Jyothi, you are missing the bigger picture here. Arjun dada, excuse me, Arjun Jiju, has now gotten the family he never had thanks to Ms. Mahan Deshmuck.

He is a loner no longer!

He will now have two sisters to tie rakhis for him at Raskha Bandhan and he will be such a loving uncle when the time comes playing video games with the nieces and nephews.

Ovi Thaayi and Purvi Mahan Thaayi will be inseparable now. Ovi will take Purvi shopping at the malls and Purvi will teach Ovi how to dance at dhaabas! What a happy family!

Besides, Arjun jiju will fall in line eventually as he will finally realize that Ovi had been loving him since before she was born and then, and only then, will he finally understand the meaning of love! It has to be since birth!

Doesn't matter if the other person doesn't feel anything, longevity of loving will win in the end ' it has to!

I hope Arjun decides to do business in Antarctica that will take 7 frigid years to get off the ground.

Why Antarctica you ask? Well the answer is there are no shopping malls or dhaabas there! Simple!

He can grow a beard to rival Rip Van Winkle, fish all day if he wants to, hike the TAM (Transantarctic Mountains), fly planes or even ice skate to practice for Dancing with the Stars on Ice.

He will have his memory of Miss Mahan's love to keep him warm at night.

On second thoughts, why don't we send the two loving sisters on a three hour tour and hope they both end up on Gilligan's Island sans Arjun jiju!

Antartica and a beard to boot!! I can imagine Arjun looking at the stars whispering sweet nothings to a star he has named after Purvi.

He can howl like the antartic wolf (now extinct but the denizens of the barren wild will be happy to "hear" of it's return) and scream and rage in futility while the two "Vi"sisters go their merry way out sacrificing the other and fawning over each other's and their mother's mahaanta.

Manav dad will look on proudly at all his sanskari children (sans one, my doosra ladla and who cares if damaad has gone a missing!) and Damo dear will sprinkle his Bappa talk on the eager ears of his grandchildren!!!

Now now everyone, the Purvi supporters and Arjun supporters (APP and PAP) are supposed to be working in tandem. However else will we be strong enough to combat not one but many forces of nature and ppl against us?


If we do not stand united then we will be divided and conquered... after all TIME is against us. What time? Well... seems that TIME is a major factor since Ovi loves Arjun longer... apparently time is now a big deal with love. TIME - the time that Archu has lost with her family will now be regained and has to come 1st. TIME - the time that Purvi dearest never had with her baba and dada and tyaais will now be hers. Of course... while all this time is taken into consideration - who cares if Purvi was emotionally derailed and blackmailed by both her mother and sister (one for 18 years about the lost of her family and the other for her aai's happiness). AND who cares if in all this time and happiness Arjun is miserable. When it comes to happiness and sacrifices... who is Arjun compared to the folks at the D's residence!?

Ash, loved your post, especially about AAP and PAP working in tandem. Hear, hear on Purvi being blackmailed twice over!! I feel for the girl, stupid she is and stupid she will be unless some one rescues her from her sanskari stupor.
