Hmmm...havent watched yet, but from the updates (Thank you Tanyaz)...this is getting interesting.
Jhanvi!!! Missed you dearest! 😊 Glad to see you back and posting. In a way, I do have to agree with you on this one. Although I do feel bad for Arjun, it seems to me that Purvi is calling him out (which you guys have to tell me if this is correct since I havent seen it yet). She didnt tell him sacrifice, my aai, sister, etc. From the update, she told him...if you really love me you would have told Ovi the truth. Which to tell you the truth is 100% correct.
There is a point at which talk becomes just that: talk. What Arjun needs to do is fix this: show his strength, be a man, and do the right thing. Now we can give allowances for him trying to talk to Purvi...and yes, she was unduly harsh with him. But she is in a very insecure, awkward place. And judging from my own feelings and observation, I think Sulo is going to turn out to be a major heartbreaker for Purvi. This will make her recall memories of Varsha's incident, and the fact that Ovi/Teju are her own grandchildren will make her turn on Purvi: Im almost sure of it. It will be a major blow for Purvi.
In a way, I am glad Purvi is being strict with Arjun: put it this way, if she was soft and understanding, he might have taken his own sweet time in getting things sorted out. There is no arguing that this anger and coldness of hers have definitely spurred him into action: first in telling his dad, and then in trying to tell Ovi at the restaurant. I have a feeling there will be some major drama at this party as well.
Here is how I think it will go down: Arjun will make it clear that he is not going to marry Ovi because he is in love with someone else. However, he wont say who it is...he will just break the engagement. But it will definitely create drama because Sulo, Archu, and Teju will immediately become suspicious. Enter Punni this week and we have some real masala going on.
This reminds me of an article I read...dont remember where...but it said "Ovi will be extremely unhappy at Arjun/Purvi coming together and will try to create problems for the couple."
If that is the case, they may just wind up coming together...with their only support being Archu of course. Then enter Punni, Savita, and a pissed-off DK (who will be angry that Arjun did not follow instructions and handle things the way he had instructed). Im also on the fence about Manav too...I like to think he will support Purvi but Im not so sure- I think this is going to lead to a major misunderstanding between him and Archu. Even though its not logical, since Purvi is Archu's daughter, he is going to somehow blame her for this and for Ovi's broken heart.
I think Ovi will team up with Punni somehow to try to create more misunderstandings between Arjun/Purvi. I wish the CVs would listen to us and let ARVI unite: we would still be very interested in seeing how they tackle everyone else, and there is plenty of scope for drama there for sure.
However, if it is necessary to keep showing drama and misunderstandings, make it the other way around for a change: make Arjun the one who gets angry and misunderstands next time, and make Purvi the one who has to try to explain herself for a change. It seems that this will be the pattern. The MU will clear up, ARVI will be together- until the next drama/misunderstanding happens. If this is how they are going to do it, then I would just like to see the reverse for once though, and I hope the CVs take this into account so we have a better balance with this relationship here.
