Every character has got a slap except Archana and it should be given by that weak husband of hers when she says she has a Pavitra Rishta with him and the abandoned kids . It should be given in front of all ...the kids , his family and outsiders and especially Sulochana .
Ideally this slap should have been given on the day Ovi tried to commit suicide .
I hold Manav more responsible than Archana for the laughing stock his marraige became because he made her his weakness and let her do tandav on his head .

I agree with Varsha that there comes a time when a man has to choose between his weakness for a wife and the good of his children . After Ovi's suicide attempt he should have told her to get out of his life . Sulochana coming to invite the Deshmukhs was understandable as she is a very hypocritical lady and she does not leave a single chance to disturb the Deshmukhs emotionally but Archana ? This was her family .
If it indeed was tough love it is a decision taken by discussing with the spouse . Did Archana discuss this matter with Manav? No , we saw her crying on Sulochana's shoulder the same way Purvi cries on Archana's shoulder for the slightest of reasons.
Why do these kind of women marry ? Men are not toys to be sacrificed for senseless sacrifices . Their hard earned money is not khairaat or charity . Such women who can neither be mothers nor wives but use husband's money abundantly are liabilities to men .
Arjun Kirloskar was so confident , such a professional before he met Purvi . Today he literally babbles only one dialogue ...
