Naresh, I agree with you, it is not fair to Ovi either. I feel very bad for Purvi too.

darn ugly is an understatement, Trish. Arjun seriously needs to take it off, he can give Ovi and the world whatever excuse he wants but he cannot be wearing another woman's "you belong to me" sign on him😲 If he is earnest about his feelings for Purvi, he should not be able to brook the weight of that thing on his finger. 😡

Jahnvi, yes, that ring is atrocious. That ring must suffocate him😲.

I am expecting one dhamaka again in this party. Do you think Purvi will end up going there? and do you think Arjun will speak up or will the marriage date be announced? DK is not there to support Arjun .. he is on his own. I don't like the thought of everyone ganging up on him or Purvi. It makes me angry.

I think Tej and that Sulo will make Purvi go to the party though I am hoping against hope that Purvi somehow gets out of it.

I don't think Arjun will tell Ovi, maybe he will call Purvi or tell his dad on the phone that he cannot go along with the engagement anymore and maybe Archana will overhear.

Maybe Purvi will end up going to the party and Arjun will again not be able to tell Ovi and Manav announces the wedding date and Archu finds Purvi upset and finds out the truth.

As for Rithwik's face, it is amazingly mobile, and that is his greatest strength as an actor, for his voice is nothing much to speak about, and he does not have the advantage of a 6 foot frame. He is best with his back against the wall and desperate, and so, as an actor, he probably does not mind how many sad scenes he is landed with.

Faced with this non-verbal eloquence and pathos at a distance of a foot or less, any girl would melt; I remember how much like a lost puppy he looked when he landed at her door after the 'kiss' uproar. Purvi undoubtedly feels the emotional pull, and the changing expressions on her face probably mirror the state of play in the tug of war between her two inner selves : the rigid one that warns "He is an untrustworthy two-timer, don't give him an inch!' and the soft one that says "But I love him and he loves me!"

Coming to specifics, even if she had felt like doing so, she was too close to him to slap him when he was holding her hand. You need some clear space for the swing of the arm.

Very clever and convincing take on this little puzzle. You have hit on exactly the correct explanation for that opening gambit or Arjun's. It is a classic opening line to make sure she does storm off as she always does. He counts on its bringing her up short, and it does, and so buys him face time with her.

It was kind of a business tactic - "give what the client wants and then trap them into listening to what you want to say" stuff (?)
