Amazing post Ash!!! Well said and I think today's episode totally pulled at the heart strings of all us ARVIANs. Your summary of the emotions and sentiments is superb and very well written!! No doubt about that...All that we have been through for all these months- Purvi finally leaving...just the way it was done I think, judging from what I am reading, was superbly done. With all the right emotion, expression, and etc by our Jodi. Have yet to see the epi myself, so am not going to comment further than what I have just said.
That being said, because I have not seen the episode, I am going to do a factual and practical post based on what is written. Since I dont have any emotional angst right now, I am going to do this for all your sakes...and have not watched the episode on purpose for that reason---so I can just stick to the facts.
1) Purvi will be pregnant with Arjun's child. This is a confirmed fact.
2) We know they filmed in Kolkata---and Arjun will run into Purvi there.
So basically ARVI is not over. And I think Purvi being pregnant with Arjun's baby will play a very significant part in the storyline. If this is the end, then why bring in Kolkata scenes and Purvi pregnancy? If Arjun is meant to move on to a happy life with Ovi, coming bambino and all, then why this particular story line. Truth is it isnt over until its over.
As to Ovi and her pregnancy. Not sure and I cannot put my finger on it---but that SBS scene was very interesting. She was clearly not happy. And Arjun, upon seeing his pregnant wife sitting like that, did not ask her if she was ok or if anything was wrong. He looked at her, adjusted his cuff links and walked away.
The main story is starting Monday. Today's scene was meant to provide a backdrop, get us all worked up, and set the stage for Purvi's departure so the leap can take place. So that he can find her of course-----simple :)
One thing that is beyond my comprehension is what I keep hearing about the "new look" of Archana and Manav. Why is that? What new look? If only 6 months pass, what is the need to make them look older? There are so many middle aged parents with kids in their 20s that look quite young these days. Not sure what the CVs are trying to do here? Let Archana go back to wearing her usual saris (she actually really does look good in them) and let Manav stay the same. Exactly what are they trying to convey here is the one thing I dont get. Makes no sense. Oh yeah- we are talking about the PR CV team. Guess I just answered my own question.
