Scenario Five : Sameer Rane part 4 page 5 - Page 3

Purvi continues to be adamant but eventually gives in to Sulo. She looks at Arjun. "I'm doing this for the sake of my parents. That's all. When I come there I expect you to be standing happily at Ovi's side. Is that clear?"

Arjun stares at her but says nothing. He simply smiles then he nods. He thinking that he'll get to see her and that is all that matters.

"Well it's settled then. I'll see you tomorrow. Aaji take care." He turns and leaves. He is thinking " Tomorrow is another day Purvi. I'll see you soon my love." He is eagerly awaiting this dinner party. He decides to call his dad and inform him of same. Having made the arrangements with his dad, he decided to return to the office. He had left earlier because he was feeling sick. It was a good thing one of his servants; Koondan had given him some medicine when he got home. Now he was feeling better.

Meanwhile back at Arjun's house.

Ovi is on the phone making preparations for tomorrow. She is feeling confident that her plan will work and that soon Arjun will belong only to her. "Let the games begin''" she said.

Punni comes over and both are having a long conversation. Both smile. "Are you absolutely certain about what you must do Purnima? Nothing should go wrong. I trust you can complete this one simple task?" Ovi questions Punni. She does not want her plan to backfire.

Punni feels insulted but says nothing. She wants this plan to work as well. She also has something up her sleeves. She recently discovered that Ovi's friend, Romil was here in India. She had seen them talking together and it was clearly evident by Romil's actions that he was in love with Ovi. Punni smile at the flash back. This will be like a breeze. All she had to do was to ensure that Sameer Rane fell for Purvi and ensure that Romil spent enough time with Ovi and confesses his love for her. Then with both the sisters out of the way, Arjun would be hers for the taking. Good thing Ovi invited Romil!!!!!!!!!

Night of the Dinner Party:

Ovi is in her room, busily applying makeup. She is in a jubilant mood. And thinks soon Arjun will be hers.

Arjun is downstairs standing by the door welcoming his guests. He is patiently awaiting his love Purvi. Finally the blessed moment arrives when Purvi stands awkwardly at the door. Arjun smiles and is about to say something when Ovi comes downstairs. Purvi walks away leaving Arjun sad.

Ovi and Arjun then thank everyone for their attendance. Ovi wants to especially thank Sameer Rane for coming. She then explains how her handbag got stolen and the valiant officer recovered her bag. Manav and Archana also thank Rane. He humbly accepts their thanks but starts feeling uncomfortable and states that he was only doing his job. He walks out to the pool and Ovi smiles at Punni. Punni simply nods and goes to sit by Purvi.

Romil comes but he apologizes for being late. Ovi is elated on seeing him. She introduces him to Archana and her her aaji. Romil greets then and says he is glad he came. Punni again smiles. It seems thing are going in her favour.

Arjun is continuously staring at Purvi. This makes her feel uncomfortable as Ovi glares at her. She gets u and also walks by the pool. Punni and Ovi smile wickedly. Punni follows Purvi outside.

Everyone is socializing and having a great time. Romil gets bored with the atmosphere and also goes outside. Ovi asks Arjun to accompany her outside as she wants him to thank Rane properly. They walk outside.

Poolside:

Purvi and Punni are talking about work. Punni glances around and sees Rane nearby. Arjun and Ovi are with him. She suggests to Purvi that they join them. Ovi is all smiles. She introduces Rane to everyone.

"Inspector Rane, this is Arjun my husband. She is Purnima my cousin. And this is my lovely sister Purvi."

"Nice to meet all of you. But Ovi ma'am I am already familiar with Ms. Deshmukh. I met her at the Police station."

Ovi again smile and thinks her plan is already working.
