In defense of PURVI

In defense of Purvi...because a lot of people are saying how she can do this to manav i have come up with my opinion...she didn't know Arjun come alone...if i was her and i see my baba talking to kidnappers and then Arjun coming to rescue me, i would follow him because in my head i would think that there was a plan..i run with Arjun, the moment i am out, the cops would surrond and my baba would be free...all ok..now this didn't go as plan..the moment purvi see's arjun shot, i am sure she went nuts...so went purvi see's the gun in manav's head and also there are cops all over...my reaction would be i need to get free so the cops can shoot this guys and everything would be over again.. the reason she didn't think about manav was because she knows that the cops would shoot if they tried to shoot manav...she just had to get away from Vishu...remember purvi is smart..

Hai there..which part are you talking about that purvi did not see vishnu had a gun on Manav's head -when she was running away with Arjun? ya..that part i know she doesn't realize...if she did realize she would run back to manav...i meant the time where they draged her to manav..vishnu was holding the gun to manav and had her by the neck...

Hai there...i do agree with you..however, i feel arjun wasn't thinking clearly..he is in love and when you are in love you would do stupid things...i feel he should have hid and only come to purvi's rescue if manav and vishnu exchange went bad..not before hand...

In defense of Arjun, when he saw Manav talking with the kidnappers and when arjun finds Purvi in the car alone, the natural thing for him to do is to set her free. It is then that he notices the police and the goon sees Arjun and the plan goes awry so Arjun has to run with Purvi. It is in an instant and instinctively he pulls Purvi and runs. They do not realize that Manav is in danger at that point.

Later, when Vishnu has his arm wrapped right around Purvi's neck she cannot even twist around to look at Manav. Arjun is within her line of vision. When Manav sees Arjun, the latter gestures for Manav to be silent and at this moment, Manav realizes that Purvi is in immediate danger, Vishnu has a gun and his arm is around Purvi. He complies with what Arjun wants and in fact is slow and deliberate in his movements so as to give Arjun a chance to get closer to Vishnu.
At that point, Manav throws the briefcase so Vishnu has to let go of Purvi for an instant when Arjun grabs her again and runs. The second part is an unspoken plan between Arjun and Manav. Arjun silencing Manav, Manav taking it slow so Arjun can get within distance of Purvi, throwing the bag - all that was done to let Purvi escape. Both Arjun and Purvi did not see that Vishnu quickly recovered the gun that had fallen out of his hand and that he made no haste to point it at Manav. Vishnu even at this point doesn't shoot Manav, he turns to shoot at the retreating Purvi and Arjun. So really no one's fault.

Natural for Arjun to follow Manav as well in the first place.

Yes, totally agree with you...it's no one fault...Arjun as i have said before is totally in love and when we are in love we do stupid things...the moment he saw purvi alone his heart would have said "SAVE HER''..she is the most important thing to him, so he will do what his hearts say, not his brain...that's is why he did not wait for manav to swap the money for purvi...if he followed his brain he would have waited..which in my opinion would have been the right thing to do..but if i was in his place i might do the same thing...it remains to be seen whether vishnu did manage to shoot either purvi or arjun..

Be it manav or arjun the main aim was to get Purvi out of there !! Where is the guarantee that in such incidents the victim is let go after receiving the money? Arjun did the right thing in taking her away. If the roles were reversed, manav and arjun would do the same thing. Get her out first !! It was not a bad decision at all. Things happened so fast there, that there is no time to think which is the best way to do it. U just act by instinct. That would be to save Purvi. Period.
I am also with the fact that Arjun went there to the rescue. What is he supposed to do? Stay home and twiddle his thumbs while Purvi's life is in danger? It would be totally against his nature. How safe is Manav going alone to face the kidnappers a wise thing? Ofcourse I understand why he did it, for Purvi's safety bec of the threat. But, what if things went wrong? Then both manav and purvi are in trouble arent they? Arjun going there is totally justified.
Where the CV's bungled is the way they showed the escape. The running away where everyone could see, nobody wartching arjun coming back after he was shot, the cops just hanging around doing nothing..:) but, we cannot combine this and the characters intentions or actions and start bashing them, and of all the people, Purvi, who is the victim here !!
