now Purvi is getting on to my nerves... she is just not ready to listen to what Arjun has to say... this is really unfair... let him have his say in whatever wrong is going on... god give some patience to ARVI and please unite them soon... or i will just quit watching this show... 😭

The 'talk' hasn't happen yet as far as I'm concerned. Arjun knows this as he thinks that Purvi isn't ready to hear him yet and understandably so (hiding behind my computer to avoid angry glares ).
In my humble thinking, Purvi hasn't really dealt with her feelings so the only thing she has to hold on to right now is her anger. I'm not upset with her. How long has it been since this whole ordeal? Two days? Three? That's not enough to process this magnitude of hurt. Couple that with EVERYONE telling her how much Ovi is in love with Arjun - Its like pouring gas on fire. She's shut down. Even if you compare their flashbacks - he's thinking of love and she's thinking of pain. She has pushed her feelings down so far to preserve her sanity that she feels the only thing that will help her get through this is anger. She loves Arjun. We all know that. Right now though, she is concentrating on what she's seeing and hearing from others and not listening to her heart. She thinks he's not helpless but what she doesn't understand is that she also thinks SHE's helpless - especially when it comes to her mother's long awaited happiness. Same same, Purvi - you just have to do the math! She will come around but she has to be able to see past the hurt and find the love again. Arjun's actions will show her the way. She needs to be able to trust him again. That's they key to Purvi's undoing. Only when she trusts Arjun again will she be able to bridge the gaping chasm in her heart and soul.
Arjun, on the other hand, is desperate for this issue to be cleared up. He knows how deeply Purvi has been hurt by his non-disclosure and he wants to rectify it immediately and go back to Purviland. I'm not upset with him either. He's trying and I'll give him that (could try harder but then the CV's would have to think of a new story line fast 😆). Even I want to give him a hug 🤗He's alone just like she is - no one to confide in (besides Dad - but I'll leave that one alone for now). There's no sounding board for either of them so how do they sort out their hurts? He feels helpless because he doesn't want to hurt Ovi and by extension Manav and gang but its eating him alive and he needs to come clean for his lady love. He can't bear her hurt at all! He wants to make things right for her. He is her hero though and he really does understand her through and through. He took Purvi 101 - remember he's been watching her from day 1 😆. Her words will obviously cut him deeper than he's ever felt because this is the first time he's truly ever felt anything and coming from the one you love - well that's just the worst. He will get her to trust him again! Her words and actions will spurn him on to take action and he won't be satisfied until she whispers sweetly to him "Do Not Disturb"!!! Then no amount of gravity will ever be able to pull him back to Earth. 😆
I may have mentioned this in an earlier post somewhere else but I think its worth repeating here - Trust is a glass ceiling - once shattered it can never be made whole. There will always be cracks. My heart goes out to these two star crossed lovers... my only hope is that she realizes the truth of his love before its too late.
Laurie :)

Dear Laurie,
I have to say that your post is really one replete with compassion and love for both Arjun and Purvi. 🤗I think you are thinking like that angel who might have had something to do with bringing ARVI together in the first place.😳 You are viewing this from a place where both are hurt and bleeding inside. Purvi is behaving abominably and is lashing out at Arjun is a very unhealthy fashion, but then she goes home and cries thinking about him.
Arjun should take that ring off and give it to Ovi, but I think he is very hurt because Purvi thinks he is a two-timer, and this is making him weak. Ovi is also his best friend, so he's being careful with her.
I wish I could lock ARVI up in one room, until they've cried their hearts out!
😆
The only hope I have from them is what I draw from a past episode, where Purvi had misunderstood him for the forehead kiss, and he had managed to clear it out, and in an oh so a lovely manner. I hope they get back together this time around as well. I know we'd like to see more of them, but I'm not so sure of dramatised versions on TV.. they do exaggerate things at times for the sake of TRPs.
Love your posts!😊

Trish - Thank you so very much for your wonderful compliment. ☺️ That just made my night!!! I'm glad this forum is here to connect with so many wonderful people like you 😃 I read all your lovely posts (and everyone else's 😊) and it inspires me to share my thoughts as well. Besides, its a good catharsis for all of us. ARVI is wearing us out 😆

Like so many of us, I guess, the initial sparks ARVI touched something inside of me. Something pure and primal... they made me want to believe in this fairy tale. Love like this (even fictional) comes along once in a lifetime and when you realize what you have - like Arjun - you never want to let it go. Sparks turned into little bursts of happiness and then - WOW - fireworks!!! 😃

As we saw earlier, Purvi and Arjun were too caught up in their lives to feel the magic. They were on different paths. Both were determined, logical professionals who gave importance to their practical needs instead of their emotional ones. But, ever slightly so often, when the Fates feel generous, love blossoms in the most unexpected of places.

For me, the ARVI story started like this -

The innocent looks - When Purvi lost her pen and Arjun was looking at her, "Clumsy girl" he said. "No, not you" to the person he was talking to on the phone. 😆

The worthy opponents - Arjun and Purvi recognizing each other as equals and set play on a level playing field. 😊

The challenge issued - Arjun to Purvi "All these challenges with you are a waste of time. But I like fighting with you" - "Arjun Kirloskar never loses" 😛

The 'shooting star' juncture - Ahem, the temple scene when their eyes, hearts and souls meet for the first time ❤️

The 'at loss for words' moment - When she comes back from the court all drenched and he is rendered speechless as he watches the water drip from her hair. ☺️ (gosh I love those)

The trepidation of separation - After she'd quit and he'd won the challenge, Arjun wonders why the loss of Purvi is affecting him so. 😕

The tentative heart strings being plucked - At Vinay/Purvi's announcement dinner, Arjun to Purvi "Do you think you could like somebody else?"

