Aw, my fam lives in LA too- almost in heart of LA- a little less then 15 mins from LAX .
There's a street named Little Bangladesh there- found that to be quite funny :P
i think roopchanda is mermaid? i mean, my mom's always saying "i made roopchanda maas (fish) for dinner". My hindi is better than my bangla at times lol

@Eshu- No kidding. I live like 5-10 minutes away from LAX. My parents work there. Hmm, I've heard of Chinatown, Little Tokyo, Korea town, Olvera Street, Iittle India, but never Bangladesh. I must see it. 😆

No joke, my mom's aunt & uncle lives like 10-12 mins away from LAX. theyre professors at a college right around the corner or so- cant remember the name :((
