Purvi has always been afraid of being let down by those that she loves imemensly which includes Archana, Sulochna tai, (Manav) and now Arjun.
She was hurt at the eng.party when she found out that Archu has didden tha fact that Teju is her bioogical daughter! That was a blow taht even Sulo did not tell her anything! And than comes an even bigger blow- Arjun getting engaged infron of Purvi. Two blows at the sam etime from the people that she loves so much.
And yes, I thnik unconciounsly Purvi has always been ready to build a shell around herself if she ever is let down by those she loves, arjun betrayed her and now she is conciunsly, unconsciunsly builing that shell around herself to be able to push him away and to soem extent hurt him so that he can give up on her too. She know that arjun was not really at fault at that party, he was trapped! I feel for Purvi even after yesterdays episode becuase she has always been ready to do anything for her family memebrs but I guess she never realised that would mean giving up her own soulmate! And that hurts her and since she is not telling anything to anyone else, he has only arjun that she can let her anger and helplessness out on. And i think that arjun did not say anything becuase he understands that.

Cyrine, your post is so empathic.. very touching😊👏👏👏👏 -- just fell in love with the last line in bold.

Rescue
Deep, in the abyss, I cried for you
I saw your dark teary eyes, staring at me
Your silhouette, indigo in the night
Throwing in a rope to pull me out
A shapely hand clasped your shoulders
And wrenched you away from me
The rope hangs in silence
While you are gone
And I am still caved in..

I love this!!! 👏
Very touching. Thank you Trish 😃

Laurie, Trish, Cyrine - all wonderful posts. 👏 You all deserve a round of applause. Even I want those magical ARVI moments back. That is why I am keeping my fingers crossed that all this misunderstanding between Arjun and Purvi only lasts till next week and not longer. I pray for a beautiful reunion between the two.
Laurie, thanks for reminding us what attracted us to ARVI in the first place and Trish, thanks for your wonderful poem.
I hope Punni's back next week and is up to her evil tricks again. She is the only one I feel I can count on to unintentionally bring ARVI back together. Thankfully, Jia mentioned she was shooting again for PR. And I'm eagerly waiting for her, RD, and Asha's SBS segment.

By the way, this whole week the episodes were about Ovi. Did they ever have an entire week's episodes devoted to Tej after Archana found out she was her daughter? Archana and everyone seem so fascinated by Ovi more than Teju. Is it because she is the wedge between ARVI and also because Archana might have to go against her when she supports Purvi's love for Arjun when it comes out in the open?

Hi Simusha - Just in case you still needed it the information, it was the Feb 14th episode ❤️

How fitting that it be Valentine's day that he started really looking at her 😆

That scene is one of my all time faveys 😃

Cheers,

Laurie

Nina,
No, they did not give the same treatment to Tej after she arrived in India. But then she's been around much longer than Ovi. I hope this is the end of Ovi week. Ovi ovi ovi🤢 -- she broke ARVI up, so yeah, the CVs want us to know what she is about and how she behaves in India and with people from middle class backgrounds. They want us to know how Savita's upbringing might have affected her behaviour.
I hope we can see some ARVI the coming week along with ARman as well.

I think the PR producers didn't anticipate that Arvi would be such a great hit with the audience. It was a Manav- Archana family story basically with Arvi scenes thrown in for a minute or 2 (that's what was happening in the beginning) to entice young viewers. And these young viewers came with full force - they relished all the fighting scenes, friendship scenes and later love scenes(though brief) Hey, the bottom line was WOW! we just enjoyed the magnificent interaction between Arjun and Purvi. We, fortunately, started getting more and more of Arvi and we got hooked. All the other characters who were supposed to have got equal footing were relegated to the background as they started focussing on our dear Arvi. The Ovi character signed a contract and she needed to do her role so that's why I think she's being given too much attention at the moment. What the writer can do now is to reconcile Arvi asap and develop a storyline for them separate from the main storyline - this after all the MUs are resolved. The producers can invite us, forum writers to write the Arvi story for them. They can take the best ones and work on them. As for Manav and Archana, Soham can help them.

I agree with some of what you've said Namita. (I'd love to see a new show with RD and Asha). Arman and Arvi storylines should both remain strong and the writers should do justice to both the couples. Arvi needs to be reconciled and fast.
