Roadblocks due to baaraats in Jodhpur are common during the wedding season. But this time, it wasn't a wedding that caused a roadblock in the SUN CITY, but a film shoot onChaupasani Road that had the crowd queuing up to get a glimpse of the actors.
On Wednesday afternoon, people were excited to see Bollywood actors Parineeti Chopra, Sushant Singh Rajput and Rishi Kapoor, all dressed in traditional wear, for the shooting of an untitled film being directed by Maneesh Sharma.
A scene was shot in the afternoon with the entire star cast dressed up in traditional attires. There was a lot of hullabaloo on the sets, as a baaraat sequence was being shot. The crowd at the place added to the chaos. However, Parineeti remained unaffected and kept calm and gave her shots along with Rishi and Sushant. The shooting will continue for almost a week at different locations in the city.

The upcoming Fashion Week will see an unlikely candidate walk the ramp. The model in question is Kiran Rao and this would be the first time she has undertaken such an assignment. Apart from Kiran, the fashion show will also have Dino Morea and Nandita Mahtani walk the ramp together--an indication they are finally in a mood to acknowledge their long-standing relationship. But, it isn't without reason these celebrities have decided to walk the walk. All this is for Ronnie Screwvala's Swades Foundation - an NGO that works for rural empowerment. Designer Vikram Phadnis, in collaboration with the foundation, travelled to rural areas of Maharashtra like Raigad and Ratnagiri and took inspirationfrom the rustic fashion and it is the collection based on this that the celebrities will be wearing during the show Joining Kiran, Nandita and Dino will be the likes of Deepika Padukone, Ekta Kapoor, Jeetendra, Farah Khan, Dia Mirza, Rahul Bose, Vaibhavi Merchant, Sanjay Khan, Chetan Bhagat and the Kai Po Che team including Sushant Singh Rajput, Amit Sadh and Raj Kumar Yadav.
