Thank you so much. But to tell you the truth, I would have traded in your warm praise, and much much more for a gentle and kind Arjun-Purvi scene today, even if it was full of tears. But that was not to be.

Dear Trish,

Yes, I did say that, and it was not just to cheer you up, I meant all of it.But then I did not know that such ugly scenes were in the works. It is not others who are destroying ARVI, it is the couple themselves, she by abandoning him when he needs her the most, and he by being spineless and unable to shake some sense into her head. He seems so clueless and desperate that one's heart quite sinks. I like only strong men, and however much in love he might be, I cannot admire an Arjun who allows himself to be humiliated so badly. One can have lovers' quarrels, but not those that are so harsh and corrosive on one side and so supine on the other.

It is not a question of my forgiving Purvi. I just do not want to sit thru any more of this kind of stuff, and as I do not plan to abandon PR, I shudder to think of what more might await me.

Purvi's reaction was in response to seeing the one she loves put a ring on her own sister. She was devastated that day. Her heart was punctured. Poppy mentioned something in the TRP thread the other day, she said, last week after the engagement fiasco PR Trps shot up, so she had predicted this breakup track would be continued as a result .. therefore, CVs think and know that breakups create drama, and create higher TRPs for PR right now. This could be the reason why they are stretching this breakup episode. I know TRP samples are insignificant, but I think this is how shows are judged anyhow.

ARVI have made a beautiful journey so far, until now, and like you kept telling me in some of your wonderful posts, that don't give up hope Trish, "even when 1000 Ovi's butt in to destroy ARVI, they can't because they are meant to be, as has been decreed". These are your own words, and I love you for helping me keep up my hopes for ARVI, especially after all that's been going wrong, all this while. Thanks so much. 🤗

Dear Shyamala,

The ARMan track should give us some hints as to what might await ARVI in the time to come. I know, today's episode was so unlike ARVI. Completely suffocating. I became numb to it all after a while, because it was too much to take.

I hope the PR creative team handle ARVI differently than they've done ARMan.

Trish, I have not watched the episode yet.. As Arch said, we see after 12 hours. Based on the WU, I dont think Purvi loves Arjun at all.. This is not my definition of LOVE at all. She slaps him with anger, and yells. Big NO NO.. If she wants to push him away for the sake of family, this is not the way.

Plz.. We dont have to see a romantic ARVI all the time, atleast let them argue, let them fight for their work. We adored all of it, but not this.

As Shyamala said, broken glass that is glued, can never be a glass that is not broken. CVs.. you created such an adorable pair from the scratch and you are sabotaging/crushing them right in front of us. It is no fun.

Vgiri .. I know Purvi didn't behave like a woman in love. Arjun also did not behave like a man in love on the day of the engagement. So, both are to blame for letting external circumstances dictate their terms of endearments .. On one day, Arjun is at fault, and on another, Purvi is at complete fault. Like today.

To be honest, I am just numb to all of this right now, because for TRPs.. PR team will do anything! They gave us 2 days of ARVI after 4 months of bringing- them-together episodes and then they broke them up! They landed Ovi in India right on the same day they confessed.

totally agree with what you mentioned.. Purvi's so called convo was more like screaming at Arjun, which she might as well done it over the phone!!!! There is no room for reconciliation now!!! She said no "Rishta" b/w them and it certainly doesn't mean PR!!!

She could have at least listened to what Arjun had to say!!!

I felt bad for Arjun today !!

basically everyone is sacrificing Arjun for their own reasons.!!! first of all Purvi for the sake of her aai and sis, and next Ovi is not bothered whether Arjun likes her or not. she just wants to get married to him...No one seems to care as to what Arjun had to say or what he likes...

Loved the post Shyamala and I agree with you that Purvi was very unfair to Arjun .I know Arjun has made terrible mistakes but when she spoke with him on the phone , he clearly told her that he has something to say and after that he will never bother her again . Purvi agreed to this and went back to hear him out .

Now I did not see him talking ...😕

Why did she even go there in the first place if she was to yell and tell him that he is a two time cheat ..

If Purvi is doing this for sacrifise ( to make him hate her and all that ) then fine , I take my words back ...

But if she actually believes that Arjun is a cheat then why is she not telling Archana about it ..

Archana loves her more than a daughter ...much much more ..Doesn't Purvi owes to tell Archana that her daughter in in danger because she could be marrying a guy who does not respects her love and was cheating on her ...

How can Purvi hide something like this from Archana ... 😲

I know she wants to see Archana happy but if she lets her daughter marry a cheat then how will Archana be happy ...

I am shocked that Purvi is hsiding something so important from Archana that involves her daughter's life ...Archu trusts her so much and so does Manav ..She owes this to them ..

Th other day she cried so much that Aie does not share her happiness with her any more .Today the first thing that Archana did when she saw Purvi was tell her about her joy of spending her day with Ovi ..

Archana does everything that Purvi wants , Purvi should also think more sensibly ...

She helped Archana and manjusha save Punni from a two timing cheat and bad choices in life ...

And that silly DK, he just left his son in this mess and even today messed it for him while sitting in Australia ...

But Shyamala , I don't think Ovi should marry Arjun ...I don't like Ovi because I think she is a snob and I like Arjun because heis a sweet guy ...but I still don't want Ovi to marry him because he does not loves her and Ovi deserves someone who genuinely loves her and that person is not Arjun .

I think Purvi did not handle things right and maturely today .

Purvi shrills and Arjun whines. Because the writers have no other way to proceed with the plot except to use stupid dialogues.

Is this the best the cv's can do? All the characters are being slaughtered one by one. The cv's have decided that they are not going to make it easy for us to admire any one character now - we going to be seeing everyone's flaws. Like Arjun said - no one is perfect.

(Playing devil's advocate) - They might even introduce another guy in Purvi's life to make Arjun jealous. he will relent because of her sacrifice and they almost go their separate ways. If that ever happened - I will be striking a business deal with Arjun Kirloskar to buy the rights to Pavitra Rishta from the channel and fix this whole darn mess!!!! No one messes with ARVI!!!

Why did they have to inject so much mistrust and seeds of hate in this pavitra rishta? They came together that day in the temple because of God's blessing - why oh why are the cv's hell bent on ruining this magic?

Granted that Purvi was hgh handed today - self preservation will do that to you. Arjun is barely treading water and the world is just collapsing around both of them. 😡

Arjun - In my humble opinion if you really want Purvi to listen to you you need to do exactly two things:

1). Take off that RING and toss it far away right in front of Purvi. Frankly, its an eye sore for us all (let alone Purvi) and for some reason its one of the things I always notice in these scenes now (actually secretly hoping he would take it off/forget it)

2). Most importantly - Stop talking! Take the high road. Now that you've tried baring your soul several times to her and she's not listenening (yet), switch it off! The silence will be deafening for her. She will not be able to stand you staying away from her and she WILL search you out for answers.

Once you have her undivided attention, you then make your apologies, sweep her off her feet and give us back our ARVI!!!

This is the best thing Arjun can do... Break up with Ovi.. Do not go back to Purvi, flirt with Punni right in front of Purvi and allow Punni to take advantage of your wealth. Let us see what Purvi does.

We do not need a new person for Purvi, Arjun is not the one running away. He is very much there for her, she is the one doing these drama. Let her see the reality. May be she will then realize what his love means to her.
