Archana, after a long time i am very happy to see your post. It's a heartfelt post and a very genuine request too.

I have stopped watching PR and just read the WU only as I can't bear to see the separation of ArVi without knowing what the future holds for them.
PRs current track and future track doesn't make any sense at all. By reading the update itself it hurts. How am I to endure the pain Arjun is going through. It is just unbearable😭

After reading your post, I just hope the CVs or even Zee will read them and revive the beautiful love story that we once fell in love with. Oh, how I wish it will happen sooner than I think.
Thanks a lot for taking your time to share with us such a wonderful post.

Thanks everybody! I think so too..I realize Arjun and Purvi have gone through the worst..and the CV's have butchered this story...but I dont feel there is any pleasure in watching Arjun-Ovi or Purvi-Onir. That is primarily because of the actors I guess. There is just no chemistry there.

Hello Everyone. Long time! I heard about the future track...and well, I just wont go there. I decided to write a letter to someone at Zee...expressing my feelings about the whole thing--which I thought I would share with you all. Here it is:

My name is Archana Verma. I had sent you an email previously, but since I hadnt gotten a reply yet, thought I would try again. I realize you must be extremely busy, and your inbox is probably flooded :) But as they say..."If at first you dont succeed, try, try, try again"...so here we are. :)

Zee is a great channel- I remember the first serial I ever started watching was Astitva. Pretty long time ago. There were plenty of other shows too- Saat Phere, Kasam Se, Teen Bahuraniyaan, and the list goes on. I was definitely a regular watcher of the soaps over the years and fully enjoyed them. However, I had never been too involved in them. Until now.

Now I found myself all over India Forums (which I had just joined in April 2012), on Facebook as Admin of a large Fan Group, writing an article for Fuze Magazine contest, and watching SBB/SBS (which Id never even heard of before)---all for the first time ever---and that too because of an Indian Television show. All manner of things which I never thought possible. Just never imagined a show could make such an impact on me at such a level. Not to that extent anyway!

All because of a Zee TV Show called Pavitra Rishta. And a new, young couple--Arjun and Purvi. ARVI. I dont know if it is the chemistry of the 2 young actors, Rithvik and Asha, their obvious comfort level with each other, or what they represent- a young couple of todays world, or what it is? An arrogant, spoiled NRI boy and a fiesty, yet simple middle class Indian girl. But they touched my heart. And the heart of many others as well.

Ive attached a copy of the article I wrote..with some minor changes...to kind of show you just who Arjun and Purvi are and what they mean to us. When you created them, and particularly those 2 actors to play them, it really was a winner. They are just so real. With their fights, mistakes, misunderstandings, yet funny times and deep, deep love and passion for each other.

See it is not about the story or track. It is Rithvik and Asha. They are Arjun and Purvi. See, even if ARVI would reunite and we had the best track ever for them it wouldnt matter. If Rithvik was replaced by another actor as Arjun, opposite Asha/Purvi, or Asha was replaced by another actress as Purvi- opposite Rithvik/Arjun, it simply wouldnt be the same. The 2 of them simply set the screen on fire.

Now the future story track pairs them with other people. Not just as it pertains to the other characters in terms of the show- but to other actors. And no, it is not the same. Though both are doing a great job in their portrayal of their respective roles, and making every effort to do their job, you get the feeling that there is something missing.

Rithvik/Shruti and Shakti/Asha simply do not have that type of explosive chemistry. So it is nowhere near the same. It is very simple really. That kind of chemistry we only see with Asha and Rithvik----much like Ankita and Sushant---and we want to see them back together. And all the emotions, intensity, chemistry, and hilarity they bring out in each other is such a treat to watch. Balaji and Zee truly hit a homerun with this pairing.

It's not about blasting the track, story, or show...we want to just see these two be ARVI again. We want to laugh with them, cry with them, get angry with them and have the fun of watching them go through life together- and all its ups and downs.

Thank you again for bringing them to us, and its my sincere hope that we get to see them back together to rock the show, Zee, and my TV screen again!!

Sincerely,
Archana

Hi Archana,
Welcome back to the forum, good to hear from you ,lovely and fabulous post .the way you have chosen each word for ARVI/Ashvik have just come from your heart which i can see.
I agree to each and every word of yours ,thanks to you to for the posts as i am not so good at putting my thoughts the way you did.I pray ZEE tv/BAlaji should read and rethink about the future track .. i don't how much they are going to pay attention to our pleas...
CVs have butuchered ARVI character in the name of their trps, business ,money ,stretching the track .
Such wonderful actors, Rithivik and Asha who for even a two line dialogue scene give so much importance/energy/life to it ,as if it is some yash chopra's bollyhood film scene...which is just an ekat's Serial. I totally agree with you that no other actor would have done justice to the role of Arjun and Purvi .they have made Arjun and Purvi real for the viewers.I do not watch any other serial ,
this devinly magical couple have made me crazy about them.i have stopped watching PR,but only watch ARVI scenes online after reading updates from forum members.
even a little news about Ashvik/ARVI makes my day.
As you also know Archana ,in this country life is mechanical ,the routine is monotonous, less of socializing ,but last year after watching Arvi /Ashvik scenes a day kept me smiling evreryday and got me going ! they became a part of my everyday life .ITs hard to forget them.

a sincere request for CVS ,pls do not side line these actor Rithvik who is a versatile in acting .
His skills will go waste .Asha and Rithvik's talent should be used to portray the beautiful relationship ,.they are good at what doing now but with zero chemistry with the respective spouse.

Such a splendid and heartfelt post Archana- well done!!👏
You have stated what all the Arvi fans have been feeling, going through- that I don't need to say much more. But you are so right- what Rithvik and Asha have brought to PR as Arjun and Purvi- no one else can!! These two share such chemistry, bonding, understanding & comfort level on and off screen that they are unparalleled!! If Rithvik and Asha were to be replaced as Arjun and Purvi - I simply wouldn't care whether they reunite or not BUT Rithvik and Asha are the ones who have given life to Arjun and Purvi and who have won our hearts with their brilliant acting and marvellous chemistry!!
I don't get why Zee and BT can't see this- Arjun/Ovi and Onir /Purvi couples cannot create the same life and energy in the show as does ArVI- PR is simply dead without them!! I hope that Zee and BT listen to all our pleas- respect our emotions and give us what we ask for- Reunite ArVi and show them raising their child/children together and fighting all of lifes ups and downs together with their mutual, pure and true love!!
