No, Waneeka, one does not endanger one's brains for such faltu reasons.
Today was really fun, if looked at from the right point of view.
First, the Terrible Twosome, Kinshuk of the rat trap mouth and her sidekick Shalini. I did not think that duo, who look like two of the witches from Macbeth modernised, looked scary, or even Kinshuk alone. To my mind, both of them looked ludicrous, and provided much unintended humour; they seemed more worried about Onir spiking their guns than the other way around. As he talks of telling Purvi himself, it is apparently not a disgraceful secret that will make him unacceptable to all and sundry, not that any of them is doodh ka dhula ya dhuli.
As for 'Onir ki sachchai', seeing that the Two Witches repeated the phrase about 20 times in five sentences, my bet is that neither they nor the CVs know what it is. They are probably voting on the various options suggested at their morning meetings😉. Does that make you feel better?
The other thing is that today the duo said not a word about what had earlier seemed to be their sole concern - the job they want Onir to do for them. If they spill his sachchai to Purvi deliberately, surely they can expect no more cooperation from him? I think there has been a change of CVs and the outgoing one has not left a handing over note😉, so the new one is starting from scratch, so to speak.
As for Onir losing Purvi, as has been suggested elsewhere, because of his sachchai, that would be the best thing that has happened to him in months.
Then he is being pulled up for not' taking care' of his Mishti.. Well, apart from the fact that she can manage a dozen people effortlessly, he was not babysitting her because he had to keep a eye on the witches, and then he got called away to attend to the injured foot of Witch No.2. If that falling knife had got her in the head, it would have been much better, of course.
In any case, there was no big bad wolf around to gobble up our Purvi, so I am sure she could have managed at the party without him for a while. Why, if he had stuck to her, how could we have had that baharon phool barsaao scene?

Ok, now I am back😃. Had such a hectic weekend, that I couldn't even able to peep in😭
Anyway, my take on why females are coy and demure. I think, during evolution females realized very early on, that they do not match males in raw physical strength, but are equally sharp mentally. But at an age when physical power was important, allowing men to protect females physically became important. Over time, a woman acted that way to get their job done😃. Besides, being assertive and straightforward with men, only ended up challenging them in a negative way, for such challenges only brought out into the open what Men could physically do to a woman - and that was to harm them using their physical power.
Even in places of higher power in this very Century, a men will be perceived differently than a women even if they show the same amount of assertiveness. In fact, me being in the corporate world, Men when they are rude, loud, creating all sort of problems or are bossy – are considered to 'act their self'. But a Women will be labeled a 'B🤬'. Margaret Thatcher was labeled the 'Iron Lady". Same with many Women controlling the top most jobs. Actually, to get away from this typical assessment for women, can anyone believe that special courses are offered in Corporate America for women to be assertive without being a B🤬 😆
Look, at Savita, Ovi, Ajit, Mittal. Who was called a W🤬 and a B🤬 in this forum….we unconsciously carry on our primitive instincts – all of us, either men or women…a woman in most cases need to use her instincts of coyness, demure, shyness even now to be successful and use it effectively….I talk from my own personal experience too…...I rest my case😃
