Arjun is wrong that he didn't explain it to Ovi but he is not a cheater. He never told Ovi he loved her, in fact the opposite the first time around when she announced that they were engaged at that dinner party in Canada, he made it clear he did not love her and was niot interested in her that way. She is heart broken which is very sad for her but she needs to use her akal and move on. If a guy doesn't like her, no use wasting time over him.

Maybe if he had not fallen in love with Purvi (remember in the beginning there was no love lost between them) he would have married Ovi and made her happy, thinking that slowly he'll fall in love with her too... Now say, if the scenario was such that he loves Purvi but she definitely doesn't love him still he will not go ahead and marry Ovi because now he knows that he loves someone else very much and there's no way he can love Ovi ever. Ovi should just grow up. Arjun told her clearly she doesn't love her. If she really loves Arjun and wants him to be happy, she should let go.

Rash, it was wrong on Arjun's part to even pursue Purvi and confess love to her before getting out of his "relationship" with Ovi - I have always said that and felt that. But he fell in love, and the engagement was not his doing, there was an agreement but no formal sagaai as yet, he could still have gotten out of it by 1) either telling Ovi before she got to India (yes, I know he did try to call her but trying is not enough), 2) or he could have refused to get engaged. He did neither, he erred but I still hold he is not a cheater. Cheating would be "to deprive of something valuable by the use of deceit or fraud" - he was open about his love for Purvi (no deceit just tried to save Ovi's face at the engagement, knowing what we now do of her, she would have thrown a royal scene and been even more devastated) and he never tried to defraud her - he told his dad the next day and had no intent to cheat either girl.

Also, after the engagement, Purvi and Arjun kept no relationship, if he was emotionally attached to Purvi while being "engaged" to Ovi, that is his love, not cheating. My two cents.

its a big thing if someone's engagement is broken and Arjun is a coward he should have said to ovi he doesn't love and he loves purvi...he should sit down with ovi have a nice chat and make her understand about the situation but no. Since Arjun is such a boo boo i reckon Purvi deserves better who will actually stand up for her not like arjun. Purvi and Ovi both deserve better and Ovi is just trying to protect her love alright simple as that. If anyone was in her place they would do the same thing because these days people want money duh lol

Arjun always considered Ovi, a "friend". And there's a big difference between a friend and lover. His heart never beat for Ovi, it was Ovi who was and still is crazy about him, she's completely living in denial. His heart only beats for Purvi. That's about it, so that doesnt make him a liar or cheat. 🤔
