No, the reputation never is recovered for a girl in India. Even if a girl eloped and marries her lover, there is always a stigma towards her. I know a girl who eloped at grade 10, and then her marriage didn't work out. She was beautiful looking (my parents say her biggest curse), but after her divorce to her former hubby, she lived almost like a servant to her 2 older brothers and their wife. The mother slowly died, partly because it was so hard to accept her beautiful only daughter's fate. Finally, after about more than a decade, she was finally married off in an arrange marriage to a very ordinary guy…such is the fate...Love isn't a rishta, that is why when parents comes to know of such relationship they quickly move it into the legal status of a marriage….

I agree Ashi . Personally i want Ovi to divorce Arjun as she has public testimony that he still loves his ex . I want to see which court in the world will see 'divinity' in their love story . If you ask me Kool, and in keeping with Ovi's character, I want Ovi to sleep with Arjun and make him move on. Seriously, Arjun (and Purvi) should understand the importance of the Institution of Marriage. They have played with it long enough. I want Ovi to get preggers by Arjun and proudly display her tummy to the world. This is more in keeping with her characterization so far.

As, for Ovi divorcing Arjun, even if she does, could Purvi and Arjun be married without a whole lot of badnami that will follow them all their life and their kids, who will know, what their parents did from eager neighbors more than happy to supply those details. I have seen a wife having an extramarital affair with her hubby's BF and then divorcing her formal husband. They moved back to India, and guess what everyone knows their juicy story…yes, for once Cvs show us some reality, instead of making a mockery of a very real situation that is actually not rare at all..

Some of us tink that Purvi and Arjun have played with the institution of marriage long,I beg to differ the truth is these games start when Ovi put forth the they didn't have to agree but both Purvi and Arjun became players.I don't feel sorry for she asked to marry de man and she did but still ain't happy whose fault is it that de man ain't love she,he never did and the truth.Let's see Ovi pregnant with Arjun child and proudly showing her tummy if its his she has that rite but that won't mean he'll love her,he'll definitely love that child cause its his.This marriage is where it is because of Purvi stupid decision to let her sis take her love and Ovi ability to be easily influence by her cousin PUNNI.Finally the precap many tink Arjun is gonna listen to Purvi,he just mite say no which leads Purvi to the decision to leave town

I absolutely loved Ovi today! She spoke the evident truth which Purvi and Arjun will deny for sure, as they have been doing. Arjun has made things hard for Purvi by claiming in front of all that he still loves Purvi. Way to go Arjun! Now he can rest easy knowing he practically destroyed her life (that's if Purvi hasn't destroyed her life all on her own). I know there are plenty of people who are joyous that Ovi was slapped by Arjun, but I think Ovi deserves the standing ovations for speaking the truth. It may be the ugly truth, but it was a necessary truth. Why does Purvi constantly keep contacting Arjun for every thing that happens? Why Arjun? Why doesn't she call up her parents? They are worried about the same thing, why bring in Arjun? All this just to have poor Ovi slap Purvi in public and then have Prince Arjun slap her in public and claim in front of all that he still loves Purvi! Most people will sympathize with Purvi, but Purvi doesn't deserve sympathy in my opinion. She brought it onto herself. And if she goes crying and thinking "I have always wanted the best for Ovi, why does she not understand?" then I think I'll go kill Purvi. If she truly wants the best for Ovi, she should leave Ovi and Arjun alone. Yes she will still meet Arjun now and again because he's her jeeju and he's bound to show up in these family gatherings (if he hasn't thought up an excuse to not be seen with Ovi at these events), but she should maintain her decency and not go beyond the bounds of jeeju-saali relationship.

Ovi isn't happy with her man, because she believes that her man is trying to move on, but her sister isn't letting him. The emotional leash is that strongly controlled by the girl/Saali in this case that Arjun has become a puppy. Love isn't a 'relationship' rather 'marriage' is that arises from love is that 'rishta' – marriage establish a couple in a society as husband and wife. Without that sindoor, a woman becomes a keep, a mistress. There lies the importance of marriage. As for Ovi's and Purvi's child by Arjun, well one is called "legitimate' and the other 'illegitimate' and with that 'legitimate' child of Ovi not only controls Arjun but the Kirloskar Kandaan….simply that…..marriage is that powerful institution and at this point it is immaterial if it was Ovi's fault to begin with – at this point all fault sadly lies with Purvi's the girl in an illegitimate 'relationship' (true or not immaterial at this point also) and Arjun, the Jeeju here – although in most cases, if wife forgives and turns a blind eye towards his infidelity, he comes out fairly less burnt…

Btw…Shruti was fabulous in today's episode….she had really brought out all the frustrations of a wife being cheated by her sister and husband👏👏….and Manav was totally and sad a sad example of a parent , and Savita – well, I wish she had some fire left in her😔

great job kools...i wish ovi had slapped arjun and purvi both also...or I wish I could slap arjun...

that actress playing Ovi is just sickning and hopeless... she always crying and stuttering .she has such an irritating voice...she is annoying...but then again these forums are fillppl only with college people who seems very immature or young adults who still stuck in ther teenage age..there is no maturity anongst some of the posters inside of here...some of the comments are beyond logic and pure nonsense.one setta a lil boys and girls who have nothing better to do than be on these forums.. ppl only identify with a characreter coz its a reflection of themselves..wats her ranking?? she won any awards?? was she nominated for any awards??? but yet she fabulous..

Awards don't always determine the caliber of an actor. And most of the awards on Indian TV are biased anyways.
