DC: Generation Leap Difference

I m happy.. Bcoz PR touch new record after my dear hottest sushant leaving in PR... All cast of PR doing very hardwork. I hope new generation & Arman bring back PR old success..

PR always had competition in the form of bidai yet it was able to come high on the ratings and remain there. Diya bati was there from a long time but as soon as sushant left it grabbed the number 1 slot. If the ratings are improving good for the show, channel and actors as they put in effort. But blaming diya bati for reason of low rating is not right. Yeh ridhta is also a 3 year old show but as far I know it hasn't experienced a nose dip in trps..

Post-generation leap Pavitra Rishta may not be going great guns but the channel and show's main lead Hiten Tejwani feel it is doing better.

"The generation leap is working quite well and ratings have improved," says Zee's fiction head Sukesh Motwani.

While ratings have picked up from the earlier lows of 2.5 to 3.4 TVR, they are below its earlier high of 5.5 a year ago.

One reason for the show not attracting viewers in big numbers is stiff competition from Diya Aur Baati Hum which is consistently notching high numbers at an average of 5.6 TVR at 9 pm.

Hiten doesn't rule out competition from the Star Plus show but says Pavitra Rishta is doing fine considering it is a three-year old show. "Ratings come down when shows get older.

Some shows go down after a generation leap but we have managed to put a better show. And it is still Zee's number one daily," he defends

pink-its not a excuse that dia bati...is good in TRP so PR TRP low.i think audience not attracted toward PR like dia bati hum.though PR actor more powerful in acting.

It is good that PR has regained some TRPs. I feel that it is mainly due to an improvement in storyline. The TRPs really went down when the story dragged and was confusing. For a 3 - year old show, it is doing pretty well. All the old shows including BV, Uttaran or YRKKH have had fluctuating TRPs. YRKKH has come back into top 5 in the recent past after a long long time . All the actors (Old and new) in PR are very good. If the story and treatment stays good, then TRPs will follow. Ofcourse the old ARMAN chemistry was MAGIC and made PR the top show for a long long time. Archana and Manav became brands, as one article put it!

Well post Poppy👏 now Trp is not coming as they expected so they are giving excuses that PR is old show & running 4m more than 3yrs & diya aur baati is the reason 4 PR's less Trp😡

TRP nahi aaa rahi hai to diya aur baati ko blame karo...faltu ke excuse hai sab...hiten tejwani ko bolo ke jake yeh rishta kya kehlata hai ki TRP check kare...jo show PR se bhi old hai aur also check balika vadhu TRP...faltu ke excuse na de.

guys i think hiten is right when show become 3 year ols it loses its charm and if still its giving 3 + trp then its great
