Ovi the character has been showcased well this far and has grown leaps and bounds these past few weeks. Even though I do not very much like the character, have to grant that the CVs are developing Ovi's character pretty responsibly. Whereas other characters are butchered right and left, Punni, Ovi and Onir have steered the straight path, touch wood.
In keeping with this new maturity that the CVs are trying to portray in Ovi, I hope that on seeing Arjun and Purvi together, Ovi after a momentary shock, takes it in her stride and blows Punni's plans to smithereens. It would be good to see the three show a united front to Purnima Mittal. It would strengthen Arjun's growing awareness that his wife is perhaps not that bad after all, and Purvi's efforts to meddle/sacrifice and make Arjun and Ovi's marriage work would not be in vain.
That said, I abhor the costumes of both girls. Purvi looks like an old washed out woman in those faded, dull sarees and same two blouses that she repeats for all her saris. Ovi for a model is shown with no dress sense at all, dislike those glittery strapped chudidhar tops she wears. A model would not wear the same kind of clothes day in and day out. Watched the November 20th episode and the green dress she wears in that suits her character and she looks nice. Archana looked stylish and classy in those outfits she wore at the end (whether they were in keeping with her role or not), why can't these girls be allowed to dress nice?
