so purvi did have an affair with arjun

arjun inspite of being in love with purvi got engaged to ovi in front of her, is he a sissy that he cudnt react. yes, he was surprised and shocked but he aint faint hearted that he dutifully got engaged

punni called ovi and told her that her fiance is having an affair with someone else. WOAH. huge opportunity to bring the truth out. archana being unaware that the girl in question is purvi says that someone is lying and it cant be true and also advises purvi to NOT talk to arjun about it. Purvi knows everything and so does arjun later, when they hunt for the girl who called ovi. both of them are party to being cheaters to the fiance and parents.

so why is purvi and arjun being glorified.
what sanskar do they talk about when she is also a liar just like arjun

ovi reacting the way she did - when she slapped the girl who was havin an affair with the fiance as per promo - i say, good girl. why shud she take crap from the cheating fiance or the liar that purvi has become.

Agree with you on the lying part - too much of that all around and it is wrong.But Ovi should be slapping Arjun for cheating on her. Purvi owes Ovi nothing and didn't even know Ovi was part of Arjun's life when she, Purvi fell in love with him after Arjun chased her relentlessly. And Purvi has not indulged in any sort of affair with Arjun after he got engaged and after Purvi came to know about Ovi. Arjun on the other hand, kept Ovi a secret from Purvi, Purvi a secret from Ovi and everyone else (except DK) and has not stopped pursuing Purvi even after his engagement, that last is totally wrong. Purvi needs to slap Arjun again for landing her in this mess and she needs to report Ovi for assault. Ovi can slap Arjun however much she wants! He did betray her trust and has a lot of explaining to do Just stating my opinion.

I agree with you Nirvan, although don't agree with the slapping part and not just in this case, I just don't support 'slapping' in hindi serial the way it is always being portrayed period, because as I read post I concluded that people who never been to India or know about the culture, conclude wrongly seeing all the slapping going on that it is part of Indian culture to 'slap' which is not the truth...

Anyway about Ovi being upset, she has every right to be, first all this secrecy around her mom and finally coming to know that except for them, everyone knee everyone's true identity...now even before this incident can be fully absorbed or even comprehended fully, another truth about her and Arjun's relationship revealed...man I found it hard that no one for once thought from her POV or how if we were in her shoe could have reacted...

I find both Porvi and Arjun equally at fault...Arjun failing to come up clean with Ovi and Porvi not telling even Archu/ or even Sulo the truth, even after seeing Ovi come crying at their house and knowing the truth about Arjun/Ovi's relationship...in some way or the other both have to come clean...I don't believe loving is wrong and absolutely Ovi and Arjun shouldn't be married under the circumstances, but this girl does deserve the truth and minimal respect from all people, these very people who actually claim to have a relationship with her either through blood or through adoption or simply through lover/friendship...come on don't we deserve the truth from our various relationships????...

i agree. if she has to slap, arjun shud be party for the treatment as well. he is the main culprit who has literally cheated ovi and purvi in all the senses possible.

i disagree a little, yes she has distanced herself totally after she got to know abt ovi - but the way she handled punni [phone call - that wasnt done for the only reason - that yes, she loves arjun, she shud be with him and not ovi BUT she is still party to the lies arjun is concocting

Ovi slapping purvi was a reaction to the betrayal imo, i mean if i call someone a friend, i obv trust her and then i get to know the supposed friend is having an affair with my guy, i wud retaliate in a not so mature way.

thats what my point was. she knows and she lied and hid the real facts wen archana was stating that it must be a lie when it is clearly not.

what a good point.. it was a setback and a huge HOLE in the sanskars when archana suggested dont talk to arjun as he may feel u dont trust him - well if ovi wud have talked to him then n there he had another opportunity to ocme clean with ovi. all these lies , for me, thats arjun purvi being horrible people towards ovi who is the only innocent person in this mess.

When ovi slaps Purvi in front of other outsiders, our culture & upbringings will not permit to react such a way. First of all, I do not support the act of slapping. We are civilised people and we are here after so many revolution. So, slapping another person is not the right attitude..

Secondly, if she really wants to slap, she shud slap the person who has made promises to her. AK is accountable to her not Purvi. If AK by any chance, cud make an affair with many gals, Ovi wud slap each one of them!!!!!! This simply shows the lack of understanding between them..

What Purvi has did, just to save the engagement of AK & Ovi. What she has done unwillingly ( with making a love affair with AK) & unintentionally, she is just trying to overcome from her guilt feelings - though love making is not a crime ( but wth an engaged person, is not morally supported. But she was unaware of it)

i dont know about the friends part. i watch the show in bits if i do. saw the scene where ovi arjun n purvi were gng together to work in car .. not sure what the scene was exactly.
ovi was reasonably v good to purvi.
@ovi s mood to reason - well i dont know , i wud be worse if in a situation like that.

Kinda agree with you...Purvi/Arjun whenever they want to bring the truth out - the circumstances did not favor them :(
