They did that in Parichay . They used the character of Abhay Deewan to bring together Kunal Siddhi then suddenly in one episode they turned him into a psychopath .

masti i agree with u that since Oi never witnessed a mom's love she does not know what the bonding is about and searches for love outside , like friends and Arjun .

Varsha and Kalapi ...now to somehow get ARVI together the butchering of all characters will start . Ovi was no Teju but she did not drink . She was not a devi but she was not bad . Yet they have started tarnishing her ...i hope they don't do the same to Onir . I always said Onir would hae been the perfect calming influence on Ovi but each time she shouldn't get Purvi's left overs , thats so not fair .

I agree with you totally that to glorify Purvi and Arjun, the Cvs are going to vilify Ovi. They already have started by showing Ovi has taken to alcohol. Funny, they never showed her drinking alcohol till now, even though she is Canadian raise, raised in a country where drinking alcohol isn't a taboo.

But, the question, I have is whether the Indian audience will accept such exchange between sisters of the only man possible on planet earth, even if Purvi was preggo by Arjun before marriage (I mean middle class society don't even now look kindly to such acts). So, ev en if they vilify Ovi to the max, even then this exchange become disgusting. Even if they show Purvi married had sex and then gave Arjun up, it only blackens her character more – I mean the only way to me is Ovi dying during Childbirth…and then there is Onir. Do you think with all the complication, a conservative Indian audience accepts Arvi now…they might watch till the union but will move away? Beside, the theme has become too adult in my opinion, so watching with kids around questionable – don't you think?

I mean Archana did a lot of foolish things as you say, but the story wasn't this disgusting ever, most people could sympathize with all characters to an extend even at its height of Shravani triangle….this is now beyond ridiculous, in my opinion…what do you think…

A small correction. @blue. He does call her Purvi when the two of the get back from Kalighat, and the compounder is still there, and informs Dr.Onir that the accident patient (Arjun) is waiting for him in his clinic. He says to her then "Purvi, you had wanted to meet that patient, so come along now and meet him".

Mishti is obviously his pet name for his darling wife; as he seems to care so much for her, he calls her Mishti, meaning 'sweet'.

As for the rest, I am terminally confused and would prefer to wait and watch.. Meanwhile, the only person I worry about now is Dr.Onir, and the only person for whom I feel very, very sorry is poor Arjun.

Sanskaari Purvi has lied to both her mom and new husband . She has hidden from her mom that she is pregnant with jeeju's baby and told her briefly that she is doing a job in Kolkata . She has not even forwarded her address to mom who adopted her in the Baba's absence, took panga with full sasural for her sake for fixing her shaadi and dissuades her mom from phoning .

She seems to have lied to her decent husband about her identity too ...he calls her Mishti and not Purvi .

shyamala if that is so , i stand corrected . Even style pointed it out to me . But i honestly thought it was a blooper like the no baby bump one day and the baby bump on the next day . As far as Purvi's reactions go she seems very content and bissfully married and pouts like a happily married woman and the next moment remembers Arjun while making the amazing chai . I find it super confusing 😕

Archana going to Kolkata with Ovi is just to find where abouts of Purvi...If she was that concerned about Ovi she should have gone along with them to Doctor to get her checked out...Until than I would not have left my daughter's site...

Varsha even i found sending Ovi off with Arjun and wandering off to find Purvi's address won't look at all good for Archana

Kool, not only the sakha pola is overdone, did you see her wearing the 'loha'…I was looking for it yesterday…Ekta is creating her standards of Pativatra, I guess…

Not only that, the sequence of Durga puja rites were so messed up by our Bond babu…Dhunuchi dance, sindoor kela and visarjan…I am guessing Ovi and Purvi will meeting during Sindoor kela 😉in front of morality personified...
