Let us not forget too that Archana did not ask for this divorce in the first place, neither did she ask for the alimony, if my memory serves me right, she asked for her kids and their childhood in return for the divorce. The divorce itself was orchestrated by the lovely Savita, forged signature and all, abetted by Sachin who is the one that pleaded with Archana if she truly loved him to give up on Manav for Shravani. Archana might be stupid to the extreme to remain silent and not expose Savita or to comply with selfish Sachin's request but gold digger she is not. One cannot have it both ways, accuse her of being a gold digger and a lover of poverty who wallows in being a poor sanskari, the two don't go hand in hand.

Before asking for the Kids, Archu decked up the meet 'mera' Manav😉...never asked about the kids once during the initial days after the separation track (If my memory serves right, Manav said something to that effect in one of the episodes). Then when the divorce track came, she ask for the kids and alas, flipflopped to ask for huge alimony😉...But poor Manav, how stupid of him not to understand the layered intentions of Archu😃..but as I said always he is but a mere mortal.😉..

Well Archu is a gold digger when Karanjkar's are concern😉, otherwise she is happy to live in the chawl living in glorified Sanskar or blame Mavan for his ambitions😃...it two different personality😉, i tell you she has - I said bipolar long time back😊...couldn't it have been best if she said, we will not give any ransom to the goons...lets go to the Police and have them take care of the situation...no she falls straight on Manav chest.😉..chalo yaar whenever K needed money, she could do anything...

And no Ovi does not need to fast until Purvi is rescued but she can remain mum and not mouth her inner turmoil especially when it showcases her selfishness. Her hugging Manav and telling him not to go looking for Purvi or help her goes against my grain of humanity and shrieks of a "me, me" attitude. I am sorry, dear Kaalapi, I have to agree to disagree with you on this.

DK is a two faceted man. In Canada, he was all over Ovi. And now he makes faces or hasnt even reassured the girl. Fiance or not. She is his friend's daughter. What happened to the personal admiration of how Ovi was so understanding of Arjun's work ethics.

Kalaapi, Purvi is not a nobody to Manav, that said, agree with your last three words :) I have never thought of Archana as bipolar, crazy maybe, unreal yes, many a time.

I found DK's behavior toward Ovi to be very cold. Ever since the truth about Arjun and Purvi's affair came out he has been extremely cold toward her. Not mean but not generous either like he is showing indifference toward her. He should care more about her his son betrayed and cheated her and DK doesn't seem to realize this. Still Manav was showing respect toward DK and Arjun. Very generous of Teju to comfort Archu-Sulo yesterday. Sulo was extremely rude to her at the hospital when Teju had just come to check up on her.

About Ovi's behavior toward Purvi. I kind of felt it was just how a biological daughter would feel if both her parents gave more importance to another girl compared to her. Of course ArMan should care for Purvi but Ovi should not be neglected as well. After all Manav had raised her ever since she was born so she should be most important to him along with Teju.

Another thing I'm getting tired of hearing is Archana telling Manav, "aap kuch kijiye na." She 1st has a problem with him becoming rich and wants him to be poor live in a chawl etc but when her family has problems she wants him to spend all of his money on them. Manav's new name should be the "Karanjkar Money Milking Machine."😆 Not that he shouldn't save Purvi but each time when Archana-Sulo or any of the Ks have a financial problem Manav always ends up paying for them. And as soon as Purvi gets saved by Manav Sulo is going to show her true colors again I gurantee.

Archana is still Manav's wife and his money is her money too .She is not taking this money to spend it on kitty parties and useless things , she is taking this to save her daughter's life ..I can't think of a better use for this money ...

Her displeasure for purvi can be sorted out later...

Bhalla, agree with you that DK has been cold towards Ovi and as they were close before, he even offered to host her once, he should have consoled the girl and tried to explain the mess he created.

Agree with Tanya and I believe I said it somewhere that Archana has rights over all Manav's crores. So what if she asks for help, it is her husband.

Agree with you that Ovi has every right to be offended, I would be affronted if my dad said he loved someone other girl just as much as he loved me but I liked Manav's words, he didn't say uthne hee pyaar kartha hoon Purvi se, he said she held the same maayne. Proper choice of words, she is his daughter as she has always considered him her dad, he has accepted that relationship a long time ago and as Tanya sad the only reason she ended up in this soup is because of him. All compelling reasons for him to feel morally responsible and save Purvi. You do agree with this :)

As for Ovi, as Sudha says and as I wrote elsewhere too, she needs to have risen above her feelings for once, she is 19+, has some sort of moral bearing and some sense of humanity one hopes. I would not let my worst enemy languish at the hands of my intended captors if I could help it. Let us face it, the girl might be emotionally scarred but she is selfish.

Laurie, lol, she looked so cute saying it too :) and I am not a Savita fan!! Had a fleeting thought that this is why Damo likes her, he knows behind all that rock hard, loud exterior, she has a heart.
