What is wrong with being Sanskaari? Well, for one, you get all walked over on!

Purvi is not looking for a Mahaan status nor is she looking to get a Medal of Honor. She is looking to reunite a family member.
It was Purvi who burned down an important contract file just so her Aai and Baba could spend time with each other. This is so much more important that that. Purvi is so focused on getting Soham back in the fold, she is willing to do anything! Even considers lying in court. But, she did not...instead she stuck to the truth. Everything she said was true.

Soham took care of her, when kidnapped
All the chance encounters with Arjun and Purvi were just that
Soham did run the gundaas off

The others are being shortsighted. They all need to realize the truth of Purvi's words. Soham is a part of the family, good or bad. He is being misled by his foster parents, for incredibly selfish reasons. He needs to see the Deshmukhs stand by him no matter what. Blood is thicker than water right?😉

All her life, she has seen her Aai sticking up for her, even in situations where she, Purvi, was wrong. Archana stood up to Manju, Arjun, Vinay's parents, Punni, Ovi...did I miss someone? This time around, a conflicted Archana has been forced to choose Manav, in large part due to Soham's very public shenanigans. She thinks maybe jail 'ki hawa' will reform him. Purvi stands alone in her convictions.

The naysayers say ...what about what she did to Arjun? Someone had posted that Purvi gave up the only thing that was truly hers as the ultimate sacrifice in face of the gratitude she feels.

The bigger question is why did Arjun say yes...especially when he is capable of saying no as evidenced today?!

The only answer that comes to mind is ...the show must go on...

Pancham, i agree with most all of your post... everything Purvi said was in fact true. I didn't like it that she asked Arjun to lie or even called him about this issue. But she herself testified correctly. I think that this "owing" relationship that she and Soham have...brother and sister loyalty in a strange setting... is something crucial to the story. Soham now owes her again. 😉

Perhaps when Balan tries to kill Archu, Soham will intervene and save her, going against, probably even fighting against Balan. It will be shocking to everyone if that should happen.

Where i disagree. Balan and Varsha aren't foster parents. They are two people, one of whom kidnapped someone else's child and PRETENDED to be the parent. That's all they are. Nothing more.
In Balan's "defense", though evil in other aspects, he was not then aware that Varsha had kidnapped the boy. He perhaps has murdered, done his own kidnapping however, but that's another story.

Loved today episode!

Umm Purvi was so 😡 today! If mahaan Archana is willing to testify against Soham and then why shouldn't she. She needs to realize that this is the only way to get through to Soham. I am glad that she didn't actually take his side but still I wanted to slap her today and tell her to wake up.
Overall good episode.

I cannot wait for Archana's testimony! The only testimony that is going to powerful and emotional and I really hope that they show Soham getting emotional during Archana's testimony. Also I hope Varsha and Balan also go to jail because they need to be punished for their crimes as well.

Yes, stand corrected on the foster part!
Regarding Balan , though...now that he is aware of the history he could do things differently...but that would mean having to give up a goose that lays golden eggs! There is no love on either Balan or Varsha's part, for Soham...
The only ones who care for Soham as a person in this whole convoluted tale are Archana and Purvi😕

😆 @ red. that's for sure...Vishnu lala is Balan's bread and butter.😕

I think that Savita and Sulo also care for him even now...it's kind of hard to know what to do, but Savita's advice was good. I am so happy to see a positive Savita. Makes the show so much more ejoyable and so nice for Archana to have her support.
I totally agree, neither Balan nor Varsha love Soham...only what he does for them - only for selfish reasons.

@bold...isn't it nice to have the elders in the house behave like they are s'posed to? That is inherently the difference between the way Savita is handling the situation, as you rightfully said, versus Purvi...who with a strong sense of black and white, which, looking at my daughter, is what youngsters do, is doing what she is.
