PART-PURVI'S REACTION
The episode starts with Purvi telling her story. She is sitting at the roadside, it is raining heavily. She is thinking about the past 24 hours.
It never fails. Just when you think, everything is going to be fine. Something bad is right at the corner to hit you. It hits you so fast, that your head spins and it is so hard even to stand again. Everything I thought I was I am not anymore. This is not fair.
I just had the best day of my life, it was perfect. First time I spend the whole day with my baba and aai. Turns out they are not my baba and aai, my real parents are someone else. It is fair? My whole life I have only known Manav to be my baba and Archana to be aai. Now someone comes and tells me that this is not my parents. My parents are Harish and Meera. I try to think of them as my parents but I can't it is like an alien word to me. I have always told people that my name is Purvi Manav Deshmukh and now suddenly it is not it is Purvi Harish...I don't even know my family's last name.
Does family always have to be blood? To me, family isn't always blood. It's the people in your life who want you in theirs; the ones who accept you for who you are. Aai as always accepted me, taken care of me and loved me. She has given me so much love that the thought of who is my real mother never once occurred to me. Ok, that is lie. When I first found out I was adopted, I wanted to know my parents but I didn't want to leave my aai. She is my mother and this is my family. That's all I knew.
How do I tell Soham who he is? If I can't take this pain, how is he going to? He loves his mother as much as I love mine. How am I going to tell him no this mother of yours actually kidnapped you from your real mother? Maybe I should tell aai, the truth? Aai…Purvi is looking at her mother's picture. She starts to cry. I look just like her.
Flashback…
Varsha :- Are you ok?
Purvi :- You are worried? You can actually feel others feelings.
Varsha :- Purvi, listen to me.
Purvi :- ENOUGH…I want to know, that is my brother isn't it. He is my Soham dada right?
Varsha is looking down. Purvi is very angry, she can't control herself anymore. She grabs hold of Varsha and yells…
Purvi :- TELL ME…
Varsha :- Yes, he is Soham. Manav and Archana son. Your brother, in both ways. Through Archana and also through Balan.
Varsha drops down and starts to cry. Purvi is looking at her. With everything that she has just heard, she can't believe this is happening. Please someone, please tell me that is not happening. I am dreaming all this. This can't be real.
Varsha :- Fate is something isn't it. Soham and you are not connected by blood but your bond is much stronger than what you share with Sachin, Teju and Ovi.
Purvi :- How can you do this do aai? How can you take her son away?
Varsha :- Don't you judge me. You are not a mother. When you become a mother you can talk, besides you do not know what happen that day.
Purvi :- I guess I can judge you, because you are not a mother. Soham is not your son.
Varsha :- Why because I didn't give birth to him? If that is the case that Archana is also not your mother.
Purvi is lost for words. She is in tears.
Purvi :- Don't you dare. Aai is my mother; she is the only mother I know.
Varsha :- I am the only mother, Soham knows.
Purvi :- There is a lot of difference between you and my mother. My mother adopted me; she took care of me because my parents died. She didn't kidnap me from my family and run away. How could you be so cold? Didn't you even once look back to see if aai was ok?
Varsha is quiet.
Purvi :- Of course you didn't. You only thought about yourself. You are so selfish. I am going to go tell aai everything.
Varsha :- Ok, tell sister everything but before you do ask her if will she return you to your family, now that you have found your family.
Purvi :- That is not family.
Varsha :- When you can't accept your family as yours, what makes you think Soham will accept his. He loves me lot, you should have realize it by now. Do you really want to put him, where you are standing?
Purvi is looking at her.
Varsha :- I can see the pain you are in. Think before you move, do you really think that Balan and grandpa are going to let go of Soham. Trust me they won't. They are not good people. You have seen them. They kidnap people for a living.
Varsha holds Purvi.
Varsha :- Listen to me, first of all Soham will not accept his parents like you can't. If he does accept, Balan and grandpa will not let him go. So, think before you tell sister anything. This truth that you are going to tell, imagine how much pain it is going to cause. Tai, will be very happy to find Soham, I know that. Any mother would, but at what cost. Losing you, can she lose you? Because I know grandpa, the only way he would let Soham go is if you go live with him and I know tai she will never let go of you. I have seen both of you, she really loves you.
Purvi is staring in to emptiness, for the first time she can't think.
Varsha :- So, tell me are you willing to let go of your mother.
Back to present time.
Purvi's phone is ringing…she looks at it…Aai…She is already worried. I better go home now.
The D clan house.
Archana :- She is not answering.
Tej :- What now, shall I go and find her.
Archana :- No, it raining heavily. Manav has gone, he will find her. I don't know why, but my heart feels something is just not right.
Tej :- Don't worry everything will be fine.
Archana :- I don't know what is going to happen now, they are already here. I don't know how Manav is going to react and Purvi has to go missing now.
Tej :- Aai…stop worrying everything will be fine.
10 minutes later, there is a knock at the D clan house. Tej opens the door and Purvi comes in.
Archana :- Where have you been? You were supposed to be back an hour ago. Manav has gone looking for you. Let me call him.
Purvi is looking past Archana and Tej.
Like I said, just went you think things can't get worse it does. It never fails.
Ovi and Savita are standing behind Tej.
