Ovi does not loves either her parents or even Arjun .If she loved Manav then she would have wanted Archana back in the family for her daddy's happiness which she clearly does not gives two hoots about In my opinion she also does not loves Arjun because she knows how unhappy he is still she is OK with it and wants him to learn to live with this weather he likes it or not ..
Ovi only loves herself and no one else .👎🏼
This whole love triangle is simply disgusting and is going to get worse ...🤢

^ While I do agree to some of you points, I'd like to bring up something. I don't think Ovi owes Archana ANY courtesy. I found it weird that Ovi-Teju were at some point feed off her hand. She did not do anything for them.

In fact, since we're talking about the subject of life, how much does Archana give importance to Ovi's life. The very same day she heard about Ovi's suicide attempt, she went on to throw Purvi and bash AND insisted Manav to be there as Purvi's father. How would anyone feel about this situation? It's like Ovi's life meant nothing at all to her family. It didn't stop Archana or Sulochona in shoving the wedding invitation cards in Ovi and her family's faces. Even on Arjun-Purvi's wedding night itself, she was going to kill herself which should show you how much hurt she was from the situation.

I don't think Ovi owes any courtesy to Archana either. I said she should have known why her father was willing to help out. And now that I remember, Manav decided to help Purvi only because he felt guilty that they picked her up instead of him. He simply did not want someone else to die because of him, so in no way was this about Archana, even though he was awfully pained at her misery.

Ovi's life has meant nothing to Archana and that I agree. I was against the whole wedding being shoved into her face also. There was never any time given for Ovi to get back to normal. And there was no need for such a quick wedding right after his engagement broke off with Ovi. All this was highly abnormal and really not alright on Archana and Sulo's part who claim to love Ovi. It was absolute disregard. Ovi was wronged on many levels, but mainly by Arjun. He fell in love with someone else, he broke off the engagement, he gave her false promises and he ultimately did not care about her broken heart or her suicide attempt. But Ovi cannot blame Arjun because she is in love with him and her every living moment is spent in being scared of losing him.

That does not mean she starts blaming Purvi for all that went wrong in her life. And my only concern was, that justifying Ovi as a nice girl who was ready to let Purvi die, and obviously does not love Arjun enough to see above herself was weird. I will not justify any character on this show, Arjun-Purvi or Archana-Manav because I know where they all made their mistakes. But when people justify Ovi against all odds, it makes me want to point the picture squarely. :)

^ I think people have been more adamant in bringing out Ovi's good points because the so-called bad things she does is blaring obvious. When one plays Ekta's "good" music to show affection, goodness, everyone gobbles it up. But Ovi is made out to be 100% bad. NO ONE on this show is faultless. The difference is, some of the character's misdeeds have been sweeped under the rug.

Haven't read the whole thread, just this last page; but this I will agree with. No positive characters in this show, just different shades of grey-and Ovi is not simply "nice" because there's no standard of decency especially in this show. Instead, she's just as "nice" as the other characters on the show. Purvi is also nice, as well as Arjun n everybody else in their own way. However, I do prefer Ovi's brand of niceness and meanness to Purvi's or anybody else's; just because she's so brutally honest that you know what you get without being blindsided; unlike with the other characters who sweet-talk their way into getting what they want and you're then left to try and understand just what happened. She's also the most real character written on this show-ever, and more relatable than anybody else.

Coming to Ovi blaming just Purvi, I don't think that's completely true. She's also told Arjun several times, most recently her intention to do so in the most recent episode, that she does not like his meetings with Purvi-clandestine or not. If Ovi does tell something to purvi, she can and should reply instead of being shown demure and helpless when she's not. She also hasn't seeked Arjun out yet, so she's blameless so far--and she should assert it. If she had instead given it back to Ovi, it would be an even playing field and I would have liked her for it.

NNo question of 'justifying' her reaction to the kidnapping .

Plainly put , it was to me a very realistic reaction . We r so used to unrealistic reactions in PR , that anything with a dose of realism seems unpalatable to us .

I saw realism in her reaction deemed as inhuman by many . I even saw realism in the way Manav treated his mother on Ganpati day . His full wife's family was invited but not his sister and mom. That is so true ...that is exactly the way 70% sons in today's world behave . They dance on wife's tunes and try to impress mother in laws without understanding POV of mothers . Realism for u .

Arjun in that sense is very very realistic . Young men like him r naive , silly , trapped in what they consider 'love' in their immaturity , run after unworthy girls by ignoring the ones who will even lay down their life for them , r taken in by the hard to get aura and allow factors to control their life instead of controlling them themselves .

Damodar sadly is a reality . His alcoholism is real , his buttering up of the bahu is practical as he knows she will be the one in charge and the constant putting down of the wife in front of the bahu as now she has aged and is useless is very very real .

PR has its real points .

I clearly said that if DK was not volunteering to give the money , the humanity card had to be considered . Manav simply had to pay . No option there . But one does not have to like it . That payment can be done with a frown or unwillingly ...most people would not leave a chance to taunt Archana and say ...Now why do u need money . It is unimportant right . Go and tell the gundas about sanskaars . Free ur daughter superwoman .

Petty but real . I wish the money had been advanced after someone saying this .

Never said Ovi was a saint .Infact i like her coz she is no saint . She is just brutally honest .

Punni plays all ...she is a villain . But Purvi definetely played Arjun like a harmonica when she asked him to do something to 'prove love' . She is supposed to be the heroine not the villain right ?

If my post was amusing to some , ur welcome .😃

Ovi is nice gal,
varsha is best mother,
savita is dudh ki dhuli,
manjusha is sati savitri,
punni is bechari,
shravani is true lover,
rasika is real,

sorry if i missed any pavitra name.

Lets use the same logic of ovi and her gang. Even kasab was nice man and osama bin laden was sweet person. They r nt responsible for whtever happened becoz of them as they were insecure and jealouse. And features like insecurity jealousy r available in real people. So they were real and those who r against them are artificial and fake..
