I really liked Manav's words in last episode- he kept mentioning that he was the target and later Ovi. given that Purvi just happened to be at wrong place at wrong time. whats her fault? He also mentioned, after all she is a girl and anything bad can happen to her. He has not forgiven her but whatever he is doing is for humanity.

at the end, Humanity is above all. Hopefully Ovi will understand that too (unless she somehow manages to talk to kidnappers once andplayssome game to get rid of purvi

You hit the nail on the head, in the end, humanity is all that matters and hopefully Ovi learns that, Savita again surprised me by trying to pacify and explain to her grand daughter the reasons behind her dad's actions.

In precap , DK ( Purvi's would be father in law ) is bringing the money and offering that this should be used to save Purvi's life but it is Manav who is refusing to take it ..

I didn't see Archana forcing him to use his own money ...Archana only wants her daughter back who got kidnapped in the first place because she is the daughter of the rich business tycoon Manav Deshmukh ..

He said this himself ...Purvi means same to me as Ovi and Teju .

The kidnappers are only interested in Purvi because she is Manav's daughter , why else would they even look at her ..

The same money she has right to that was gained through ambition and took him to court over criminal charges over random people. The bad wealth she wanted Arjun to leave and prove himself. The same wealth she considers her own but didn't live with a hubby for 18 yrs nor tried to reach out and show concern for her biological kids…the same money she uses to fulfill all Karanjkar's demand, but turns 360 when that need is fulfilled and go gaga over Sanskar ...please do show me a hubby as magnanimous as Manav is…ready to give up wealth for a girl given as a adopted daughter on a platter.…we the audience do give her, Manav's money on a platter whenever it is convenient for us, don't we.…

Kalaapi, let us chalk it down to her alimony for 18 years, compensation for desertion and settlement for taking the kids away from her. If not, I as a viewer would be willing to spilt Manav's riches 50/50 between them (Going by the law of the land where I live 😆, he will be rid of her and she of him). She actually may be entitled to more than 50% if they have been married over ten years, regardless of whose fault it is. We could also throw in attempted bigamy charges, forgery, mental cruelty and abuse - should technically clean him out and leave nothing for his money happy mom.

Dear Bhalla, I applaud Manav for taking the decision he did even if he is not at fault for the kidnapping and it is the kidnapper's fault.

But just for fun, I would like to stretch the blame, who kidnapped Purvi? Soham. Who is Soham? Manav's son. Who is responsible for bringing him into the world ? Manav. So it is Manav's fault. 🤣 also, who is getting the crores? Soham. Is it solely Ovi's inheritance as someone suggested or is Soham entitled to it as well? It is all staying within the family so I am not worrying too much about the monies :)

As Dabulls so wisely stated, this is a silly soap, no rhyme nor reason to it and unfortunately all logic has been thrown to the winds :(

Totally agree and Like to add Here is the same married woman who is divorcing the husband in less than a month...Let the judge decide how much money she is entitled to...Most wives have to fight tooth and nails to get a good divorce settlement..No husband would easily give out 3 crores..

On the other hand I think the court will take very severe view of manav snatching away her children, abandoning her for 18 years and not once trying to find out what her condition is!
Manav has not suffered professionally because of losing the court case. He abandoned archana and told her very clearly on phone not to come near his children and fight for them in court. And left without leaving a forwarding address.The court is sure to take avery severe view of this. And the role of Savita, however much is condoned by her fans, will come up during the hearing.
And yes archana, as wife and a housewife , has full right over manav's belongings. In the eyes of law!

Manav is a good human when he listens to his heart. Else he is confused and lost.

I think we should take a vote as to whether we want to be present in court on DD day - divorce decree- we could all play character witnesses, testifying to Archana's or Manav's character, whichever side we choose :)

Dabulls, Manav got engaged to Shravani when he was still married, attempt at bigamy, abandoned her for 18 years - desertion, took the kids away (she could claim mental instability as she was grieving for her lost child and her husband took advantage of her feeble state of mind), he took them out of the country away from her and they were below 5 years of age (I believe there is a statute in the indian legal system that says a child under 5 belongs with the mother), provided no support to her in these 18 years - all good causes for a hefty settlement even if she hired the lousiest of attorneys to represent her.

Savita's interference would just tip the scale further in Archana's favor - the forgery would land Savita in jail unless Archana's attorney agrees to press no charges in exchange for say 6 crores - I am sure even Ovi would not begrudge that amount to keep her beloved aaji from going to prison. Add to that the pushing and shoving that Savita has done (the chawlwallas can all testify to this) - that would be physical and mental torture - again cause for some monetary damages in exchange for forbearance, and last but not least, let us come to Sachin - debarred and jail time? Manav would give up his entire fortune gladly to keep this from happening.

As for Archana's negligence, there is all kinds of negligence, a good attorney could cite contributory negligence, Savita and Manav wanted to give the baby up for adoption, they contributed to the escalation in the already fraught situation which caused Varsha to kidnap Soham. All Archana did was hand the child to her sister, she did not aid and abet.

While we are on the subject, the Deshmukhs are a fine lot, pointing fingers at Arjun for breaking off the engagement when they themselves can be accused of all kinds of moral duplicity - from Savita to Sachin to Damo and even Vandu - hiding the truth for their own comfort. How evil is that?

All this is in jest, no personal offense to any member intended. :)

SW1 and for all that as you mentioned Manav has paid thru is nose and rest of the body...Sad part is Savita has paid the most losing her son to Archana's family member's involvement...And it is chalked off as an accident...We can debate and take votes till the cows come home...Nothing will change...😳

How 50+ yrs old Archana's grave mistakes are labeled as sillyness, stupidity out of goodness of her heart but the same break is not given to Ovi mind you who is only 19 yrs old 😳

Even if she took him to court or hurt him or whatever , even if she is the worst ever person ...still , his money is still hers because she is his wife 😊..
