Before Arjun was the only one we could see was truly broken but today I saw that Purvi was also internally broken and that she was heartbroken that she had to make Arjun promise her such things.. The worse thing is that Purvi felt as if it would be better for everyone without her..😭 That really hit my heart... She gave up everything for this family even if it meant leaving them...

But Imm glad she is away.. She wont have Ovi their to slap her..

Now that she is away, hopefully Ovi has no issues. But lets see. Like @Pancham said - we might very soon see that when it comes to Ovi, it is a trust issue and not Purvi. There is no cure for mistrust and misunderstandings. The other person can give 100 explanations, what is the point when the person cannot accept/believe/trust that. They need to change. We will see if Ovi has changed or still the same.

@bold: I saw this in Ash's original post too.

You guys are right when you say that Purvi's cannot bear to see the pain in Arjun's eyes. But that is not what she says.

She says - Arjun, you will not be able to see me going so please close the eyes. (She is thinking abt his pain, not her pain. There is a difference and I thought I will write that out.).

So I cried my heart out watching Arjun and Purvi scene.. I felt very bad for Purvi today esp. after what she said to Archana that she is not able see Arjun with anyone else. Today;s episode gave some clarity.. Atleast Purvi will not be belittled by Punni or Ovi from Monday and I want to see her new life, new challenges and I do want to see how Arjun handles Ovi. Hope she doesn't move to another Kolkata chawl..Let Dr. Onir keep her in paradise..

I have no complaints on Arjun &/or Purvi from today's episode.

Purvi was going to walk away silently, but it was Arjun who calls her to talk further. I thank the CVs for that bit. Otherwise, if Purvi directly barged out and "talked" to Arjun, the blame would have landed on her.

As I have been saying from last 3 days, Purvi's sacrifice would be meaningless if it didn't go all the way. She had to say what she did. Arjun loves Purvi and Purvi definitely loves Arjun. With that 'right' is why she begs him to do what she wants him to and since Arjun respects her sacrifice is why he accepts to do it. Arjun sums it up very well in the end to Ovi - Give the marriage a chance, we need to do it for our family's sake. That is what Purvi wanted, for the family's sake. Otherwise Purvi would have been slandered forever. (So, no, Ash, I didn't laugh, not any where in the epi today. It was all out emotional one, nor did I get angry at anyone. I do see the bad in Ovi, but I hope she learns a lesson.)

If there was no Ovi, who could come and put such a condition, Purvi wouldn't have done this. Ever. And like Archana says, even I wouldn't have been able to do such a sacrifice.

Whether Purvi loves Arjun or not, was made very clear when she confesses to Archana in the end.

Coming to Ovi -

Because Arjun declared in front of entire family that he loves Purvi, she felt humiliated?

Then, how could she not see and accept that truth and let him go, since he declared in front of the whole family and also since she disclosed in front of the family that he doesn't sleep with her? What more reasons she needed to realize it is she who wants him forcefully when the person doesn't love her?

Did she think the day he married her, he automatically started loving her? How? Is that what happened with her when he declared that he loved Purvi instead in front of the whole family back then?

As for the performances - Rithvik all the way! No one could anyone else come close to his acting. (Yes, that is strictly my opinion! And no this is no comparison. I hope it is respected and no ruckus are created over it. Tired of giving justifications off-late.)

My heart went out for both Purvi and Arjun, but today more for Arjun. This was only bcos of the way Rithvik portrayed Arjun's pain, devastation and helplessness.

2 more bits where I would like to thank the CVs:

1. The part where Purvi wants him to close the eyes, bcos she feels that Arjun wouldn't be able to bear her going away. [Even at that moment, Purvi is thinking abt Arjun more than herself.]. That was very touching and BEAUTIFUL.

2. For making Purvi utter that She couldn't bear to see him with anyone else. That was again intelligently done to convey the immense love she has for him. [This was very very required to be conveyed to the viewers.]

I was very SATISFIED with today's episode. Kudos to CVs for closing one chapter. It was mixed bags emotions. Very much looking forward to the next episodes.

The best part for me - Even thought Arjun & Purvi are separated in today's episode, bcos they are taking a leap of 6 months is how we will still see them in the next episode on Monday rather than not seeing them in episodes for entire 6 or so "PR serial" months. Gotten so used to them that, if I don't find them in even 1 episode, for me, it would be a dull one. So, I'm glad abt the leap.

I think Purvi's confession to Archana is the highlight of today's episode.. I think that diffused all our anger we had piled up..

The scene I liked the most.. When Purvi came very close to Arjun and asked him to close his eyes..after 2 requests..very softly she said "Mere liye"...and Arjun very slowly & with lot of hesitation closed his eyes.. I just couldn't control my tears at that moment. 😭
