What is wrong with being Sanskaari? Well, for one, you get all walked over on!
Purvi is not looking for a Mahaan status nor is she looking to get a Medal of Honor. She is looking to reunite a family member.
It was Purvi who burned down an important contract file just so her Aai and Baba could spend time with each other. This is so much more important that that. Purvi is so focused on getting Soham back in the fold, she is willing to do anything! Even considers lying in court. But, she did not...instead she stuck to the truth. Everything she said was true.
Soham took care of her, when kidnapped
All the chance encounters with Arjun and Purvi were just that
Soham did run the gundaas off
The others are being shortsighted. They all need to realize the truth of Purvi's words. Soham is a part of the family, good or bad. He is being misled by his foster parents, for incredibly selfish reasons. He needs to see the Deshmukhs stand by him no matter what. Blood is thicker than water right?😉
All her life, she has seen her Aai sticking up for her, even in situations where she, Purvi, was wrong. Archana stood up to Manju, Arjun, Vinay's parents, Punni, Ovi...did I miss someone? This time around, a conflicted Archana has been forced to choose Manav, in large part due to Soham's very public shenanigans. She thinks maybe jail 'ki hawa' will reform him. Purvi stands alone in her convictions.
The naysayers say ...what about what she did to Arjun? Someone had posted that Purvi gave up the only thing that was truly hers as the ultimate sacrifice in face of the gratitude she feels.
The bigger question is why did Arjun say yes...especially when he is capable of saying no as evidenced today?!
The only answer that comes to mind is ...the show must go on...