The automatic synchronization of spirits - Paying attention to each other's likes and dislikes, - pohe with chili flakes for Arjun / simple, beautiful sari for Purvi 👍🏼

The tender touches
- Arjun putting the bangles on Purvi's hand (one of my all time faves) ⭐️ and later on wiping the tear off her cheek in the elevator.

The slow motion entrances - If a guy doesn't have those about his girl then he has no business being in love and Arjun has it for Purvi baaad 😆

The paramount need for each other's happiness - Arjun with Purvi's engagement (he just wanted all her problems to be solved) / Purvi losing the deal for Arjun

The ravenous stares - Which do I pick? Each one was a better version of the next... ooh la la 😉

The comforting of souls - Purvi attending to Arjun's hurt / Arjun's kiss to Purvi's forehead 🤗

The rapturous union of hearts - When they found each other at the airport and Purvi confessed her love for Arjun... even I wanted to go play in the rain 😃.

The collective sigh - Arjun's heart / Purvi's soul - and the audience's happiness and relief 👏

The mischievous words - Purvi to Arjun 'Acha, so you're afraid of my mom. It'll help me in the future, na? You know? 😉

And the list goes on and on... to me this rishta really is magical. Quite frankly this is the only show like this I have ever watched so the experience is quite new and sometimes unsettling for me. 😆

The cv's have dimmed some of that glow for me but then I look beyond what's being shown (might be whimsical, wishful thinking but I'm happy in this world - they like me here 😆 ) . I see two, very young people learning to deal with the harsh truths of life and very grown up dilemmas. I see them learning to cope with lack of communication, responsibilities to their families and foundations and the fragility of trust. All very heavy lessons to learn so quickly.

I expect the trials, turbulence and the nearly hits and the gaping misses. They each have their own way of reaching the other. It may not always be right but they never miss their targets. Lest we forget, they have already surrendered their souls to each other so aside from leaving this world they can forget about leaving each other.

"The truth is, everyone is going to hurt you. You just got to find the ones worth suffering for" - Bob Marley. Thank you ARVI for igniting that spark within me. Cheers ⭐️

Eternally hopeful - Laurie 😊

I think Purvi is also mad with him because she saw Ovi hugging him the other day. She was thinking about that hug in today's episode.

I agree with you compeletley Purethought!
Purvi has always been afraid of being let down by those that she loves imemensly which includes Archana, Sulochna tai, (Manav) and now Arjun.
She was hurt at the eng.party when she found out that Archu has didden tha fact that Teju is her bioogical daughter! That was a blow taht even Sulo did not tell her anything! And than comes an even bigger blow- Arjun getting engaged infron of Purvi. Two blows at the sam etime from the people that she loves so much.
And yes, I thnik unconciounsly Purvi has always been ready to build a shell around herself if she ever is let down by those she loves, arjun betrayed her and now she is conciunsly, unconsciunsly builing that shell around herself to be able to push him away and to soem extent hurt him so that he can give up on her too. She know that arjun was not really at fault at that party, he was trapped! I feel for Purvi even after yesterdays episode becuase she has always been ready to do anything for her family memebrs but I guess she never realised that would mean giving up her own soulmate! And that hurts her and since she is not telling anything to anyone else, he has only arjun that she can let her anger and helplessness out on. And i think that arjun did not say anything becuase he understands that.

Purvi is still very angry and unable to think sensibly! She is not even able to think how much Arjun loves her and he is not at fault for what happened suddenly, I mean the engagement to Ovi and all😲

Lets wait to see wat happens next ... It is just like Ekta and the creatives to spoil such a lovely love story!!!😡😡😡😡

Dear Laurie,

This has to be one of my favorite posts on ARVI.ClapClap Love the " Ravenous stares" , the comforting of souls, and all of them ' apt use of words everywhere.

I am baffled that in the midst of all the tension around ARVI, you are still inspired to write something so delicately beautiful about their scenes together.

I often go back and see some of their earlier scenes, given the paucity of touching ARVI moments right now.

Their romance has been unique all along, and even though their journey may be curtailed or be made bumpy by the creative team, atleast there is an archive of beautiful scenes we can always return to.

My favorite all time ARVI scenes are ' the temple scene ( their first close- eye lock) ' Arjun just stares at her, as in if a trance, and she stares back, shy, surprised, doesn't know what to think of him, but she likes it there😆 -- and the scene outside Purvi's house, right after the bench scene, where Purvi tells him that she would work for Arjun for free. She had that "I can do anything for you" look in her eyes😆😳. A portion of the confession scene, where Arjun's eyes fall on Purvi standing outside the airport, and she tells him that he was meant to leave and he tells her that he hadn't, twice. Just adorable these two. 😳

I don't know what is to come ARVI's way, but I do know that PR is a daily soap, and will be dramatised, and their romance track might not get the same classy treatment as in movies. Even though class is something we can always attribute to most of the loving ARVI moments. RD and Asha are elegant people and are the classiest couple for me of all times. I love my ARVI, but yes, will not subject myself to Ovi driving a wedge between ARVI or Arvi driving a wedge between ARVI.

I just don't see any chemistry between Ovi and Arjun. They make me want to channel surf😆. It is true. I always skip their scenes together. 😊 I like Ovi when she's nice to others around her, not otherwise.

Bob Marley's quote is one of my favorites! Thanks for sharing!😳

Trish

Here is a short Poem I just wrote for ARVI ( free verse)

Rescue

Deep, in the abyss, I cried for you

I saw your dark teary eyes, staring at me
Your silhouette, indigo in the night
Throwing in a rope to pull me out
A shapely hand clasped your shoulders
And wrenched you away from me
The rope hangs in silence
While you are gone
And I am still caved in..
