So the CV's have yet again been very successful and raising their TRP's and bringing back their audience that they lost after the Purvi-Arjun-Ovi debacle. Today's episode had all that was needed for viewers to chew on their nails in anticipation of the triumph of truth.
To begin with, Hiten Tejwani was brilliant in today's episode where acting is concerned. He showed us that there is a huge reason Ekta always brings him into a show when she needs the show to be re-surrected from ground level. He was exceptional in his angst, and pain from knowing about his mother's deeds and causing him and his children 18 years worth of separation woes. So yes, a huge shout out to Hiten for finally standing up, realizing and lashing it out cold to his mother.
Savita - well, just glad that all her crap was out today. It was indeed long overdue and we had been constantly bearing with her negativity. Although, what I would have loved is for Savita to have accepted her mistake but also put down all the points that led her to hate Archana. Someone mentioned in a post somewhere about Ar-Man's ill treatment of Savita and I rightly agree. Archana has been most insensitive to Savita after bringing in Sulo to the house and then the whole bias towards her own maika, leaving savita and vandu out and the constant shower of love on Varsha who was clearly getting psycho after the kid. All of this led to mistrust and hatred towards Archana, from Savita's side. It def was not only the FD's and Savita was always shown to be an insecure mother-in-law with shades of grey ever-present and in such situations, it only exacerbated her dislike for Archana. Hence, for all the wrong-doings 18 years ago, Archana is equally responsible and at fault if you ask me.
Sachin- Puru was convincing in his act and instead of hating him, I actually felt sorry for the Sachin that Archana had grown to ignore for Soham who she eventually donated to the unstable sister. Growing up through that kind of family drama can make anyone's mind twisted like sachin's and to top it you have an even more mentally unstable grandma to boot at home. So yeah, I felt immensely sorry for him and wanted to go hug him and tell him it will be alright. Kudos to him for finally letting the cat out of the bag and emoting in a way that makes you feel bad for little him. :)
Archana- All I have wanted to do is slap her since the leap. She is just getting on my nerves and proving the non-existence of such characters in today;s world. The look on her face when Manav wanted to throw his mother out of his life, clearly suggested that Archu once again is going to be Mahaanta ki murti and not let that happen. Savita for all I know, might be kept in the house and treated with utmost respect by Archu. Archu has been a cry-fest forever now and at the end of the day for whatever misdeeds done by others, she is half responsible for every pain in her life. She dragged Manav to the court for whom? The chawl people. someone who can give up on her husband that easily for every little thing, and then give up on her son for a crazy obsessed sister, well, she deserves to be leading a life of solitary confinement. Either ways- I don;t mean any offense to Archu fans but clearly this lady has been on a high horse of purity and truth, but she is exactly the opposite. All the posts about her biased treatment of both Ovi versus Purvi have made me dislike her even more, just like her previous biased treatment of Sachin versus Soham. Her lopsided feelings for her children are just weird, unlike Manav. He has shown immense emotion for Purvi without ever having known her and has shown immense love for soham, sachin , ovi and teju alike. Kudos to a father like that! Glad at least 18 years the 3 kids grew up with an equal love.
So now, Archu is re-united with Manav. I must thank the CV's for that because it has been so long everyone has waited for the original pavitra rishta to be back again. I am assuming we will see some happy romance scenes between the lead and also some very endearing family moments between the siblings now, purvi included. I have always wanted to see them have their own connections - Purvi with Sachin, Ovi-Teju-Purvi. However, Ovi-Purvi is hellishly awkward to visualize now, considering the man they share. However, Teju-Purvi will be fun to watch as they get back to the original camaraderie they had. finally, some positive family life to look out for in the coming epis.
I now hope, they are going to move the attention to Soham and Varsha. I don;t want to speculate on how and what is going to happen, but I am sure, Soham for one, is not going to easily forgive Archana the way the other kids did. He has every right to never forgive her for handing him away to a mentallly unstable sister. And I am sure he will never ever forgive Varsha either. As much as he loves Varsha, he is going to be crazy upset at her having kept him from his original family and also, it will strike him as psycho that she left her husband and mother in law and created a whole new life with her obsession of a son and a new gangster father in tow. That is sure going to scare him away for life. And Soham is my new fav character on the show to watch out for. I am sure he is going to have a wonderful growth in his character and the angst, pain, frustration is going to be a treat to watch, I cannot wait for Soham to unleash it on Archana and Varsha together. Hope he will go after Sulo with his wrath too for having instilled the world's weirdest sanskaars in her family ( Remember Vinod who became his wife's pet?)
