Dear Kools,

I missed adding a comment wrt @red yesterday. Yes, she does, except that she looks even more mulish now than at that birthday party over 19 years ago. That is probably because then, after the chawl fiasco, she might have felt a bit on shaky ground, but not so now. She is fair and square on terra firma and has got Manav on a string, so she can look as mulish as she likes.

Alas, none of the items in your wish list came true today - no Balan-Sulochana encounter, no slaps for Varsha, nothing. Nothing but an impromptu shraddh for Varsha as conducted by her mother.

This sort of melodrama is SOP in the Balaji productions, with the shraddhee being resurrected when the next twist calls for it, but the hatke part was that Sulochana conducted the shraddh using stuff from Varsha' s place, i.e, a borrowed shraddh. Undoubtedly a neat economy measure!

I think Archana is now moving to get Purvi married. And I was pleased to see the goggle-eyed cousin from DEK in his new incarnation as Teju's potential boyfriend.

What Teju needs is a close crop a la Audrey Hepburn, and NO switches. As she is now, she looks, to quote myself, like something Modigliani might have painted during a hangover.

👍🏼 For Varsha to ask Vinod why he had come then curtly if he was holding grudges and not letting bygones be bygones . She lost interest in hearing lectures long time back and i find this realistic .

Manju was right about not keeping any relation with Varsha .

Manju is conning Sulo again . Con, Con . Lage Raho . Purvi and Archana deserve it for inviting Vinod's family .

Manav signalled Teju to stay out . That this was strictly between the parents . Could not he tell the same thing to Teju when she went all judgemental on the grandma who raised her . He follows all honorable rules where Archana is concerned ...like private conversations and kids staying out ...are these not applicable where old persons r concerned .

Teju is given a miniscule role ...saying that he is a gunda and that the whole family is endangered . Made sense though .

Archana was elated and remembered that he was badtameez with all ...but not with her when he had visited their house . CVs r showing so wrong . He should be maximum badtameez with Archana coz she destroyed his life . Others tried to save him till the end like Manav . And hence i call Manav as the unnecessary buffer . This buffer is cleverly made by CVs so that Archana goes scot free .

Did her argument with Manav today remind anybody of the way she argued in the birthday party where she lost him .

I wish Varsha fires and fires Sulochana for being partial tomorrow . For once it should be the other way around .

Yes, of course, my dear Kools, but then they do NOT want to save our time, do they? That would drastically cut down the amount of telecast time they could dish out with no extra effort.

No to speak of the savings in set up costs if they do more and more of alternate monologues passed off as dialogues, in just 2 rooms. Actually, PR must be one of the most cost-effective serials that Balaji has ever produced. Two chawl set ups and a couple of streets and one highway, and a lot of talking heads, and they are done!

Finally, Manav must now be over 55, so maybe he has a knee problem and finds, as I do these days, that once he is on his knees, he cannot get up without supplementary motive power, and that would be most embarrassing, wouldn't it?

Dear Varsha,

Keep at it by all means, but if I were your husband, I would have said that it was all CGI, for Manav is so weedy-looking that I strongly doubt if he could carry even Archana.😉 It reminds me of the very old Dev Anand-Saira Banu film Pyar Mohabbat, during the making of which the hero apparently refused to carry the heroine (she was quite tall, and probably weighed about the same as he did), and they had to use trick shots with her being supported from below.

Recently I read the news of both the sisters Purvi- ovi getting preggos, is it true? If it is then I m expecting this track to happen. Ovi confronting Arjun for his deed 😆 n slapping him. It can happen twice also. Mayb one of those 2 sons of Ketki Dave in serial (dunno what her screename is) would be the love interest for her.

Btw i had read someone saying Arjun-Purvi loved each other for ages lol😆. Since when does knowing for 6 mnths & been in love for just 3 mnths is considered to be ages???😆
