Their track has substance. ARman used to, but their continued separation keeps me detached.

Nothing, my dear, for as the immortal Holmes said with his usual perspicacity, one should never theorise without data, about the kidnapping, that is, for there nothing else to comment about today.

It seemed a dead cert that it was Ovi, for the sari is the one she was wearing, and it was she who moves away from the crowd to the water taps,as she is upset by seeing Arjun and Purvi in a playful mood after the dahi handi tie. Purvi is standing with Arjun at that moment, and in any case, her sari is completely different and cannot possibly be mistaken for Ovi's. Also Vishnu clearly shows Ovi's photo to his companions on his mobile. If, after all this, the CVs want it to be Purvi who is kidnapped, they will have to be pretty good contortionists!

The film promotion by Riteish and Tusshar was most amateurish, and I hope the rest of the publicity is better than this.

At the dahi handi finale, I had to rewind my recording and watch it thrice to make sure that it was Arjun saving Manav from taking a tumble from the top of the pyramid, and not vice versa. So the boodhi haddiyan did pretty well, except right at the end. Now what happens to the Rs.10000/-? Does Arjun have to split it with Manav?

Thanks a lot. I am glad you enjoyed the ironic/comical parts; one needs to be able to relax and laugh from time to time, including at oneself for hanging on to this serial!

As for your take on Archana, I agree 101%. @ red is VERY funny! I don't really think she empathised with Purvi, except to the extent that the girl's obvious misery must have kept her from ticking her off or making cutting remarks about Arjun. As for that importance for Purvi comes back very fast when she goes missing tomorrow, I would not think much about my mother's love for me if I had to be kidnapped for it to surface!!

I am only glad poor Purvi has Arjun, and Sulochana as well, to make her feel loved and cherished.

That point you made about Archana not being actually in the D house was very interesting. I had not spotted it at all.

When Arjun gave her that assurance and comfort, I couldn't help but think about what I missed just a scene prior with Purvi not getting that assurance from her Aai. Was atleast glad that she gave her the pooja aarti, but I wanted her to give atleast a bit of comfort to this daughter of her's who shared so much of her life and was in despair at that moment because Arjun hadn't turned up as promised. This daughter was crying and I sooo wanted Archana to atleast be with her. Instead she distances herself. Really feel bad for Purvi that this mother of hers is so much worried about her own Ovi and Teju that she is unable to give any time or love for Purvi. Did you guys notice Archana was not actually in the D house when she came all made-up for the festival and took the aashirwad from Damodar? She was standing somewhere with a brown-door in the background and the rest of the family were all together in the house. Watch even the scene where she is taking the blessings, it is edited in such a way to make it appear as if she was with all of them.

I also looked at the Dahi Handi scene like 5 times to figure out who was saving whom. I am still unsure, but for now, I will accept Ms. Shyamala's take on it and go with that :-).

As for Archana's smiling... I saw her looking at Manav dancing after he tied the Dahi Handi... maybe that left a smile on her face, which quickly faded as she saw both Manav and Ovi's expression as they saw the love birds.

I too am wondering about the money. BUT... the CVs have so many tracks running concurrently that they may forget completely about the money by tomorrow and focus on the kidnapping. The whole money scenario may fade into oblivion in light of this new track for all we know. Lets see what happens.

Im getting eye turn and head turns and all kinds of topsy turvy turns just thinking about this kidnapping, who will be kidnapped and all the various scenarios that can follow. However, I completely agree... I think DK video will play a role.

On a lighter note... i enjoyed the Dahi Handi celebrations and I particularly liked how Arjun and Purvi were coyly looking at each other when they were pulled to dance and of course loved the end when they were "catching play" so to speak. Him teasing her and dancing and her reciprocating. VERY nice scene - but wayyy too short!!!

not even a min of arvi today, exclusively i mean..and with all this kidnapping fiasco, doesnt matter, who it is, dont know when we will get any arvi scenes...:(
