~Part 3~

Purvi thought for one moment and said……

Purvi: Fine!

Arjun: I knew you would say that, after all who can refuse me!

Purvi: I can and I did! If I am listening to your crap now, it's only because of my mother or else I would not even be friend with you, and yeah, don't think that your charms works on me?

Arjun: Oh, you think I care about what you think of me, well I absolutely don't peanut!

Purvi: STOP WITH THIS PEANUT THING, OK! I ABSOLUTELY HATE IT!!!!

Arjun: Oh, and I thought you loved eating peanuts!

Purvi: Please don't make me hate you more than I do! Purvi said that and cut the phone, afraid that the Romeo will notice her sad and depressed voice. The treacherous tears made their way down her cheeks, but she didn't stop them right now…..she didn't need to stop them……Nobody was watching her, so what was the need to hide them! Yes,Purvi was crying…..The STRONG Purvi was crying!...Crying at her fate……crying for herself…..letting out all the frustrations…….letting all the emotions flow away……

She couldn't understand how could people take advantage of one person's vulnerability and use that to blackmail them, but she was right about Arjun! He was ne arrogant, spoilt brat who would never understand the feelings of other's! How could she even expect him to understand her, he has not gone through all the crap she had gone through! And now she has to pretend to be his girlfriend! Why is life so unfair at me?

Purvi wiped the tears, got freshed, put a fake smile on her face and went to have dinner! After dinner, Purvi went directly to bed skipping her daily ritual of revisions. She felt too tired today, totally drained out!

The next morning!

Purvi took her bag, kissed her mother and got out of the house to make her way to the university! She was on her way to the bus stand when she heard "Peanut", she turned around but could see no one expect a big black car! Obviously, the car couldn't be calling her! She turned around and continued her walk- what the hell,Purvi, you are even hearing that Romeo's voice! It's not like he is your real boyfriend and come to pick you at your house and drop you at the university….What are you???Disney land Princess! As she continued to walk, she heard "Peanut" again, she turned around, and this time, she saw Arjun standing by the side of his car! Arjun marched towards her and said;

Arjun: Can't you hear I was calling you?

Purvi: I heard, but I thought that I am having nightmares in the broad daylight!

Arjun: Nightmares?

Purvi: Hearing your voice is not what I would call a dream, so it's obviously a nightmare!

Arjun: Listen, am not here to listen to your stupid talks, and……..

Purvi cuts in and said: Then, who is stopping you? Go away from here! It's not like I am holding your hands!

Arjun: Oh, shut up! See, when we will go to college everybody will already know that we are in a relationship, so we will…

Purvi(cuts in): Excuse me, we are not in a relationship, we are pretending to be in a relationship!

Arjun: Can you stop interrupting me when I am talking? So, yeah, I was saying all of my college friends will ask how we met and fell in love so we will have to make up a story to tell them!

Purvi: Fine!

Arjun: Come in the car, we will discuss it in our way to school!

Purvi: No, I am not going to go into your car! Whatever you have to say, say it here! I won't come with you!

Arjun : Purvi, if talk here, we will be late, and I don't want to be late because of you! So, stop arguing and go and sit in the car!

Purvi realized she that had no argument to throw back at him, so she walked quietly towards his car!

Arjun: Hey, where do you think you are going? Am not your driver, ok? So sit in front!

Purvi went and sat in the car, whilst Arjun sat on the driver's seat and start his car!

Arjun: So, what should we tell them, I mean our love story!

Purvi: How about we tell them that you were stalking me for quite some years, so finally getting fed up of you and your puppy dog face, I finally took pity of you and accepted you as my boyfriend???

Arjun: Very bad idea, how about we tell them that you became so obsessed with me, that you decided to commit suicide and I TOOK PITY on you and made you my girlfriend!

Purvi: How about NO?

Arjun: Fine, we have to come on a mutual decision!

Purvi: Thank God you got some sense!

Arjun: Whatever!

Arjun and Purvi discussed about their pretentious love story and how they supposedly fell in love. They reached the University pretty soon. Purvi descended from the car and tried to move away from Arjun as quick as she could, but Arjun caught up with her and put his hands around Purvi's waist making the latter uncomfortable and making her have a tingling feeling in her stomach!

Arjun: Peanut, why are you running away from me!

Purvi: See, your chamcha's are coming!

Arjun: Be ready to act, Peanut!

Friend 1: Hey Arjun, we just came to know about you and Purvi! It's not even one day you had a break up and already one girlfriend on your sleeves!

Purvi glared at Arjun, who quickly handled the situation by saying;

Arjun: Oh no, She is the reason I broke up with Ovi, so she is not like my other girlfriend, she is very special!

Purvi looked at Arjun, and she didn't know why but she felt that the last part of the sentence came from his heart…..she felt a kind of warm feeling enveloping her….'special' he said, she wanted to believe him for once!

Friend 2 (he was in the coffee shop): How do you call him Purvi, Cupcake right?

With that, all started laughing except Arjun!

Purvi: No, not Cupcake, but I call him bitter gourd Cupcake, suits his character, u know!

Her comments made Arjun's friend laugh more with Arjun blushing a little!

Friend 1: Oh look, The Arjun Kirloskar is blushing!

The group continued to laugh at Arjun's state, and that was when Purvi noticed Riya standing a little away from her, hands on the hips ready to show Purvi a reality check!Gosh, I guess I talked a little too much yesterday! Well, good for you Purvi Deshmukh, that serves as a great lesson! Purvi thought with a sigh!!!
