The threat of a mental person threatening suicide is just as effective if not more than someone holding a gun. and i would like to say instead judging characters in the show in relation to someone else behavior, judge them on their own behavior and then say if they are wrong.

Pari, great point and will agree with your take that Ovi is "mental" and so cannot believe Arjun can love anyone other than her. Fine and dandy, but if she thinks Purvi was only a temporary distraction on Arjun's part and firmly believes the guy has eyes only for her, why then is Ovi now that they are married, hell bent on getting Punni involved in spying on Arjun and Purvi? She knows, you say, that Purvi chucked Arjun for her mother and allowed, nay, coerced Arjun into marrying Ovi. Why then does she suspect that Purvi and Arjun are carrying on behind her back? Arjun "willingly" married her, Purvi "willingly" gave him up, Ovi should be ecstatic she got what she wanted. Or did she further delude herself into thinking that just tying the knot would erase Purvi from Arjun's memory and heart? Arjun forgot all about Ovi, the minute he fell for Purvi, but unfortunately for Ovi, Ovi can never be his Purvi, nothing she does will turn back the clock where Arjun's heart and affections lie. Yes, he can be faithful to Ovi in body but never in mind. Ovi knew he did not love her going in to the marriage so it should come as no surprise that he still loves Purvi. Marriage is no magic wand to change the thinking of a person. Ovi was satisfied to own Arjun while laying no claim to his soul so she is now perturbed that what she believed was hers, his body, might be erring against her, hence her suspicion of his secret rendezvous with Purvi. She cares not for his heart, his feelings, his pain, all she wants to do is own him body at least, if not soul.
Yes, Arjun if he is smart would run from both girls, they are both at fault, they both do not love him the way he deserves to be loved. But then he should have been man enough and said no to Purvi and refused to marry Ovi, he didn't and he is stewing in a mess he helped create as well.

arjun very clearly stated to ovi in canada tht his work is more important. does tht show he is in love wt her. she was willing to b second in his life. so she knew tht he doesnt love her. as for purvi, arjun willingly gav up his job n company so tht shows he loves her extremely a lot. so ovi does not love him. he is juz something she wantd n got by makingthe deal. arjun did not two time ovi. they were nt even engaged.

Now my take on this is simply that when Arjun broke up with Ovi over Purvi, he never took time out to explain properly to Ovi his side of the story. People yelled at Ovi to understand and everyhing, but Arjun, the man responsible, did not once sit down with her, and explain to her lovingly and with care about his love for Purvi. Ovi is a mental health patient, according to me and no one has done enough to banish her idea that Arjun actually "only" loves her and Purvi was just a distraction. Now, she is married to Arjun, she very well knows Purvi threw him up for auction willingly because she loved her mother more. In this scenario, Ovi who thinks Arjun is only "infatuated" by Purvi, is trying her best to make this marriage work. I don't see anything wrong with that. And today, she seemed to not accept her own bio brother because he had shot her husband, Arjun. I think, she does love Arjun a lot, but is simply uncured like Varsha was, so she cannot get herself to accept that he will never love her back.

ovi is obsessed wt arjun. she juz wans him as she is deluded. purvi loves arjun but she believes her mom is important too n she cant live happily seeing her mum miserable. ovi does not care for anyone. she is juz concerned bout herself only.if she loves arjun she wud hav let him marry purvi. but its never too late for her to repent.
