Yeah..his family is bit dumb to give surprise engagement to a guy. In Canada, Guy is definitely involved in proposing and getting the ring. It is bit hard to digest this surprise engagement with someone arjun hasn't seen for months or spoken romantically in months.

I truly beleive he loves Purvi however got stuck in bad situation. I am not sure what else he would have done. He is not going to marry Ovi...well never know as ekta is in the driving seat😉.

I hope it doesn't become sacrifice story as it has been beaten to death by most indian serial. I would like to see fresh twist to it.

No offence to those to feel like slapping arjun. I quite like him in love with Purvi. It will be more drama in next coming episodes with Savita going on attack on Purvi once story unfolds in front of the family. I hope ekta maintains Purvi's dignity as I like seeing Purvi very much in love with Arjun.

in the precap.. purvi.. screams and yells at Arjun..it is not because she thinks that Arjun is playing with her emotions like vinay,, but she is yelling and screaming only to show him that she hates him and that he has hurt her ...so that she will have a reason to break up or stay away from Arjun,. so that ovi, her aai baba are kush (happy) .. as for Purvi her aai baba's happiness is what matters..

why do you think she said the statement "I will bring Aai-Baba close, " and she says she will do anything to make sure her aai-baba are coming together...

if Arjun says about his and purvi relation,.. there will definitely be differences between Archana and Manav.. which Purvi does not want.. so she is putting up an act that she hates Arjun.. but Arjun cannot hate her ever,,

No, i understand why Arjun is supposed to be doing this (although we haven't seen yet when Purvi says she will "sacrifice' her love for that reason...it's just been discussed and implied) and of course i caught the foreshadowing in her conversation with Sachin. the only reason he came was for Purvi to deliver that line.😆

But I was explaining why people were upset...it wasn't the engagement but the afterwards...

HOWEVER, I think that regardless of Purvi's "sacrificial" demands, Arjun must take a stand for his love for Purvi. Otherwise, it does make him look like he was only being fickle and dramatic when he was so over the top to declare his love for Purvi and have her reciprocate.

I have to disagree with your take on the precap: i don't think she is setting up a reason for not hurting Archana and Manav's togetherness...(even unconsciously) She still has on the red saree so it is at the party when he goes to look for her and she hasn't had any time to think about a "plan" to "save face" for her aai and baba...i think she truly feels at that moment totally betrayed..-wouldn't you? - she has to feel that he was playing with her emotions -- of course she is devastated. It's only been a couple of days since she finally let down and let go and allowed herself to love. To be hurt on so many scores all at once ...whoa...how utterly crushing...it must have ripped her heart out... Later, she will realize he loves her, and then she will say he must proceed with Ovi...

but i still think Arjun must refuse her demand ...especially if he wants to get back into the hearts of the people on the forum..😆 😆

... may be you are right,.. she might be genuinely hurt..but somehow.. my heart does not consent to it.. that she mistrusts him for betraying her.. she has been seeing his face... where he was in agony.. don't u think she could read his expressions😕..

Arjun has implicit trust on her... purvi's trust in him is not shown.. but if she feels that Arjun betrayed her... then i don't think Purvi deserves Arjun's love..

yes, i think she saw his expressions, and she must have been totally confused by them. She has always seen an Arjun who was strong..confident -in business and in love...once he realized his love he didn't hesitate to declare it and to demand an answer. So to see him go along with this even if his eyes were pleading..had to have sent a mixed message. i don't understand how she wouldn't be devastated. It was obvious that Ovi knew Arjun very well, and words were spoken by Manav, DK and others that showed the Arjun/Ovi affair was of long duration...something Purvi was totally unaware of...Archu knew that Tej and Ovi are her daughters and now Purvi knew she didn't tell her about it...so now ..what was she to think about this ??

Just the fact of watching the man you are totally in love with and who just said they wanted you to be their life partner...getting engaged to someone else before your eyes... oh...oops, sorry i forgot to tell you about this...i mean...that's not supposed to be part of a love awakening...😕

To be honest. 😛 i think if Purvi didn't wonder what the hell was going on, she would be naive and really too trusting...Arjun didn't tell her about Ovi. Whether it was just immaturity or purposeful it wasn't right. It was hiding something way way too big. Maybe he did want to wait til he had talked to Ovi...but from Purvi's point of view...she doesn't know any of this yet.

To feel betrayed and devastated in that moment, hurt and confused doesn't mean that when the air clears and she hears his side and feels his pain she won't understand and trust him. I think she will. But he did hurt her very badly Munni. She has a right to feel this way i think..imo anyway..😉

Hopefully, somehow, wishingly, naively,😆 i want this to be a wakeup call to the entire cast...keeping secrets from your loved ones - especially husband/wife and /or lovers only leads to more trouble. 😲
