to show raw youngsters handling a human life without any elder guiding them as if they know everything ...Gauri and Purvi who have not even seen life . It just doesn't happen that way .

If ovi had said the same to manav would you be singing a different tune ? And as you say if any other child of arman spoke the same dialogue would you feel different?

I agree that elders should make decisions as they have experience etc. savita was shown speaking to manav.

I don't understand how purvis ideas were impulsive or fickle. Juvinelle I'm assuming you're saying because of her age right? I'll give you that.

Gauri is a doctor no & she's taking care of archaea she can put her opinion in as she's medically trained and educated something no deshmukh elder has.

At end of the day whether I like it or whether you like it or not purvi is protagonist and thus will be shown doing all the major things in the serial. That's just life. Sorry.

No i would not be 'singing a different tune' coz i think i made it clear in one post in this very thread that stories of 'LOVE' have nothing to do with this important , responsible decision making . Its HOW the argument is made . Even if Ovi had told him past love stories my stand would have been same . I clearly said that he should have listened to ALL but the call should have been his OWN .

Her decisions ARE impulsive and fickle . Right from cancelling the marraige at last minute to listening to the fact that Ovi's baby died and swapping it for her own , to suddenly breast feeding the baby in the car after deciding to give it up ...she has a history of doing ANYTHING . I used the term 'juvenile' not because of her age but to indicate the immaturity of her sudden decisions .

Some of us here do NOT regard her as the main lead but only an important character in the show . Since we have been watching this show since day one , we recognised Archana and Manav as the main leads . The rest of the children r only important characters . She is perhaps having a more important role than others but when other tracks commence like the Soham track , others get footage too . We felt sad that RD , a talented actor had a cameo role for many days . And so it goes on , thats the way we see it and comment .

Edit Add : Sure Gauri can give her opinion as a doctor . But she is a very young and inexperienced doctor and experience counts . Dr Agarwal's professional opinion and hers r way different . Youth has its limits ...lack of experience . Youth also has its advantages ...positivity and innocent enthusiasm .

Fair enough. I thought you were just talking about this decision of talking to manav.

But manav did just that...listened to all (as all were sitting there and savita was talking to him in the scene then purvi came) and then made the trip to the doc office himself no? So why so upset purvi put in her opinion ?

Love makes world go around. With love is hope and most importantly faith. I've seen faith do wonders. You gotta believe. The human race is based upon this same hope & faith.

But I agree to disagree as I understand better what you were trying to say in your post now.

But my dear , that was my contention . That other children r just not shown to speak or have opinions . Teju is standing mutely in the background , Sachu has no words , Sulochana was not shown giving her opinion .

If Purvi had said , what do we have to lose , she will lie like this for some years and die in this unconscious state , why not take a chance and see if she is jolted into consciousness...i am the child she raised , whatever my faults , i love her and cannot bear to see her like this ...it WOULD have made sense . What CVs do is use every incident to stress on the love story aspect and what a great pavitra rishta it is , etc .😆😆 I find that amusing coz this situation is totally different . Contrary to what many think , im not so cynical😆 and yes , love is there and its this very love that makes Manav weak and hesitant before giving his signature . But even more than that , it is fear of taking risk with a human life and being responsible for it . U see , the emotions r layered and multiple .

But this very stance makes me feel you are being cynical. It is PR it's a love story. It's the foundation of this show. Your sentence of love makes manav weak reminds me of two things. First idk if you watch that show once upon a time...a very infamous character carried out her wrongdoings only after she ripped out her heart because she felt love makes one weak. Just thought I mention it. Then I remember how much you write about the innocent arovi baby and I think "wow this person really feels for this baby...must be a mother writing" Idk why but I feel as of you would then understand love as the biggest part in decision. This is my own little thinking. I don't know you personally or even if your mother so please no offense. Just my little thinking.

Next althought I understand its a very difficult decision layered with love and fear and all other emotions but I feel hope and faith should override this fear. There's risks with everything that is done in the hospital. But do the benefits outweigh the risks? Do we try to be optimistic and pray for the best? I think so. But that's my opinion and what I think purvi was trying to convey. To have faith and make this decision for her. To save her. To find her again.
