I actually watched the show today for the first time since the leap. I didn't see anything immature in Ovi's behaviour today that warranted Onir calling her a petulant child.

And I found it so revolting when Arjun was shown remembering taking off Purvi's bangles and then he goes to take off Ovi's. That was truly disgusting.

Archana and Purvi scene was so dragging. All Archana could say was " you hurt ME" and " How could you do this to ME?"

Yeah Ovi is ill but not bed-ridden and she has Arjun with her. So that excuse for not going to see Purvi's home and husband was so ridiculous. Any normal mother would have rushed to meet the husband and ensure her daughter was living in a safe place. Heck even insist on finding out his name and where they met. But not dear Archu. She is a mother of a different breed altogether.

Actually, I could love to see that with attention Ovi changes and overcome her bitterness. It will be nice to see, that couple can move on from their past, that love can and do happen after marriages, as is attested in the lives of so many Indians who had/have an arrange marriage. I want the story to show that love is over-rated and many things are needed to make a marriage successful. See, the Indian concept of marriage, is anyway, marrying one's family...I want to see this, instead of the gisha pita one dimensional 70s/80s love story, that bores me silly

hahaha ya tai your so right. it is ttly ghisa pita love story. they make it seem like all the young generation cares about is having intense love stories, getting into trouble and happily ever afters. its UNREALISTIC. arrange marriages or just marriages where both partners are not happy about the marriage is still is a big part of our culture's reality. they either idealise it with super traditional and 'sanskari' people in arrange marriages- where the wife calls her husband aap and stays up every night hungry waiting for him to come home and makes big balidans for her in laws all the time OR its like the worst thing ever. its niether of those. im half english on my dad's white, grew up in London so safe to say i dont come from a very traditional family. i had an arranged marriage cos my ajubaa wanted it for me-not the mess that was my parents and he liked shiv my husband. it had nothing to do with ishq vishk and its been three years...its going strong. and i definitely dont wait up hungry for shiv if he is too late or constantly massage my MIL's feet. why would i? i have school and kids and i actually enjoy my in laws companionship- there is never any bickering or big balidans. its all so silly. but as far as arjun and ovi go, as much as i wud love to see it work, it wont. either ovi will find out about purvi tmrw and go crazy or arjun will pull away from her even more now that purvi is close to him. sad. 😔

I know how Arjun touched Ovi and got her pregnant .

In the darkness , without seeing her face [ thats a very very strict requirement for a pavitra tyaag] imagining all the time it was Purvi with whom he was doing the ...er ...karma .

While doing this sort of pavitra tyaag its even permissible to have a few shots of hard liquor to fortify the nerves .

Then u gotta imagine its the ex. [ its a MUST requirement .]

Then u gotta check with the wife if its her ovulation day so that the pavitra tyaag is a one time thing only and need not be repeated .

Then u impregnate the wife and when her pregnancy test comes positive whoosh ! u heave a tremendous ,tearful sigh of relief and immediately retire to a private corner and think of ur ex and tell her that according to her noble instructions u have done it ! Yes , u have done ' Pati ka Farz !''

[ Btw this is a good title if they want to rename the show . I had suggested ' Pavitra test ' now i suggest this .]

Then good pati Arjun realised about the other half of the ' Pati ka Farz' . U gotta give the wifey the basic necessities with regularity and attention ! U gotta provide and how ! U gotta provide in such a way that the wifey quite forgets that she was getting all this in her rich dad's house ! U gotta be one up on ur sasur in this one !

And all the time u must be revolted by the impregnated wifey and loyal to ur ex in ur thoughts ...constantly u must think of that pavitra roadside shaadi !

Btw teju ur aazuba is a doll and has ur best interests at heart .😊

Roshogullas ! Arjun Arjun run behind the tram no ! Wheee! Such fun na sitting in a tram ! And u looked so funny huffing and puffing behind it !In ur professional blazer too !

Has Onir seen that divine roop , I wonder .

the serial till now has shown Purvi innocent like a kid 😉 not Ovi

Ovi was anything but an inocent kid remember😉

so Dr Onir's deduction was puzzling to me

maybe Purvi hasn't shown him her full baby roop

she showed him only a jhalak by pouting that his patients were more important than her

not demanded puchkas gajras and roshogullas by pointing fingers and making him stop cars

masti regarded it as a pregnant woman's cravings [ and Purvi is really pregnant] but i regard it as the baby roop a woman puts on when she decides to pocket a man .

Dear men ! Such naive creatures that way .