What I am eagerly awaiting is soham and purvi's realization of beign siblings. They together made a very cute chemistry on screen and I guess, Purvi is the one that will get him back to the family. And I am hoping Soham is the one to re-unite Arvi. That is one sibling relationship I am dying to watch on screen:) They both are adorable together ofscreen ( Asha's bday segment) and they would make a most unsual sibling duo with their backgrounds on the show.
finally, moving attention to my beloved ARVI. I guess, Arjun should just go to a nearby well and jump in and die considering all his balidaan and giving in to lady love has gone to waste just one night after his wedding to Ovi. However, now we are goign to observe the most ridiculous segments on screen between these three. Arjun shamelessly eye-locking purvi, Ovi ridiculously pursuing Arjun without ever looking beyond her obsession and Purvi is going to be most painful character to watch when she is outright pursuing her A+ in the Mahaanta course and avoiding Arjun like she never loved him. It is going to super painful to watch overall. I feel sorry for Ovi and I feel sorry for Arjun. I just don;t feel sorry for Purvi in this scenario. Although, Arjun is going to want Purvi back in his life even more after Archu has gone back to the Deshmukh;s without Ovi ever having to do anything as part of her deal. But, Purvi is going to be so over the moon at finally having a father, and siblings in her life that Arjun is going to be put into the past and forgotten memory cupboard for her. she is not going to jeopardize her family for eye-locks with Arjun ever. Hence, I am geared up to hate Purvi a lot more in the coming epis and feel sorry for Ovi-Arjun.
What I am hoping for is Arjun Kirloskar to continue his ruthless self and shower his distaste on both Purvi and Ovi. It should be easier as they would be aroudn a lot more now :P I hope he gives it to them cold and spitting fire. That is a treat to watch because we all really miss the fiery boss he once was. Mush daddy has been exploited and now we need the dragon back on screen. So hoping to see that. Ovi, eventually is going to realize the futility of her one-sided marriage and wll surely under Archu-s influence learn the act of Mahaanta and possibly donate the husband back to her sisters jholi where it came from in the first place. :P
One track I do not want to watch is Purvi pregnant, because then the whole show and it;s title becomes pretty obsolete. There is nothing pavitra about being pregnant with you sister's husband;s child who you generously donated like candy to her. That would be pretty ridiculous and the end of any creativity that they have anways been lacking for a while. It would mean losing a lot of viewers too I guess. And I do not mind a new parallel lead as I am sure Purvi will be ready to jump the gun into marriage to avoid Arjun at any cost. So even if it is a homeless guy off the road asking for Purvi;s hand in marriage, madame mahaanta will be ready to sacrifice herself for Ovi and Arjun's never-happy-married life. Although, AArav singh aka Sameer Rane is not pleasing to the eyes so I hope they bring in someone else with Purvi who we could atleast tolerate as eye-candy if nothing else.
all in all, Soham-Purvi, Sachin-Purvi, Teju-Purvi, Ovi-Arjun, Arjun-Purvi, Ovi-Teju-Sachin-Archana and ARMAN finally are going to worth looking out for in the coming epis. But at the end of day, since the show has already gone obsolete in portraying reality and sense, I hope they bring ARVI back soon. Cannot wait to watch intense anger laced scenes of Arjun towards Purvi. My proposal is Purvi has never shown any great intense love towards Arjun so after Ovi divorces him, I hope when purvi decides to marry this Rane guy, she realizes her deep love for Arjun and then goes on a mission to get him back ( however wrong that is, I guess, reality is an illusion in the show so might as well watch what is pleasing to our eyes) and proves her love for him the way he proved his. That would be intense passionate and awesome to watch esp RD and Asha together. Finally, get them hitched and married with all the right fanfare asnd then bring whatever the hell problems you can as long as they are married, I will watch the show, just like how Ar-Man's romantic scenes would be the treat amidst a crazy story line. :)
Sorry for the long post, but wanted to put it out there what was on my mind after today;s epi. Not meant to hurt anyone;s feelings for any particular characters on the show!
