Hmm'And right now, I see Purvi as the homebreaker not Ovi'was Arjun and Purvi married that Ovi came in between. No, I don't think that is the storyline so far. Besides, shouldn't Purvi be considered the one who took her sister's fianc, wasn't Ovi/Arjun rishta already arranged. And btw, arranged marriages works perfectly'.great examples are all abound in the country that this serial is telecast.
I am sure that Purvi also needs a man'I guess the question is, if she needs a Jeeju😃..As for Arjun, I do feel that his growing up without probably a strong family and without a mother resulted in such a weak character of a man, that he can't even apply for a divorce'my POV, of course..Anyway, so why is Arjun not divorcing Ovi and marrying Purvi, as some member said 'before zooming off into the sunset''couldn't that be a better option than getting a saali preggers'is that a sign of true pavitra, divine, heavenly and Godly love'.impregnated by Jeeju'looking at jeeju chup ke chupke'come on Arjun and Purvi either divorce Ovi or just zoom off'.I could like both storyline😉'that will only add more masala for me'
Oh Btw, if I was able to amuse you😃'.am so glad'forum should be for entertainment only😃'.
Kalapi, I find most posts amusing on this forum so I do get entertained plenty, but it does raise a lot of queries about things too. My point is the same as yours that I do not understand why Arjun-Purvi are behaving like idiots and letting this saga continue. ( Ofcourse, CV's are the real game changers here). Arjun SHOULD divorce Ovi. If he cannot find love in this marriage ( which I hope he never does) then he should opt out of it for the sake of both of them ( Ovi and him). Your point about Arjun growing up as a weak man is excellent. I agree each of them have a certain background that adds to their personalities and the way their mind works. Purvi has a superimposed debt like feeling towards her mother ( which is evident when she repeatedly thanks her for having given her a life and blah blah), and yes it is more than her love for Arjun.
In the beginning, it was evident in every episode that she avoided Arjun like the plague. He kept pursuing. She was in love with him ( how much in relation to her love for her mother, I don;t know), but yes she DID love him. Human beings are fallible and being young that she is ( although she thinks she is a grandma), she is prone to certain errors. The man she loved is going on reminding her about their past, keeps telling her he loves her, cannot forget her, and she does live in close vicinity to him. They bump into each other ( thanks to CV's) everywhere. It is hard to keep running away from these things. ( If this was reality, I bet that the woman would have caved in to a physical moment with the man, which is the reality these days in India, no holds barred system of not having a button for your physical or emotional needs).
It is indeed pulling at her heart to stop herself from giving into Arjun. She is trying hard and it is evident. I give her some leeway for making the halwa if people think it was for Arjun. she wasn't trying to snag him, it was probably her way of saying sorry or simply that she knew he liked halwa and served him that. Nothing wrong with either.
Ovi has all the points to account for that you have pointed out in various posts. Her lack of love from mother, her being dumped by Arjun, her mother shoving Purvi's wedding in her face, a lot accounts for Ovi's state of mind too. Each one of the three is wronged in more ways than one, mainly by the elders who ran PR for 3 years before. :P So I think each one of them is getting what they deserve for being stupid. Purvi is obviously not WITH arjun so that's not a happy life either. Ovi is in a loveless marriage. Arjun is stuck in a quandary without any option. I say this because Arjun is not a villain on this show or a self-centred man. He is weak and flawed in more ways than one. Arjun doesn't want to divorce Ovi because he knows the ramifications on the families. Somewhere he knows it isn't right to give up after having made the decision. ( His questions to Purvi about what she wants him to do baffle me though) Same time, he isn't able to forget Purvi. He is finding it hard to love Ovi, after knowing her disregard for his feelings when making the deal. He isn't looking at Purvi's disregard for his feelings either. If I were him, I would dump both. Ofcourse, all 3 kids have an option for solutions but alas, they are not looking for a solution, it seems.
@bold- when you say Ovi is not the homebreaker because Arjun-Purvi were not married, then how did Purvi ever wrong Ovi by being in love with Arjun and carrying it on? Arjun-Ovi were not married either. It boils down to the same thing. I am not saying anything against arranged marriages, ofcourse they work. And my point is not that marriages should be taken lightly in the game of love and keep that as focus of your life either.
If you saw Kabhi Alvida na Kehna ( giving movie refrences because it's easier), I truly felt bad for Preity Zinta and Abhishek's characters. They did nothing wrong, and yet their spouses cheated and dumped them, after having made promises of marriage and love. They both tried to work on their marriages, were in it for the right reasons and cared about their spouses to a deep extent. But, if Ovi had complete disregard for Arjun's feelings when making the deal, I am not at all for this marriage to work. I do not support Arjun-Purvi if this were real life either. I would expect all 3 to separate and find a new life and start over. I like the actors that play Arjun-Purvi and their chemistry and that is why I root for them beyond all logic since CV's don't seem to make this show based on logic. But, in reality this is unacceptable and so is Arjun-Ovi marriage working out.
Marriage doesn't have to work even though there is no love. Maybe this is the 21st century thinking because that is what we see around us. I feel if you entered into a marriage with an open heart and mind and with a resolve to learn to like and love the person, things can work out even between polar opposites. That is the reason arranged marriages work. But if your basis for marriage is completely wrong, well, that kind of marriage doesn't.
As far as getting his saali preggers, they had pre-marital sex a day before their wedding ( if it's the hut scene that led to it), which I do not think is wrong. my POV. The fact that Purvi dumped him after that, is wrong.
Purvi does leave the city and marries Dr. Onir ( if reports are true), which does mean she goes away from Arjun's life to let him be with Ovi. In no way is that the nature of a woman trying to entice her jeeju into illicit relationship by making halwa or anything else.
